I don't know how it was raised, where it came from, how long its been laying around, how many hormones and antibiotics were used etc. I ONLY buy my meat now from a local farmer that DOES NOT use antibiotics or growth hormones. I know the processing plants, I intimately know these farmers, I see how these cows are kept (I walk in their barn) and I trust how this meat is grown, processed and how long its been in the freezer. I may be lucky but I believe in supporting this SW Michigan family farm and we both benefit. I spent approx. $250.00-$350.00 a month on all of our meat need. I actually am paying just about what I would pay in the grocery store for a MUCH HIGHER quality of meat. I have Autoimmune Conditions and I have found that eating organic, grass fed meats to help me in my healing journey. I prioritize high quality foods over anything else. I believe food is medicine!!
Okay so you don't buy meat in the grocery store you must not buy anything else either because if you ever want to do any of these plans that package process your food you would never eat anything again
How, tell farmers how raise their cattle. The only way is what consumers buy.The same as organic vegetables. Non GMO, and pesticides. They kill the soil. Healthy soil, healthy foods.
So why do meat processors get to do this? They don't have "special" facilities to process the better meat....? A separate processing plant might account for the price hike... But a separate processing plant would be prohibitive... Another example of PRICE GOUGING ... THE CORPORATE DREAM....
@ all cattle are bought at they buyer’s market at a low price by broker’s they then sell the cattle by the head to the meat processing plant’s they have their own slaughter facilities where they start cutting the meat to process it in to different areas of the plant from there you get the different cuts you find in the stores.
All beef cattle are grass fed. The ? is, what feed are they finished on, with what additives, prophylactic medications, hormones, & for how long. Research your sources of all meat. Also, there are only 3 or 4 processors that dictate market prices. Brazil is a huge player, so make sure your beef, & other meats, are local.
It's this "Whistleblower" like Will Harris (Beef Director of the American Grassfed Association) that push and market their cattle to convince the Public that their cattle are worth a higher premium price. Thank you for educating your audience on this Dr Oz. This is how we make changes and demand the market changes by using our dollar. Support your local farmer, OR become one ;)
Big stores are not on the average... Grinding meat anymore in stores... Ground beef arrives in stores in bags that got into the trays in the display case. What are the bags of meat being packed in that makes an irridescent color, plesse?
The problem with "grass fed" beef is a lot say grain finishing which COMPLETELY defeats the purpose and they get to charge a premium because consumers dont understand. I raise my own beef FYI
I've studied this issue a long time (as a consumer) and grass finishing seems to depend on climate. if ranchers in cold climates have to import hay in winter doesn't that justify a higher price than cows that can live on pasture all 12 months? I just make sure I'm buying "organic" grass finished so I'm sure they weren't fed GMO grains. Either way, I'm willing to pay the price until pastured becomes more mainstream. When the mega farmers buy into this prices will come down - but it won't be in my lifetime because first they have to spend a few years to improve their pastures. Meanwhile I only buy local because I don't trust ANY big box store labels that say grass claim grass fed and finished at a lower price than I'm getting locally. I'm with you man!
@@Ketolori I agree . I've visited with him. I'm been in the process of transitioning my farm into all grass based livestock operation like he has. But I have so much invested in equipment and inferstruction. It's tough to make that switch
Come to North Dakota , South Dakota and Wyoming you want to see real grass fed beef they have it and it doesn’t cost a lot, we buy straight from the meat market and it’s the same price as the big Walmart store in this town Dickinson ND.
That's what I said. This SALESMAN is giving us a load of BS. Grew up in rural WI raising cattle is cheap as hell, the land is a bit pricey, but the cattle itself is not expensive to raise. If you buy the hay, then yes it's expensive lol but most farmers are smart, and grow/cut their own hay. We should not pat more for a cheaper product. The overhead he is CLAIMING is a lie, grass is free lol calving is the most work a farmer does with these animals. Usually a 2x a day check is all these animals get all yr till they calf lmao more expensive my ass lmao
We grew up as children learning "cows eat grass" cows graze on grass. Since when is it the common sense in making cows eat corn? The poor cows are forced to eat antibiotic laced corn in feed lots. Where is the sense in that. A most stupid decision. How do you expect the corn/antibiotic fed cows to produce natural good quality high grade nutritious beef when their basic food has been adulterated and they are fed another food? Not grass. Then the people who eat this adulterated beef will surely be negatively affected with this low quality of beef in health issues. What ever man does to the earth and the animals comes back on himself. We are the losers.
I agree with you wholeheartedly! I just hope the new Administration are able to intervene and change the destructive process! I remember when they were talking about creating fake meat and how some people thought that was a good idea. I even added to the topic how the original cell they would grow come from healthy cell first! Our foundation has to be restored - I don’t think there’s any other way. I just found out that the Carrots that I have been eating all my life were Genetically modified years ago and know one seemed to care or maybe didn’t know. I am 68 years old and I didn’t mind a lot of the fairy tales I grew up with - but my food? I am noticing I am affected by my food more and more. This is insane! I guess we should appreciate they are taking our lives in a manner that helps us to leave without much notice. Of course we all know we have certain amount of time on this earth - so I guess these people want to help us along.
We live in an agricultural country find a local farmer buy direct the last i bought was cheaper than in the stores taste better and was tender and the farmer made more than selling it to a middle man support local farmers
One night at FoodMaxx, all the meat in the row along the back of the store was BRILLIANT RED. It was so freaky looking that I didn't even go near it. I knew it HAD to be red dye. Pork, lamb, & beef. . . The only exception was the small section of seafood at the far end. SCARY! Since then, I now wash all meat I bring home very dilligently, no matter where I buy it l. There have been times when a steak didn't look overly red initially, but under the running faucet, a whole bunch of that red washed off . . . and it wasn't just blood. Same with Salmon and the orange dye. It's been a while since I've been to the coast & seen freshly caught fish, but i can tell you that salmon is not brilliant orange in it's natural state. The last salmon that I bought turned to mush and began falling apart within 2 seconds of running cold water over it. WTH?? NOTHING in the grocery seems safe anymore.
Your salmon was probably farm raised. Please don't look into how that works! Just look and ask if it's wild caught. At Grocery Outlet, there are packages of salmon that are wild caught and have a label you can trace where it comes from. It tastes great, too.
This is our Government destroying our meat industry, because they are blaming the methane (Cows farting) and the consumption of water cattle need, just to promote the FALSE CLIMATE CHANGE…LIKE EV cars by destroying our Petroleum industry…The NWO KLAUS SCHWAB WEF are the enemy of the World!
They’re lying to you!!! I raised my own steer and hand fed him every meal….he only ate grass hay until 2 weeks before butchering…his fat was white not yellow like you get at the grocery store!!!! In fact when you make patties for burgers with my steer, there’s barely any greasy feel on your hands! Again the fat was white!!! Grain makes beef fatty, mine only had a little fat!
I totally relate to your burger patty pat experience. Often times my hands after patting my patty are coated with some glue like substance that is very hard to wash off. It often requires straight toxic dish detergent to remove. How is that processed by my internal organs if harsh detergents are required to remove it from my hands?
While grass fed beef is healthier, all cows are grass fed up until the last few months. So if you can't afford tht extra money for it, that's ok. It's still a healthier option than sugar and processed carbs/refined grains.
The word "fatty" seems like heresy when you mention it. There have been at least two diet programs that work in keeping your weight down and actually make you feel better. The Atkins diet which I was introduced to in the 1950's and the Keto diet that is so popular now. Eating fat isn't the primary cause of making you fat, it's some of the foods that you eat with it. The food industry's desire to maximize profits is what is making us sick. Of all the Western countries, ours has the one of the shortest lifespans, but we spend the most money on food by far. There is something wrong with our so-called Standard American Diet (SAD.)
So when a Dr. says he doesn't want to prescribe antibiotics, it's not necessarily that people are overusing antibiotics; it's the consumption of animals routinely given antibiotics before slaughter. Sounds like they are given so much over time, antibiotics are affecting people, particularly when they may need antibiotics themselves.
That and the hormones that they give cows are what's helping to cause young girls to enter puberty early and boys to have "man boobs" and enter puberty early as well.
The cost of grass fed beef should be 3 dollars less , not more. The grass fed beef eat in the pasture grass or from hay bales, depending on the location and time of year. Grain fed beef, all the feed has to be purchased and you have all the costs of the medications they receive on top of that. You are going to spend more on cattle fed grain than on grass.
@@wags1955 It actually don't work that way. Grass feed beef takes longer to finish. So more time in it before the farmer gets payed , pasture and hay isn't free . It actually pricy to have good pasture. And equipment to put up hay or if you buy it averages around 300 a ton where I live for decent hay.
The land cost of raising grass fed beef would surprise you. It takes a lot of pasture to feed one cow! Longer to raise, and fewer cattle per acre make the beef more expensive, but so much more nutritious and flavorful. Land is not cheap!
I say the same thing. The issue is the time it takes to get the cattle naturally up to Weight. 2-3 yrs if your lucky 2 yrs to mature. It's fast money when your cattle make it to market faster. So the system is favoring the fast forced weight gain. Raising grass fed beef is cheap and very hands off. Most cattle get a quick pasture check morning and night to make sure everyone is happy and healthy. Short of calving they never need much care. So the BS that grass fed is more expensive us a load of crap lol
Feed lots are mean and cruel and not a natural way for a grazing animal to live.. We raise our own beef too and quality pasture and good feed in the winter is best... Cows were not meant to eat corn it's not natural for them it was just a way to add fat and bulk to charge the customer more... Good for him for speaking out!!
When younger I was riding my BMW in Idaho/ Montana, stopping in Coure de lane for supper one night we ate steak at a place and it tasted terrible, asked why it did, Corn feed, back home it was grass, barley and oats, hay and silage, much better taste. I think the cattle liked it better as well.
I had a feeling something was very wrong when the meat didn't look or smell like it did when i was younger. I don't or didn't eat meat when i was a kid , but i like a steak every once and a while and i used to like hamburger but it isn't as good as it used to be. Now i know why and now i will feed my family better.
Completely misleading! Beef can be grass fed and grain finished and still "natural". I am a small scale cattle producer and when I sell my yearlings they are completely grass fed. I only give antibiotics when it's vital to the animals health and well being, just the same as I would give my kids an antibiotic as prescribed by a doctor. When I finish a steer for my family it gets a certain amount of grain on top of forage (hay or grass). This is classed as USDA natural. Other USDA classifications include grass fed and organic. I encourage consumers to research this and decide for themselves what beef they want to buy. And by the way, I can't imagine a feed lot with 100,000 head occupancy at one time. If that's true I'd be real supprised.
But if u feed them Monsanto grains there is the origin of the problem. Not saying ur beef aint good. But u see the same thing with chickens. And corn. Healty chickens also eat insects and a chicken that's free-range is the equivalent of a grass fed cow. Garbage in ,garbage out is what the process is. U see it in the meat and eggs or milk.
@@Superliegebeest0Absolutely. Grain with roundup in it kills healthy gut bacteria and causes health consequences in animals and humans. We are killing ourselves.
I’m 54 and dropped beef n pork at 48. Feel way more healthy and cleaner. Don’t miss either at all. Wish I did it in my 20’s. Highly recommend it. I don’t worry about the mystery of either meat.
I believe "grass-fed" means that the cattle 'graze,' roaming pastures & hillsides eating grass, weeds, etc. that's growing in the ground. I'm not sure ranchers actually 'feed' them grass, but I'm no expert.
Who enforces truth in advertising & labeling? If it's the FDA, we all know that's a total joke. Might as well call it the Drug Administration because they only give a sh*t about what fills their wallets & has a Board of Directors position waiting for them when they tire of being employed for the Gov't. When the label says grass-fed, how do we know if the cattle are actually grazed? Same story with supposedly organically grown produce. I'm sure there are standards that are supposed to met in both cases, but since when can the Gov't be trusted, especially regulatory agencies??!! Find a local rancher & a legit farmer's market if you can. Obviously, better still if you can grow your own.
@donnas5209 I did, but what I didn't know was that they would actually break it down later in the video. Sorry about that. You never know what people have or haven't been exposed to. My brother brought 2 friends from college home with him for Christmas one year. Neither had ever seen the ocean. We lived a little over an hour's drive from the coast. I couldn't believe it and was really shocked. I was only 10 at the time, thinking everyone's life experience was the same as mine.
One reason ppl feel tired after eating a high fat corn fed steak is the large amount of saturated fat goes to the blood stream, thickening the blood. Slows down blood flow, aka hypercoagulability.
I eat beef maybe once a year and last week my husband bought a tri tip at our local grocery store. The taste of the seasoning was great but the flavor of the beef was disgusting. It also left our house smelling so bad, I could hardly stand going from our bedroom and all the way to the kitchen. My husband had to open all the doors and turn fans on. I will never ever eat beef again, nor will I ever try the lab grown meats!!!
Thank you for mentioning, in the second segment of the program, the physical PAIN caused by bloating. Which, by the way, I have only heard sick people or vegetable-eaters, complain of. 😢
The last 5 years I have only purchased/eaten grass fed grass finished beef. It tastes better. Less fat for sure but by now I don’t even notice or think at all about the lack of fat. My Family’s long term health means more to me, so we budget for it.
I would like to know where you buy beef at $5.30/lb ? Our local supermarket in GA had a 4.2lb roast that was selling for $68.00 = $16.20 lb for a roast which is considered a low cost cut
@@paulhailey2537 Road kill is normally a lot cheaper. What meat do you buy for $2.99/lb ?? Here in Georgia you can't even buy 6 of the cheapest available Chicken eggs for $2.99!.. We pay $15.43 lb for the cheapest beef roast cut available at Publix supermarket in Buford GA
Why is grass fed more money? I’m not understanding….. If farmers aren’t paying for grains and antibiotics and veterinarians to keep the cow alive……. Grass is practically FREE for them to chew on 🤔🥴
I am all for cows being raised more traditionally. But I will say this it is CHEAPER to let a cow graze then it is to feed it. Land does cost more these days but the labor costs are o by intense during birth. And if a cattleman's is smart he will space out his breeding program all of their cows giving birth within wks of each other is VERY labor intense. But if you keep the bull out with the cows most of the yr they will naturally give birth most of the yr. So don't believe the BS that grass fed cows are more expensive to raise. It's the cheapest way to raise them. However it takes a few yrs for these cows to reach slaughter weight vs less then 1 yr being raised on grain. The grain is what fattens them up. Give the meat it's marbling. Fat is the flavor, it's why we love the taste of fatty meat. So naturally we love the taste of fat cows, fat pigs, ect. Is it healthy for us? No lol bit it's cheap, just takes longer and the farmer has to wait longer to send the cow to slaughter. The current system is faster and more profitable due to its speed and it's convince. You sell a 6 month calf to a feed lot, where it sits in a small pen with sometimes hundreds of other 6 month old calves and they are given a high protein/carb diet alfalfa and corn. After 6 months they are fat and happy, weight a literal ton about 2k lbs (because they are fat) and are sent to a slaughter house to be processed for meat. Letting a cow eat grass and hay is more time consuming and a waiting game. It can be 2-3 yrs before a cow reaches maturity naturally and is the heaviest it will naturally be. That's a long time to watch over the cow. Bit make no mistake. Short of buying/cutting their own hay, and being there for birthing issues cattle are very cheap and hardy animals to raise. It's BS that they want more money for a cheap product
Interesting that they dont offset the higher cost of grass fed meat by the costs associated with being sick, running to the dr to manage chronic issues, etc. Dad always said, you'll pay the farmer or the doctor. The choice is yours.
I raised my own but now I don't so I buy a cow from a small family farm that are grass fed. I do raise my own pigs and chickens ducks and once you tasted animals raised in loving homes the way God intended everything in the stores tastes like 💩 and your mad you wasted your money. You can taste the difference in taste when an animal is raised on grain or grass. But you can also taste the difference between an animal raised with love and is happy or an unhappy animal that's stressed
After WWII farmers started using hybrid wheat that held up better in the fields but does not break down easy in body. Thats why so many are gluten intolerant. And this also may be involved in the number of cases of autism and adhd.
I call BS on that ranchers reason for why grass fed costs more. Sixty years ago when most cows were grass fed you could get a Ribeye steak for something like $2 or $3 lb. And yeah yeah I know it was 60 years ago. It's not just the difference between how it's feed. What it REALLY IS, is ALL of the other outrageous costs that are the cause of the $15 lb. and up price tag.
Get back to buying from local farmers. The word is out about these conglomerate beef industry corporations. I buy local grass fed or farms that are only grass fed. Isn’t it amazing all these big corporate industries did everything in the pursuit of maxing out profits and pretty much every measure business does in this method causes harm to Americans. By way of toxicity to humans, meat that’s unhealthy to humans or products that just don’t hold up to the rest of time. We need a rethinking of the industries we should be supporting with our money.
I'm in canada And My grocery store in the meat department? I just learned that the meat comes from Mexico. I was shocked and the meat is so tough. Even the best cuts --no more I won't buy it. I was trying to find out where Costco got their meats and they wouldn't tell me or I couldn't find anyone to tell me!!! I don't think even the workers know wow. So sad.
At least during the growing season anyway...it does take work and money to keep them fed in the colder months when the grass isn't growing...but that's better than having to buy feed and ad vet and antibiotic costs on top of that.
The problem is development Theres not enough pasture in America to maintain grass fed cattle to feed all the USA These big developers know this & their the same big cooperations that have cattle lots They make money on this. So perhaps we need to halt development & rewild. Florida Texas used to be the biggest meat producer but due to development It is not. Then theres the issue of seasons, grassy season, rainy season, no rain no grass & then theres harsh winter's & it costs the cattle farmer money to move his cattle to a state that has grass unless they got the land to have hay feilds to feed their cattle during none grassy season or winters The price of hay is threw the roof these days. Grass fed cows are best yes As well as actual free range chickens ( another meat problem due to cooperations) Its all about the money
Everything used to be all natural...they they started messing with things and charged us more for there messing....now they have reversed it and want to charge us more for the simpler and healthier options.
They need SPG+ by Impact Fusion International. The cattle, gain weight, heal, reduce flies, etc. So big of a deal that other countries outside the US are looking at adding SPG+ to their cattle. SPG+ is very cheap all natural and not only helps the cattle, but it saves the rancher money.
Beef in Europe is I believe hormone / antibiotic free but I would still pay extra for happy grass fed beef, people have forgotten that half a century ago a sizeable portion of your weekly spend was needed to buy beef or chicken, now it is all taken for granted.
Best meat I've ever had at 48 that's a big statement but the truth God bless white oak pastures 3 diseases his meat has turned me around past all of my tests with flying colors Best health numbers of my life across the board i eat white oak pastures beef and eggs all organic grass fed grass finished Best treatment for me
Grass fed meat.. People need to know... The minerals come from the ground, rocks etc. Different grasses have different root structures.. Some grow very deep others not.. So they differ in food quality...
This process of growing organic meat(Chicken, Pork and Beef) has been going on since the beginning of time. It is the consumers fault that it has gotten out of hand. We want the easy way to get our food, go to the store get what we want. Instead of going to the source of where the product is raised.
Some things not stated here. First corn is a grass and feedlot cattle(not cows) are fed more than just corn. A roughage has to be included which could be corn cobs, straw, poor quality grass, any number of things. I have met Dr Allan Williams and he explained how his cattle are raised, I agree 100% with what he does, and in a perfect world that’s how cattle should be raised, but not everyone else agrees with him. Let’s get one thing straight, agriculture is a business and the $ rules all. Corn is the cheapest (usually) feedstuff out there. As far as antibiotics and artificial hormones technically all beef is antibiotic and artificial hormone free. There is a certain number of days after the cattle consume these products that have to pass so the products can be passed thru the system and are no longer there. Number of days varies according to the product. Antibiotics in cattle have to be used carefully because they can really mess up the rumen biome and cause more problems. All meat and plants for that fact have hormones in them, and cattle don’t get some weird additional hormone added, it is a little more of a hormone that is naturally already in their body.
You forgot to talk about profit per pound , the farmer was growing there wallet, told by AG, not knowing the health problem to begin with, now the dollar is going green grass fed , but I would think the cow would have to purge all the chemicals out of the blood line, again listening to the government a farmer has to make an executive decision to follow the money or fall and stay behind the advice of the government. Not always a good thing ✌️
Dr Oz, thank you for saying that we are what we eat eats. But dude, not only you but one of your guests also, mentioned calories as if they are a primary marker of interest for health and weight management. 😮
Most All Grocery Stores Do Not Ground The Beef, It Comes In Huge Bags, They Package It And Then Spray Water On It Every 2 Hours To Keep The Look Of Freshness!
I've actually bought from White Oak before, because of the higher standard of care of their Cattle. An animal should live the best life possible before we consume it. And make no mistake, Humans are designed to achieve optimal health and performance on a mostly or completely animal based diet. We simply do not have the physiological "hardware" to digest plant matter like Cattle and other herbivore/omnivores. I usually buy from a market down the street though. All locally sourced, ALL grass fed. Now, most of the Farmers will throw grain out near time for harvesting the animal and they'll eat if they want or continue grazing on the grass. Cattle's choice. Now if we can just get all Ranchers to do this with, not only their Cattle, but all the other animals they may raise and to ROTATE crops and animals to replenish the land they way it SHOULD be done.
Question: Does ruminant animals that have guts with 4 compartments, like cows or sheep, have the ability to filter toxins from their diet out of their meat?
Cattle are designed to eat grass. They have a four chambered stomach that can break down cellulose in plants. When are we going to figure out that the natural design can't be improved?

Meanwhile I only buy local because I don't trust ANY big box store labels that say grass claim grass fed and finished at a lower price than I'm getting locally. I'm with you man!
I love Will Harris ❤ go visit his farm in Georgia, his whole family is awesome
@@Ketolori I agree . I've visited with him. I'm been in the process of transitioning my farm into all grass based livestock operation like he has. But I have so much invested in equipment and inferstruction. It's tough to make that switch
I also love white oak farm.
I am in Cumming GA . Is Will Harris close to where I am, and does he have decent prices on his beef? How can I contact him?
Oh yeah! I highly recommend everyone watch the "Roots So Deep" documentary
@raymondwright2985 it's in Bluffton georgia. I worked there for 9 years I love Mr will and the rest of the family
Buy from your local farmer...Factory farms produce sub standard unhealthy meat. Same goes for poultry and even your veggies.
Your wrong and shame on you spreading bullshit
This is why we have allergies or intolerances to some food. Because it enters the food change
Us carnivores are ADDing fat to our grass fed beef with bacon, lard, butter, lol.
Not all... Alot are grain finished. Gotta look for grass fed grass finished.
@@PrimalCarnivoreFallon AGREED
The marble on beef does not want to melt in skillet, why you want to put in your body.
Grass fed beef , then see if marble melts.
Seed oils are poison, natural animal fats are healthy, it's that simple.
EXCELLENT WORK BY SCIENTIST ALAN WILLIAMS! LOVE HIS ENTHISIASM AND CONVICTION!!
Many Big stores are NOT grinding their own meat in the meat departments... Meat ground in plants elsewhere...
Meat is so tough I remember good meat
Can't find a tender steak to save my life! Not even ribeye! What give???????
Because they don't feed them corn any more.
Grass fed cows weigh about 1/2 of what grain fed weigh. Simple math.
The land cost of raising grass fed beef would surprise you. It takes a lot of pasture to feed one cow! Longer to raise, and fewer cattle per acre make the beef more expensive, but so much more nutritious and flavorful. Land is not cheap!
YOUR INFO IS NOT ACCURATE, GRASS FED CAN BE EXPENSIVE . LONGER JOURNEY TO RAISE PURE GRASS FED
VERY IMPRESSED WITH WILL HARRIS!! WHITE OAK PASTURES!!! A REAL STAR AND HONORABLE MAN,, SHOULD HAVE HIS OWN SHOW
Dr Oz u are such a gentleman and u should have a show on that to show these punks to be a real man! Love your shows! Timmy c Bristol CT 💯
I have not bought meat in stores for yrs - only chicken with bones in it
I had a feeling something was very wrong when the meat didn't look or smell like it did when i was younger. I don't or didn't eat meat when i was a kid , but i like a steak every once and a while and i used to like hamburger but it isn't as good as it used to be. Now i know why and now i will feed my family better.
Should be subsidized as crops are, so everyone can afford healthy meat! Would greatly reduce medical costs as well.
Greely co.
Proper grain finish is different then just corn
YES ON GRASS FED. Let us make a way. Educate our country. It is less expensive in the long run.
Awsome video,Thank u Dr. Oz and farmers doing the right thing.Just got a half of cow grass fed grass finished bout 3 weeks ago.
I’m 54 and dropped beef n pork at 48. Feel way more healthy and cleaner. Don’t miss either at all. Wish I did it in my 20’s. Highly recommend it. I don’t worry about the mystery of either meat.
We need ALL farmers to go back to grass (mostly) eating cows!
@evelynmahoney3569 you know what I meant! Lol ALL COWS SHOULD EAT GRASS!
THANKU MARK FOR 2 YEAR INVESTIGATING FOR OUR HEALTH!!!1
Since I started eating grass-fed and grass finished beef about 2 years ago I've lost 50 lb in weight I feel a lot healthier and stronger....
Dr Oz you called factory farming normal. That is NOT normal. Why did you say that? 😮
The last 5 years I have only purchased/eaten grass fed grass finished beef. It tastes better. Less fat for sure but by now I don’t even notice or think at all about the lack of fat. My Family’s long term health means more to me, so we budget for it.
Grassfed bull rocks, butBull on the rokoDietRecommends
Thank you honest farmers!
If their doing that to Cows imagine what their doing to we the ppl..😢
Carnivore is the way to go from healthy cows, the problem is the system, they are into more money less health.
Thank you so much, sjapo. This is the only way ❤
To avoid bloating, just take a tablet of activated charcoal.
Thank you🎉
I bought some grass-fed chop meat at a local supermarket. It's originally $8 a pound, but it was on sale for $5 a pound.
I would like to know where you buy beef at $5.30/lb ? Our local supermarket in GA had a 4.2lb roast that was selling for $68.00 = $16.20 lb for a roast which is considered a low cost cut
I'm paying $2.99 per pound in Phoenix Arizona
@@paulhailey2537 Road kill is normally a lot cheaper. What meat do you buy for $2.99/lb ?? Here in Georgia you can't even buy 6 of the cheapest available Chicken eggs for $2.99!.. We pay $15.43 lb for the cheapest beef roast cut available at Publix supermarket in Buford GA
@raymondwright2985 100% Grass Fed Is $5.28 per pound
Why is grass fed more money?
I’m not understanding….. If farmers aren’t paying for grains and antibiotics and veterinarians to keep the cow alive……. Grass is practically FREE for them to chew on 🤔🥴
Their NOT farmers!
They are ranchers!
Farmers grow carrots not cows...
Wrong.
Corn-fed beef tastes better!
Raw cow's milk, non pasteurized free range eggs, all organically-grown vegetables, and no seed oils !!!
I'm in canada
And My grocery store in the meat department? I just learned that the meat comes from Mexico. I was shocked and the meat is so tough. Even the best cuts --no more I won't buy it. I was trying to find out where Costco got their meats and they wouldn't tell me or I couldn't find anyone to tell me!!! I don't think even the workers know wow. So sad.
Please only buy grass fed pasture raised beef. For your health and because all animals deserve to live in a pasture.
So what your saying is if you have the acreage you can raise your own beef. Grass is free last I checked..vets are expensive though
Wagu beef.
Dr Oz layer layer non stop. Tel truth naw
To do the right thing it cost more??
Or should it just be done that way to begin with.
Is the antibiotics in the cow destroying our gut flora? Microbiome?
Absolutely and the next pandemic is going to come from lack of development of new antibiotics for the last 100 years I guess?
Great news😮
The factories put soy into our foods and it is the worst for me.
Beef in Europe is I believe hormone / antibiotic free but I would still pay extra for happy grass fed beef, people have forgotten that half a century ago a sizeable portion of your weekly spend was needed to buy beef or chicken, now it is all taken for granted.
I’ve always been pretty much a vegetarian. Thank heaven!
And your milk cows treated same way.
Hard to trust the labeling, some beef (grass fed label) doesn’t look like that or taste good!
What about maltidextrin..the big problem in most prepared tin, powders and sweets
Damn that steak on the BBQ grill looked good!!
Dr Oz, thank you for saying that we are what we eat eats. But dude, not only you but one of your guests also, mentioned calories as if they are a primary marker of interest for health and weight management. 😮
Grass fed grass finished Dr Paul salidino
Most All Grocery Stores Do Not Ground The Beef, It Comes In Huge Bags, They Package It And Then Spray Water On It Every 2 Hours To Keep The Look Of Freshness!
How about the use of Macadamian Milk instead of Almond Milk?
Why don’t people stop abusing animals unnecessary and stop eating unhealthy animal products anyway?
Beef only Americans adore it? Humanity adores beef. For the health of the industry alot is needing changed. Welcome RFK junior.
I can't afford beef so I am left eating food that is killing me and I know it ....
Need not just grass fed but also grass finished. 100% grass fed
cows are too short to eat corn, humans cant digest cellulose from corn or grains .
NEED to break the monopoly of TYSON FBL Smithfield. who breaking the rancher, pig farms chicken.
I heard they're giving out Nobel prizes in Cracker Jack boxes these days 😂
Grass is free, to graze cattle. At least unless tve farmer reseeds and rotates their pastures. It should not codt more to grass feed cattle.
Didn’t mention “grass
Finished” vs “grass fed”
Question: Does ruminant animals that have guts with 4 compartments, like cows or sheep, have the ability to filter toxins from their diet out of their meat?
