Congrats on your new wheel and thanks for ordering my tools!
A wonderful vessel made with great patience.
That would have been a nice shape for an outdoor lantern with cutouts

Amazing video. Thank you to share with us.
You are welcome!
Good!
Would you demo making a Grecian wine urn with the fancy handles?
What is the small stone that you use on the foot of your pieces? And why do you do this?
Have ALWAYS enjoyed you good instructions - One question please - I noticed after placing the piece in the chuck - was that a circular bubble level you placed on top??? Thank you very much - R
Yes, it is. Level first and then center.
@@hsinchuen thank you very much - have learned much from your videos - wish I could have had in person instruction, but very happy and thankful to have what you present.
I am wanting to buy a new kiln, can you please give me your thoughts on different kilns, and what you use? Thank You, Janene
I personally have a Skutt 1027 and it has been more than 25 years with me.
Mettez vous une couverte transparente ?
How and why did you finish the rim. It seemed like you folded the rim back on itself, but it happened so fast I wasn’t sure.
I just compressed down to make it thick.
Ms rachel
Very nice. Did you use a black underglaze or colored slip for this?
Coker slip
@@hsinchuen I've never heard of that before. I couldn't find a reference on the internet. Unless you meant colored slip. :)
Sorry, mistyped. Colored slip. I posted the recipe in one of my recent upload.
Which tool are you using for the vertical lines?
It’s the Sgraffito line carving tool I made. They can be purchased on my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/listing/921489012/a-set-of-3-precision-sanggam?ref=shop_home_active_8&frs=1
Hello Hsin, I can't find the tool in your shop to put the jar on for trimming ??
It’s call chuck. You have to make it yourself. Just watch one of my video on how to do it.
@@hsinchuen which video is it ?
