- With this video I want to show you how I make a ceramic Bowl at home without pottery wheel.
I create the bowl using the ancient form of pinching, so no pottery wheel is used. I love the slow pace and mindfulness that hand-building ceramics requires. Hand-built pieces also have an organic and rustic feel that I adore. Lots of love xxx

Which clay you use?
Thank you SO much for sharing your knowledge! I am on an extremely tight budget, so can’t afford the type of ceramics I want. This will help me save money. May I please know what type of clay you use?
You are welcome! I am Happy you like it. 😊 I use white stoneware with very little chamotte in it….
You can easy find clay in nature and process it for free (dry or wet process) you can lean many things on andy wards ancient pottery chanel.
What kind of Kiln do you use in your firing?
I use a pyrotec kiln for my ceramics …
