I made this. My bf and my coworkers loved it!! Thanks for the recipe!! I couldnt find the 1lb Fluff so i got two small jars of fluff (the standard medium sized ones) and a 12oz bag of Marshmallows (not the mini, the regular size) and the 9 cups of Rice crispy. Came out perfect!! 🥰🥰🥰 The parchment paper is a Life saver when dealing with such a sticky dessert😊
I just made some krispy treats for a friends birthday. My special one uses the standard recipe, but a bag and a half of marshmallows, 3/4 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy) and 9 cups of Flintstones Cocoa Pebbles. I prefer them over the chocolate Rice Krispies because of the shape. They are so good!!
Instead of the fluffy add 1 1/2 bags of marshmallows plus vanilla 1 1/2 tsp plus pinch of salt. You could add maple syrup to taste be careful not too much as you’ll pop the rice crispy cereal.
I always make mine in the microwave much easier and quicker. Microwaves are great for melting marshmallows and chocolate without it burning. I do slightly more marshmallow than rice crispies but almost equal measurements. The biggest trick I have found is NEVER press the mixture in the pan, gently spoon in. This keeps them very light and crispy.
Idk if anyone has said it yet but I LOVE the music on this video 🥰 it reminds me of my childhood lol I also just made these and they look so good! it’s torture waiting for them to cool 😅
I saw your video ND had TO MAKE it!! love it SO YUMMY! I really like that you don't say to put it in the fridge, it keeps it softer when left outside, Smart idea!
I used to Make these when I was little and they always got hard after cooling..2020 I see the magic ingredient is fluff!! Mind blown. Damn those the box ingredients
Good recipe, without the fluff, I couldn't get my rice krispies to be soft and chewy, they would just harden up like a brick within minutes, I was getting so annoyed.... but this batch turned out amazing! Thanks!
I can only get cocoa krispies in Mexico City, Mexico and you can just forget about finding marshmallow fluff here too. However, I just made cocoa krispie treats and they are just as yummy! I've also made with fruity pebbles and flavored mini marshmallows. Kids really dig those.
Oh thnx for letting me know this recipe works with halal marshmallows too, also I don’t have the marshmallow fluff so I’m going have to try without it and see if it’s good (I think it will be)
Just double the butter and marshmallow in the original recipe. I've done it for years (I actually just use the entire stick of butter... you can never have too much) 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter 2 packages (20 oz., about 80) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows -- OR -- 8 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows 6 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
i have a really easy recipe! it's super crunchy but not so chewy just mix nutella/peanut butter with rice krispies, then lay it on a big plate or bowl with cling wrap of top, then put in the freezer for 2 hours. after that if you have leftover, just put it into the fridge.
Is your spoon made of slippery plastic in order to avoid the recipe sticking to it.What manufacturer makes it.Can't seem to find one in Canada.Only the wooden types available over here.
i just throw some butter in a pot, let it melt, add marshmallows, let those melt, mix in cereal and dump into a brownie pan sprayed with cooking spray. no measurements and yet it tastes great every time
I love making this treat with my grandson. Thanks for sharing the added fluff. What makes the marshmallows you used better than the store bought ones? They are 8.99 per bag. Are they thicker?
ahhh that looks so amazingly good 🥺 reminds me of how before tests my teacher would give us “brain food” (homemade Rice Krispies, lol). makes me miss them. I’m trying to make these for my little sister’s 9th birthday! I burn everything I cook so I’m hoping this goes well haha
Pricila Arres Hi! I usually wait 2-3 hours, depending on the size of my pan. The thicker the rice crispies, the longer you want to wait. Cooled rice crispies are less likely to fall apart.
For more accurate measurements try dry measuring cups for the cereal that was way more than 9 cups of cereal when measured in a liquid measuring cup...just a tip they looked cool just too sweet for my tastebuds
Homemade is so much better than the store bought ones
The store bought ones have a chemically after taste.
Homemade always better ..I agree store bought not good at all..
@@ah-ss7he your right. It's because they put plastic in them 🙅🤦

That’s a good recipe. I usually add more marshmallows for a softer creamier treat, ur idea is better!

Shara Kirkby Maple syrup is a cool idea!
Why did I sit up when I read "pop rice crispy treat cereal?" Frfr I want to do that.
This looks so yummy right now. I don’t think I’ve had a rice crispy treat in decades.
Last time I recall I had a Rice crispy treat was the 23rd of February, 2018... two years ago...

This is even better with a big dollop of peanut butter. You can also do this with cocoa krispies and add the peanut butter with the marshmallows .
I don't like peanut butter like that. But this sounds delishous.
Thank you for making halal 🙏🏿💕
I like the sweet tasting ones
I am going to try this at home , i have never made it but i love buying them at the mall🙂🙂🙂🙂

sho'nuff gonna keep it real witcha they are pork gelatin free.
@@angiesaucedo1190 I made them this weekend they are the best I made so far. Thanks again.
They're made with beef gelatin, but any marshmallows that fit into your dietary lifestyle would work.
Yay! Glad you liked it
can I eat it rightt after making it or do I have to wait for a couple of hours
You could totally eat it right away, just keep in mind that it won’t be “solid”. Allowing it to set for a couple of hours helps build the structure =)
How many tablespoons of butter?
Tysm!! That really helped!
How do I get them off the parchment paper in one peace
AR & BEE is it possible to make rice crispy treats without marshmallows and rice crispy
*Is it just a coincidence that i had the same brandof marshmallows **#halal*
Nice! They taste great
Can unsalted butter be used ?
MarieEats Sure! I would add a pinch of salt as you melt the butter. Salt helps balance out/enhance the sugar.

Did u turn the heat off before adding the cereal? Or keep the heat on the entire time?
Sorry for the late reply! I turned it off, but alternatively, you could keep it on low to keep the marshmallow mixture from cooling too quickly.

well technically yes but you should’ve chosen another recipe if that’s the case
