$1,500??? No front suspension, 48 Volt 12.8 amp battery, mechanical disks. There are other eBikes with front suspension 48 volt 14 amp batteries and hydraulic disk brakes for $1,100 out there.

Hi, here are my thoughts: I did some thorough research, and you are right, front suspension and hydraulic disc breaks would have been nice at this price point. However, everything seems to be well thought through and is nicely designed. I noticed high attention to details pretty much everywhere. Also glad to see, that company is located inside the USA and not in China. The main point why I decided to go for it, is the fact, that they use high quality Panasonic 18650 battery cells. And about the battery capacity restraints: I will order a second battery for $499.- if it turns out that I like the bike for this year. Certainly a massive upgrade from my Jetson Haze bike for $600.- , where I just experimented to find out if this foldable idea was the right thing for me. In addition to that, I have a Prodeco Phantom X3 full sized e-bike that is still going strong after 7 years of continuous use. Love it! But there was no way, it would fit in my car, and I did not want to add a bike rack to my sports car, obviously. Hopefully, Blix stays in business. Prodeco is long gone, and if anything major fails, I have a $2,500.- yard ornament. BTW, biggest challenge for me was to find a foldable bike that does not incorporate those fat tires. Not my thing. I believe the proportion of tires versus frame don’t look right. Might consider them for a full sized mountain bike or something like that. Greetings from Ohio, Marco

@@V8-friendly Thanks for the reply. I too don't like fat tire bikes and would prefer regular tires if they would make the foldable bicycle lighter. But the Blix is only 5 lbs. lighter than a fat tire bike like Ride1up's Portola which supposedly comes in at 59 lbs. It's great that we have a good selection of electric bikes to choose from. Yes, the fly-by-night nature of many of these companies is annoying.
