I prefer the thumb throttle, but I don’t use the throttle, only to start off and on tight corners. I do believe that if I used it more often, I would prefer the twist throttle also. I do prefer that style of hand grip run them on all my bikes. I have to tell you for such a small motor. It makes a lot of noise.

I agree, I only use the throttle as well to cross intersections and climb hills a bit.
