To say Aikido is not well respected as a martial art is entirely WRONG. It's not respected by a lot of MMA fans because it's flashy, ineffective in the octagon and nobody has ever claimed to be aikido and won a title. However Aikido is not allowed in MMA. It is small joint manipulation which is not allowed in UFC at least because things break constantly. But Aikido also takes a lot from Jiu-jitsu and is very close to it. In fact, the best way to breakfall is found in Aikido training. Not Judo, not Jiu-jitsu. Aikido. To disrespect it as a martial art is naive and echo chamber talk.

Anyone who relies on their black belt in Aikido no matter what degree will most likely end up in ICU or dead. Back in 1994 I trained in Aikido for six months or so and was shocked to see MANY guys some 50 - 60+ years old who were Aikido black belts and truly believed they could defend themselves on the street. Long story short, I was a Golden Gloves boxer and actually sparred some of the black belts away from the dojo. I wore boxing gloves - they didn't and were free to hit me, take me down, throw me, etc. I'm not bragging - just being honest: I weighed 135 lbs and it was a cake walk with all of them. They freaked out when I hit them with a left jab because they weren't used to being hit at all. Valuable advice: Learn to box and spar often because on the street you are going to get hit no matter who you are. 💯
Redeye is great and his Seagal voice is hilarious although I got tired of the Lawman ones as it was just too depressing seeing a truly awful human being like Seagal interacting with real people and treating them like dirt.

The last time I seen a Steven Seagull movie, I was on a Flight, and the movie was so bad that people were literally walking out of the movie in Mid Flight.
Seagal's biggest downfall was his massive ego. The minute you flex that you're better than Bruce Lee, the quicker they'll be pushback. I hoped that those SA allegations were untrue but, "Hollywood!" Favorite films Under Siege Glimmer Man Screw face Under Siege 2 And of course Above the Law.

In my opinion, Exit Wounds is Seagal's best movie. I thought it was a solid action flick with great sequences and a good supporting cast. I do think it is a bit weaker than Andrzej Bartkowiak's other movies that came out during that era (Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave), but still, solid flick.

The last time I seen a Steven Seagull movie, I was on a Flight, and the movie was so bad that people were literally walking out of the movie in Mid Flight.

He's not wrong about Nazis in Ukraine. In fact there was quite a bit of reporting on the various groups in Ukraine, as well as the rampantcorruption, only to be swept under the rug when the war began..Now Ukraine can do no wrong.
In my opinion, Exit Wounds is Seagal's best movie. I thought it was a solid action flick with great sequences and a good supporting cast. I do think it is a bit weaker than Andrzej Bartkowiak's other movies that came out during that era (Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave), but still, solid flick.

One of those gods whose patronage is kind of nebulous and the rest of the gods don’t like him and the only reason we know he exists is because of a small cult who saved some manuscripts where his name wasn’t blotted out completely.
He does not even compare to Clint Eastwood or Denzel Washington. Now that is 2 of the best actors. Their are others but they are the 1st 2 that come to my mind. Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington's movies were all hits . I can't say that for Steven Segal.
