Metric tons is spelt tonnes not tons. Also most of that does not look like it would exceed 1000kg which is a tonne.

I feel like Blanca would be normal/dark because she can be a prankster. Joan would be ground/plant because of her connection to the earth and turnips. Resseti would be ground (because mole) and fighting for when you reset. Katrina would be psychic and dark (in CF I believe she would drop an anville on your head after you paid her.)

I would make KK Slider a fairy type because he's very aloof and carefree, and he likes to charm others with music. I would make Kappin' fighting and Water because he's a sailor and was also talking about being burly. Joan and Daisy-Mae I would make both ground and grass for the farming and general aesthetic. Mr. Resetti I would make Ground and Dragon, ground is obvious, but Dragon because he is relentless and ineffective against whimsical fairy children that are going to reset and time warp in the game anyways no matter what lecture he gives them.

I mean seriously how many named characters are in the elder scrolls series now? Like 5~20 per city with main games usually having around 15 cities each with 6 main games (I count elder scrolls online to them, fight me) in the series and what 8 spin-offs (multiple elder scrolls adventure and travels games(redguard, battlespire etc.) , elder scrolls legend and elder scrolls blades)
I feel like Static the squirrel would be a *perfect* Pikachu clone. He's already heavily associated with electricity, and if he didn't have the cranky personality type, his disposition would probably be perfect for a Pikachu clone as well.

18:36 Gyriod's and Lyoid are Haniwa, Japanese clay funeral statues buried with the dead as guardians (similar to the famous Terracotta Army of China, but on a smaller scale). They should definitely be rock/ghost or ground/ghost.
Edit - 21:47, ok so you referenced the statues regarding Coco, but not the purpose of the statues. Again, typing should be same as above. Maybe the rabbit is possessed?
Edit 2 - End of video. Ok, he redeemed himself by covering the origins, so I should probably delete this, but I'm not going to because it chronicles my journey through this video.
Here’s some more villagers and their types:
Bob: Normal. He's just our average, loving cat.
Rosie: Electric-Ice. Her birthday is February 27th, which is Pokémon Day. Pikaclone! Also ice for her color scheme and winter birthday.
Static: Electric. His name and catchphrase just scream electric type.
Chrissy: Fairy. She is very cheerful and cutesy.
Francine: Dark. She’s the dark opposite of her sister Chrissy.
Blaire: Poison-Dark. She’s based on a skunk. Also dark for her personality.
Bunnie: Grass. Her design is based on a cutting technique to make apples look like rabbits. There’s also a sticker of her watering flowers.
Kid Cat: Fighting-Electric. He looks like he's ready to fight evil. Also electric type for the race-like design. I still can’t believe this type combo is unused...
Skye: Flying. Her fur has patterns of the sky!
New villager Audie: Fire. She wears sunglasses on her forehead, and she has a tropical outfit. Her fur is the same color as fire, too.

John _TGB i second this. Exclude bug from everyone in that game and do other types (or give everyone up to three types with one always being bug)
Prob a lot of bug steel, bug flying, bug fire, bug ghost, bug dark, quite a lot of bug poison, and a few notable bug ghosts
White Lady,mushrooms and the pufferfish of the Royal Waterways being the exceptions

Umbrella eye thing guy if you do it by my suggestion of excluding bug or making it a third type, then it becomes a lot more interesting imo

Celeste could be psychic or fairy since her star constellation stuff also means moon things. And her new role involves having you gather star wishing fragments to craft the magical girl wardrobe changing wand you learn from her.

Instead of just saying what types they are, say what types they are *along* with their move types
What do you mean? Smash Isabelle is horrifying, Way above Palutena and Kirby. Her pocket implies she has pyrokinesis, water bending, control over the very life forces of Aura and Chi, Is able to redirect electricity at will, Is completely immune to both Phazon and Dark Phazon radiation as well as being able to store and release it, Psychic abilities that trump those of Mewtwo, Is either quick enough to play Quicksilver with photons and redirect them or can create small black holes. Not to mention she's effortlessly able to hurl around kaiju with nothing more than a fishing rod.

@@dorianjareth9198 not quite that simple. There are some plants that shoot ice, some plants punch, some plants hypnotize, some plants shoot fire, some plants shoot electricity, the list goes on. Same thing with the zombies.

On a similar yet different note, Pokemon types for DQ3 classes and my arguments for them:
Hero (Brave in Japan): electric/steel. They can equip any armor but the endgame set is typically depicted as full plate armor (hence steel) and are the only ones that learn the Zap series of spells. Every future DQ game even leans more into this, adding other electric based abilities such as Gigaslash.
Warrior: Fighting/Steel. As with Hero, they mainly use metal weapons and heavy armor (which is usually metal) and their lack of spells and emphasis on physical combat leans into this.
Mage: Fire, Ice or even Fire/Ice. This one's the hardest to pin down, but the better majority of spells they use are fire based, but can use ice magic that is just as strong.
Priest/Cleric: Fairy/Grass. In addition to healing spells, they also deal in wind, instant death and protection magic. The main healing items in the franchise tend to be herbs, so the argument could be made for grass. As for Fairy, the classical Fair Folk do all kinds of things, good, bad and everywhere in between.
Martial Artist/Fighter: pure Fighting. Look at the name of this class, and try to tell me why it *wouldn't* be pure fighting.
Thief: pure dark, because sneaking, stealing and the like is easiest to do in the dark where it's hard to see (among other reasons).
Jester/Goof-Off/Gadabout: Normal Fairy. They're literally Metronome, the class. Nuff said about that.
Metchant: Dark/Fairy. In-universe, this class is frowned upon, and is even stated to be as much when a party member tries to change into this class, and fairy because they can instantly summon a weapons merchant, items merchant or even a freaking INN anywhere on the overworld map.
Sage, the game's prestige class: Fairy/Fire. They have access to most of the spells used by priests and mages, from healing, instant death and buffs and debuffs to a lot of different fire spells, the one set of wind spells and the one set of ice spells.
Del also surrounds himself with tech too so Steel definitely fits.
I like the symbols of the types in this video. They look so cool!
