Coincidence, the Ranger was made for Mars missions. (As stated by the novel)

@@znatrix Do you mod the mods? By that I meant giving some engines waterfall plumes, custom TUFX profiles, edit part configs etc.
@@fork9001 Yes I do. Examples are TUFX (not my configs), AVP (changed the skybox and removed tons of configs) and sunflare mods.

The editing and visuals look amazing! Great looking craft in the movie too. Was the main lander ship a mod part(s) or was it created from stock parts? It looked great - a lot like the atmospheric vehicle in Interstellar.

@@znatrix Seriously, I ended up having a blast at work and got a huge piece approved because of it! Also, is that Interstellar-style cockpit a mod? And if so, what mod? I really want that set, been a bit out of the KSP loop these days, but always come back when I have new parts to work with.
@@3dCraddock I could never have imagined that one of my videos would have such an impact! The cockpit is made of stock parts, craft download link is in the description (Eclipse C-30 iirc, mods required should be listed in the description of the steam craft download).

i like that concept of having two reusable boosters that feed from an expendable tank. It's very cheap to make tanks like that (compared to engines and their hardware and avionics, etc.).

Know what… I’ve never seen a dual shuttle launch before lol. I honestly thought I’d seen everything that KSP modding could accomplish.

Thanks a lot! I think TUFX helps a lot with Steven’s configs. Most of the camera angles are made with CameraTools.

The launch tower was from the mod Modular Launch Pads.

Check the craft download in the description. The cockpit is made of stock parts but you might have to install restock plus to make it work.
What did you make the black underside of, are they just normal wings with black skin?
And what RCS thusters were you using?
To do that I used grip pads. The RCS are the ReStock RCS thrusters.

It's stock with ReStock+

You know what I need? A mod that takes out the windows and hatches from all the modules like, why tf do I need 2 doors right next to each other?? Why the cupula has a door???
Eclipse doesn't open, do you need any mods, what kind of mods are they?

Very well done as usual. Considering that KSP2+future addons will look better than this game, with your editing software you will be very close to the quality of the animations made by NASA.
Anyway, not so long ago even their best animations didn't look that good.

Dude, how much does your computer cost?
It's not a top tier computer by any means but maybe around $1200 I think. The reason it looks as though my performance is good is because I speed up most clips. At best I maybe get 50 fps but sometimes only 10.
