    Athletic muscle is real as well as tendon strength. I’ve been lifting for years, but stopped sports and athletic movements mid 20s. Now in my 30s I’ve started back with these types of movement and already making progress. Great content!

      As a 52 year old indoor soccer keeper tendon strength, range of motion and movement is definitely trumping straight-up muscle gain.

    • @rodolfomedini9931
      @rodolfomedini9931 Рік тому +1

      @@bonehr8224 I'm well aware of Jay and some of his content. His biggest short comings are regarding training frequency, cardio for health/conditioning or even weight loss as he knocks it all around , and his attempt to push HIT in sports while using a former NFL S&C coach whose team's records were at best average but realistically below average as his thesis.

    • @bonehr8224
      @bonehr8224 Рік тому +3

      @@rodolfomedini9931 I think one video he said he wouldn't train NFL players once during a season 🤔...

    • @rodolfomedini9931
      @rodolfomedini9931 Рік тому +2

      @@bonehr8224 yup that was his suggestion as he overplays fatigue and ignores the bodies ability to recover over time when you become a more advanced lifter. He does this even for his own claimed training which is ironic as he self admittedly uses exogenous androgens (TRT) so his ability to recover should be higher and he can train much more frequently than 1-2 times a week 20 minute sessions he states. He's trained no or few athletes and blindly suggests his method is superior. When he does cite a source it's piecemealed for what served his purpose despite the rest might be contrary to his approach. With regards to athletics and speed training he claimed to have set track records for his high school so he knows a thing or two about being fast BUT omits the fact he didn't practice HIT when setting any records or when he was an athlete but pushes HIT in the realm nonetheless. Do as I say not as I did... What is particularly crazy is his following still supporting him even when giving objectively inaccurate or bad advice.... I use to get shorts in my feed until I blocked them and if it made no sense I called him out but ended up deleting all the comments on his channel as I was getting some of his followers commenting on my videos and didn't have the time to engage. One told me not to hold my breath during a heavy set of squats and to breath naturally. The person did a static hold of an air squat to failure once every eight days and told me a barbell couldn't make me stronger and I was ego lifting... Was a set of five about 80-85% of my 1RM I honestly thought he was trolling but he either he never broke character or was serious.
      Jay's got a simple playbook for his videos. Anything I don't do is wrong, stupid, or a waste of time with emojis in place of some words in subtitles and you're an idiot if you do them... I've seen him take a PT exercise out of context just for the sake of criticism.

    Para mí el fit de las camisetas es muy importante, me encantaban las de Liu Jo, pero lo cambiaron. Ahora mismo las básicas blancas y negras de Celio son las que me gustan (en cuanto a fit, veremos lo que duran). Echaré un vistazo a tu video, gracias por el contenido.

    • @Smithster80
      @Smithster80 5 місяців тому +1

      Probably a full body workouts. Start with some plyos (unilateral and bilateral), some compound max strength and speed strength movements (pull-ups, presses, hinges, throws), conditioning work for time like planks, curls, extensions, bridges for 20-30s. Prioritise quality of movement and execution for important exercises at the start that you need. The ones at the end are basically complementary and these should auto regulate more than the main lifts.
