you said get in postion to lift with BACK AND NOT LEGS.
I assume u meant it the other way
"put yourself into a position where you are lifting with your back and not your legs" ...think that might be backwards lol
It's backwards 😕 your right ✅
lmao put your backs into it boys, get that workers comp
thanks alot god bless u all
This method is fine but only for sometimes. It can't be applied to a patient with broken arms or legs.
Useful info!
Thank you!
Thank you 😊 💓 ☺ 💗
Republish without mistake: lift with legs, not back
Thank you for the lift around 1min I used it for my dad today and it worked.😢 Stage 4 metastatic melanoma with 5 masses in the brain sux
💜
This was the ONLY vid that showed me and my daughter how to correctly get my totally invalid 81 yo husband off the floor onto a sofa. Thank you!!
Was wondering what to do during the "Check for Situational Hazards" stage of CPR if there actually were any hazards.
Thanks!
If there are hazards then either find a way to deal with them or if they are too dangerous to handle leave the area immediately and if you can do so safely move the patient as well and leave the hazards to trained professionals such as emergency responders to handle and notify them about the type of hazards on the scene.
what would u in a situation that the person may have a broken neck or back or just in injury in that area how would u move them ?? let's say u had to move them in a grave situation before it was to late and couldn't wait for paramedics to arrive??
You gauge the greasiest risk, if there is an external risk that presents a grave threat you are going to move them as quickly and safely as possible.
If they are safe where they are leave them there until medics can stabilize them.
Lifting with your back and not your legs? What the hell?
Thanks! I have my skills evaluation coming up soon and I want to watch videos to make sure I’m doing the different lift methods appropriately. I have kids so I practiced the different methods on them 🤣😅
This video should explain how do you control the patient if he/she struggles
I think she meant lift with your legs and not your back
1:37 pretty sure she meant to say with your legs, not your back...
This is basically how to drag a dead body 101.
Ranget roll all I have to say
hew if your a doctor can you tell me why my jaw keeps locking?
Get a massage specifically to your neck and face to help you get in touch with those tight muscles so that you can learn to stretch them or consciously relax them when they are feeling tight.
It's not good practice to grope pt when adjusting the patient to carry
What if you live in America and everyone is extremely obese... Honest question here.
+Hello Kitty get a lift assist
my niece is so heavy to lift and she's 4 lol
+codergrl Different agencies probably have various standards, but working in the ems field myself, I've only had to do this a few times. Call for backup if the person is too big.
Do this again without another assistant. Getting somebody to their feet.
if they do thatwith mw on the ground and having EDS,..... bI wouldn t be able to be moved that way. I would risk severe spine trauma, as my spine is very instable and can subluxate at any moment, especially carrying me that way and my shoulders would dislocate......
abigail van der Pluijm its an emergency move if your unconscious unresponsive in cardiac arrest and you can’t tell us your back is fucked up we may get a hint if you have back braces or something everywhere. But this is general done in emergency situations where they need the pt out of the area ASAP. Otherwise you’ll be immobilized or a sheet will be used to carry you.
I was taught a different way to move a single person
Oops!
I used this to lift my mom off the floor. There was no other way
OOPS….Lifting with your back and not your legs?
Think she got the heavy end 😏
now lets see them do it with a 400 pounds old dude who is on the ground not able to move his legs.. this lift is not realistic
