it is much easier to place the cravats underneath the victim before placing the splints. this allows them to already be in place so you don't have to move the victims legs when applying splints.
0:42 YEAH, you want to lean *RIGHT ON* the fracture point. Patient's love that! You moved the leg around more than the honey pokey contest winner! Be prepared to be smacked!

I'm so exited I'm going to be learning how to apply a splint, how to bandage up something, and how to do CPR
It’s easier to put all cravats in place before putting the splints.
GRACIAS!!!
like the video. helpful about tying the cravats. isn't the ankle still free to move up n' down tho?
thanks ...
very helpful
Last time I checked, your supposed to tie on the lateral side of the leg.

Slide the cravats in place. Because if you do this in a real situation with that too much movement you are adding pain to the patient.

Thats how my teachers are teaching us now and you're not supposed to lift the injured up. Just slide the board underneath the voids.
would you have another emt hold traction while you apply the splint?
Milbit more fore a for a traction splint in femur area.
December 2021 your watching this because of a major subject in physical education
