      @@sitcomsTV No, it makes YOU wonder. Most people will just accept the fact that was obvious from the start, which is the fact that he's innocent.
      From the start, it seemed preposterous to me that they'd think a security guard would commit a random murder while working, on his shift, on a territory that he was patrolling. It made no sense to me whatsoever.
      I understand if he was moonlighting as a killer - dressed in black, sneaking up on people, unnoticed.
      But not on his shift, at his work place!
      This theory was so stupid. stupid as those goddamn jurors who condemned a man to life on prison based on ZERO physical evidence! Idiots, driven by emotions.

      Agree!! May victim's soul rest in peace, but the details that "only the killer would know" didn't seem like details only the killer would know! It seemed like normal details a war vet witness would notice. He knows guns and shooting angles and he may have just been too enthusiastic about sharing his theories on what happened.

    • @gardensofthegods
      @gardensofthegods Рік тому +7

      Yes that was scary the way they all decided he must have done it .
      I have a weird feeling the reason he told so much of his theory is because maybe in the back of his mind he thought the police would somehow tell his bosses are the head of the security company that the guy really knows his stuff and should get a promotion ... I know that sounds weird but the guy was afraid he'd get blamed for the murder but didn't think that giving all that information could make him look guilty .
      He made his worst nightmare come true ... that's why I think somewhere in the back of his mind he was looking for some kind of praise for figuring out how the crime went down .
      Poor guy lost 11 years of his life because he didn't keep his mouth shut

    • @gardensofthegods
      @gardensofthegods Рік тому

      What's also scary and clearly dangerous is the fact that it seems the detectives have not yet done a DNA swab from the gang member guy in the car next to hers who had a history of carjacking had even stolen a car like hers and even had the same type gun that killed her .
      Why haven't they done the DNA test ... maybe they have ? Guess I'm going to have to research this .
      Once they are able to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that this guy was innocent when somebody else shows up on the DNA test this security guard would qualify for a major lawsuit and payout

      Rich people have a different code of morality than the rest of us.
      They can use influence and money to keep out of jail for most crimes.
      If a poor person parks in the wrong place, they get fined $1,000, so they won't do it; a rich person, who can afford it, thinks "So it costs $1,000 to park here."

It’s a contradiction to say you can only act during immediate danger and then say you can’t give cpr first aid which almost certainly falls under the conditions of immediate danger. If your company trained you in first aid cpr then you have a duty to use it. There are state local laws in place and you should educate yourself before you find yourself in a bad place: I believe this guy should have done cpr/first aid but did not due to his experience in the military and belief that the woman would die either way. We should all understand that if we are first on scene to a murder we will be a likely suspect. Put it like this , even if you did shoot someone out of self defense go ahead and administer cpr first aid… you aren’t doing it for them, your doing it for you.

    That security guard Ray should sue the local government for his lost years and their stupidity. Idiot detectives, idiot district attorneys. (No gunshot residue on unarmed Ray's hands, arms and uniform! Someone else's DNA under the girl's fingernails?! Unbelievable ineptitude.) He and his family need to be reimbursed for them taking 12 years of his life on this case. This infuriates me. THANK GOD for the new lawyer and his vigilant son! They give me a glimmer of hope for the justice system.
    This show dropped the ball on this one, because after they show Ray is acquitted, they STILL connote that he might be guilty, just to make the story interesting. This was written very poorly and irresponsibly. They owe him an apology for this segment in my opinion.
    Lastly, as tragic as this was for the murder victim and her family, the father gets little sympathy from me. He would actually see this Ray go to prison, destroying his life, his fiance and his 5 children's lives. All to make him feel good. Mentioning that Ray only made minimum wage was rude, unnecessary and very telling of his classism.
    Ray served his country in the military and is a war veteran and busted his ass in an evening job to make money for his family. There is NO evidence Ray the security guard committed this crime. None. The burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove his guilt. They failed. Sue them!

      Yeah, that comment about his guilt simply because he was a "minimum wage" security guard is beyond idiotic. Most people don't even get the salary they deserve, and your salary does not reflect your life's experience, education, level of knowledge or interest. It is heart breaking to think this man who served his country, was a security guard and was willing to put his life on the line, and had 5 kids relying on him was falsely imprisoned based on ridiculous presumptions and lost 11 years in addition to his reputation, ability to get another job, etc. So much damage to a family because of lazy cops. The story made me angry at their stupidity. People need to make sure others are aware that their photos have been taken and uploaded to someone that will take the appropriate action if anything nefarious occurrs. Not only take their photo but photo their ID, no ID then no test drive. NTM who the heck does a test drive at night? Tim and his wife did not use any common-sense and they both paid for it.
      This is as stupid as getting in a ride-share vehicle or taxi without taking a photo of the vehicle's license plate and telling the driver what you have done. I am a man and have had a taxi driver in Rio de Janeiro refuse to take me after I have done this. That tells me all I needed to know about him.

It's absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking that the very country and police he has fought to protect have completely failed him. He is trained military for God's sake! Everyone involved in his arrest and conviction is a joke and should spend the rest of their lives unable to have disturbed sleep. The only part about this WHOLE case, is HIM being charged prosecuted and sent to prison. Ppl get shot over absolutely nothing everyday. I was married to a Nam Vet that was able to gather detailed information in seconds, just like Mr. Jennings. It was instant life or death for combat Vets. They gathered detailed information in seconds in order to stay alive just like Mr. Jennings did that night.
    My husband’s ability to size up situations and gather details instantly was now a part of him even after he came home. He saw things I never paid any attention to. I was always amazed by this ability.
    It’s sad that the police department, his attorney, the public, or other Vets did not come to bat for Mr. Jennings early on. When I heard him give the details that he did to the police and then what he said in court about being an innocent man, I heard a military man giving incredible details and a totally innocent man stating that he was going to prison the innocent man that he is. No question.
    The victim’s father is angry, grieving and probably blames himself for having not been there to help his precious daughter. Grieving takes time. I hope he is also able to forgive himself for blaming Mr. Jennings in the future.

      People should understand that it is VERY IMPORTANT to get a good attorney.
      Look at OJ Simpson: Free from murdering his ex and her friend at the doorsteps of her house just because a shrinked glove didn't fit his hand - or so he clamed.
      Public oppinion pressuring the media of his innocence. Why? Because he was a black guy. Therefore he was being persecuted for his color.
      Years go by and probably many have realized the book he wanted to publish "IF I did it", didn't needed the IF on it.
      The true injustice of this case was and still is to NICOLE, a victim of OJ's domestic violance during her marrage to him that finally had break away and her FRIEND, got brutally murdered and that got almost forgotten. It was all about freeing or not freeing OJ. So this narcisist continued to steal the spotlight.
