Watching the video over again one year later. Amazing jumps that Scorpion really handles well. Im looking at getting one before Kyosho cuts production.
Wow! Very nice, the beach is the perfect place to run the Scorpion just like the old school Sand Rails at Pismo Beach Ca. Quality filming, can be used as Kyosho's promo vid. 👍👍
This video is awesome, btw. Great slow motion, great jumps Love watching that suspension work. The 3:00 point is my favorite as those tires spin and it takes off.
Kyosho finally got the Turbo Scorpion back in stock! Just ordered it to pair with my re re Javelin. Awesome video! I'm going with a 4000kv Spektrum Firma.
Ah nice! I would love to add a Javelin to the collection. The firma will be a perfect combo for your scorpion, these buggies are somehow built perfectly to handle big brushless power.
Cool video. The car and that beach were perfect together. That’s sand was just right to run on. How much sand was in all the nook and cranny of the car. I took my rustler to the beach on paddle tires had to replace every bearing in a week ugh
There's always a ton of sand in my buggies after a beach run. I run bushings in most of my Tamiya kits (they come that way), but the Scorpion has bearings. If you watch to the very end of the vid, you'll see I wash my buggies with fresh water after a beach run then I hit them hard with WD-40. No rust! 🤙
@@poorboysrc when I saw the fresh water part that’s what made me think of mine. Did the water but still had to replace them. But I still thought is was a cool video
Hey my friend brought to my attention you reached 1000+ subs. I’m sorry I didn’t see this.Congratulations Bro this is Amazing. I’m so Happy for You Man. What an exciting milestone. You deserve it for all your hard work. Love You Bro
Awe Man your Footage is bringing tears to my eyes Bro. What a great speed to capture its greatness. Good good music too. Thanks for that refreshing view in the background. This was a nice little break between AC service calls in AZ 115 degrees. I just wanted to jump into the video.
Great buggy, superb beach location and excellent filming. You got quite a bit of air with those jumps! These buggies are so much more interesting than many of the modern offerings. I am tempted to get an old school Kyosho buggy myself. Which one do you think offers the best scale realism?
Thanks so much, my friend! I couldn't agree more, the old school buggies have a lot more character than many modern choices. Turbo Optima is a gorgeous buggy! If you can find one, dive on it! It would look amazing tearing up the beach! 👊
After the Pumpkin wheelbase video, I had to sub and check the channel..... this was the first thing I saw.... Been drooling over the Kyosho ReRe kits... really hope to get an Ultima, but the Turbo Scorpion and Turbo Optima Gold are also super sweet.... too bad they're they're such limited supply. Also hoping to get the Optuma Mid coming very soon... Is that Haystack Rock I see out in the water there?
The rere Kyoshos are absolutely gorgeous! I've got my eyes set on an Optima Mid! If you pick one up you will not be disappointed! And I believe that rock is called Meteor Rock. It's in Tofino, B.C.👊
Wow awesome running footage, thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed the video! 👊

Thanks for watching it again pal! This is one of my fav's, the Kyosho just absolutely rocks on the big beaches! You're gonna love it! 👊
Very nice filming, what a fun little buggy in the perfect setting! Thanks!
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it!
Like the way you clean your rcs, as long as you use cold water as hot water reacts with the salt and makes it worse.
Always lots of fresh, cold water. Then a WD40 bath usually follows. 👊🏼
Awesome video. Looks like alot of fun
Thanks man! Yeah it was a great day for sure! Headed back there again soon to film again. 🍻

I save the Scorpion for these trips, I just love the way it works on the large beach. Thanks for the kind words, it means a ton! 🤙
What a buggy!! Look at the way it lands those jumps! Great footage man 🙌🏻
Thanks brother! This buggy is such a dream to drive, it handles the big beaches perfectly! ⛱

Thanks brother! I save the Turbo Scorpion for that specific beach, it's so long and wide open, it's perfect!
Great filming! These buggies are proper lookers! Shocks look to be set up well.
Thank you sir! It was interesting getting some of the shots, lots of sand involved! 🤣
@@poorboysrc They shots were well worth it. Really engaging. Love a good running video 👍🏼
@@DustyFingersRC glad you enjoyed it, my friend! 👊
Now I want to go to Tofino. Maybe I’ll bring an RC too
The Bandit will LOVE Long Beach! 👌
beautiful video!
Thank you sir! 😊
Jesus! That buggy got wings!
Yeah dude, she spent a lot of time up in the air! The 6900kv Castle motor really gets her going! 😎
Excellent!!! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! 🤙
Thata one sexy buggy!
It sure is, Matt! Fun as heck out on the beach, too! Thanks again for watching! 👊

@@poorboysrc I know the Javelin and Optima are the same car, I just prefer a cage over a body! I love building these things.
@@PsychoticBovine they're awesome fun to build! The old Kyosho's are especially awesome with all the metal parts and silky smooth shocks. 😎
Awesome video this should have way more views!
Thanks bro! 👊

Thanks pal!
Great video, loved the jumps. 👍
Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🤙
Great cuts on the beach! Thought for sure you'd catch it mid air!
Have not been out there since 1978-79, really need to get out there one day.
It's still my favorite spot. I'm planning to go back next week and film, film, film!!!
What a great location my friend, truly an iconic vehicle!
I was hoping you'd catch this one, Gabriel! I know you're a huge fan of this buggy, hope you liked the vid! 🤙
Awesome
Thanks Tommy!

Thans so much, dude! Yeah I'm pretty stoked, took a lot of work to break 1000, that's for sure! Appreciate you and your pal's support! Love ya man! 👊
Great video bro 👍💪😃
Thanks pal! 🤙
I have one on preorder, been waiting for months for them to come back in stock.
It would be great to see more of the vintage Kyosho kits come out again, they're beautiful buggies!
@@poorboysrc Yeah I agree, I just got a Mad van ve the other day, its hilarious on 3s. The body is too nice though to even bash around.
@@steelcityrc133 I almost bought one last year, looks like a cool rig! I'd imagine it's nuts on 3S!
Nice vid! Is that for Kyosho advertisement?! 👍🏻😁👍🏻
Haha, perhaps I'll send Kyosho a link to the video and see if they want to use any of the footage, wouldn't that be cool!
