Funny you should mention Ale at the end of this video and how she hold the band together. Dany it the brilliant light that shines and warms over the crowd, Pau is the nuclear reactor that energizes the whole building and Ale is the shy, awkward covalent bond that hold them all together with her rock solid time and undeniable groove.

This song is originally sung by Dany. It was just during this performance there was a problem in the beginning and Dany stepped away, and Pau took over. There have been many times where this happens, they're always ready to improvise! Then once Dany got it back together she sung it like normal. One really cool moment in another performance of an older song Dany had dropped her guitar pick and mid-singing had to turn to grab another to get ready for a solo. Pau noticed this and INSTANTLY started singing (a song she normally doesn't sing) it is like they are telepathically connected, a perk of being sisters! But yes back to the original question, this is a Dany lead song lol.

The girls had trouble writing this song. As a matter of fact some of the lines they wrote for this song but didn’t fit turned into two other songs on this LP. Their dad would tell them it was time to work on this song again and all 3 of the girls would say “UGHHHH “. That’s is how it got its name.

It's the other way around, Dany was having technical difficulties, which she indicated by backing away from the microphone, which is why a few seconds later Pau took over the vocals, until Dany went back to the microphone and took back the vocals. They have mentioned in streams that they have signals and are prepared to take over for each other and also with their tech to signal issues. It is still difficult to remember that even though these girls are still young, they had 6 years of experience, at this point, with dozens of shows, including opening for the Killers, Def Leppard & Strypers, so they were already seasoned performers.

Nevertheless, in the process of struggling with it they came up with two other songs for the album as well: _One_ and _The Sacrifice._ The creative energy these girls produce when they get together to write songs is amazing to me. Wave, just a little FYI. On this album Pau sings lead on two songs: Dust to Dust and The End. She also has a small lead part in Sinister Smiles. Basically, this album takes place in the mind of the main character (The Queen). Her good side is portrayed by Pau and her inner demon side is portrayed by Dany. In Sinister Smiles her two sides compete, thus both sing lead parts. So, every other song is normally sung by Dany. If Dany is not feeling well for a live show, Ale or Pau will take the lead on a few songs to help Dany.
This song was the hardest song for them to finish on this album! They would start it then stop it and start again. This song originally had a different name to it and the girls were gonna give up on finishing it but there dad insisted they finish it as he played what they had done already to his friends and they all loved it. When dad insisted it get finished Pau said Ugh and that is what the songs name was changed to. After they finally finished the whole song they found out that it was there favorite song to play live because it has so much energy to it and the fans in the crowd got so into it!

Hey Wave, great reaction. Actually Dany, alone sings lead, on the album and live. She had difficulty at the beginning at the Whiskey, so Pau just filled in. Watch the Lunario version. I think it is better. The first time I heard this song it was instantly in my top 5 Warning songs, and still is. The title "UGH" came about because it was so hard for them to write and finish. Early versions of the song became the basis for two other songs on the album, "The One" and "The Sacrifice". You can hear similarities between the three. The badassery of all three is on full display in this song. Pau's drumming is powerful. Ale's bass sets the tone so well. Dany's vocals are great and those SAVAGE riffs!!! Such amazing lyrics and songwriting on display!! Future Legends!
I agree, Lunario all the way! It's their live debut of the entire album, and has a special energy attached to it for that reason. As far as I am concerned, it is the definitive QOTMS concert.
Both studio and the live version are awesome, I personally love their Foro Didi show for this song. Their version of "Atlas Rise" done here was amazing. On this song, Dany is the lead singer, Dany did have an issue so Pau jumped in.

Dany sings this song. Like others have said, there was a problem with a wrong verse, Dany stepped away and Paulina came in. If you are going to react and review all the QOTMS album, you should go back to the Lunario concert. That is where they first presented and played the whole album after it was released. There are a few better performances of some songs on that show.

My favorite performances of these songs is the Lunario concert. It was the concert where the ladies debuted the entire album so their energy is especially high, the lighting was cool, and they had the graphics behind Pau that accompany the songs.

Muse was a band their Dad liked and played around the house all the time. So yeah, they grew up with it and one of their first covers was Hysteria by Muse.
Hey WP! Great reaction and analysis! It may just a personal preference, but my favorite performance of this masterpiece was their first one, at Lunario two years earlier. At that time, Dany had a black Manson guitar she used in many of the songs and solos. The sound was magnificent! And the band was on fire!

The title Ugh has a back story, the girls explain it in vlog. It was from the frustration of trying to complete the song. LoL!!! Hint Dany sings clean with little rasp or vocal fry, Pau sings with more rasp and vocal fry. Once you her them talk a bit more you will definitely be able to tell them apart. I know this performance is more recent but I honestly feel like the Lunario feed is probably the best live performance of them with close to no issues
