A girl is in love with someone who doesn't even know she exists. In Ugh, the obsession is clearly growing and is consuming her. She is afraid of what she is becoming. She doesn’t want it to be that way, she wants it to be simple (“I don’t want to understand, I just want to hold your hand”). She asks to be saved and feels that she is sinking down into a trap. She doesn't know it at this point, and doesn't intend it, but there will soon be blood on her hands.

Oh - speaking of how Dany and Ale are synched with their guitar parts- a good part of that is because Dany is single picking the notes and not doing a lot of power chords.

This song is called “Ugh” because they had trouble finishing it. Their dad had to encourage them to do so. Two other songs came out from the effort: The One and The Sacrifice. This is part of the Queen of the Murder Scene rock novel where the queen is getting obsessed with someone who doesn’t know she exists.

I would really like to hear some of the songs from Escape the Mind in their grown up voices. There are songs back then that didn't get nearly the recognition that the songwriting deserved. It even had their "country" song Eternal Love but Pau at the piano doing Escape the Mind at their school will always be special to me.

Try not to have your mind blown when you listen to their 1st EP. Ale wrote one of the songs on it by herself. The Warning Army had some disagreement if she was 9 or 10 at the time. I was in a live chat with the girls and I asked her. She said they were all wrong. She was actually 8 when she wrote it.

Dany also uses a harmonizer which gives her a tone thats an octave lower to what she is playing. Dany has already dropped the explorer. Its got a pretty big ding on the end of the body.

Dane, you have to remember that QOTMS is a concept album with each song telling a part of the story. In my opinion one of the best concept albums of all time. So even though you've heard some of the songs, its important that when you're ready, that you listen/react to each song in order so you get the full understanding of whats going on in the story. Plus the lunario concert where they presented QOTMS is a must watch. Enjoyed the reaction. Much rather have someone mess up and admit it and correct the mistake, than fake their way through everything. You're just being you and that's whats important. glad you didn't edit.

Their first album is XXI Century Blood (with songs like XXICB, Copper Bullets, Survive, Unmendable, When I´m alone, Wildfire, Exterminated, Runaway, Black Holes, Show me the Ligth, Shattered Heart, River Soul, Our Mistakes.

when (not if 😜) you do QOTMS from beginning to end (and maybe reading along with Timberwolf's google doc) you'll understand a little more what the songs you've heard from that album mean in the story... *Ugh* is one of those...
QOTMS starts with a "preamble song" *Dust to Dust*... it invites you in to hear the rest of the story and how things can go so wrong so quickly... the rest of the album is broken into 4 chapters of 3 songs each... Pau and Dany play parts of the main character... Pau is like the angel/good side while Dany is the devil/dark side... there is another character introduced later in the album that Dany also does... personally, i kinda wish that Ale did it (more often?) since she is also present and the character is pretty deep and dark like her bass lines... we'll take'em when we get'em, right? LOL
you could do the whole album in one fell swoop... about an hour IIRC... or in chapters, 3 songs each, or singles and keeping up with where you are in the story... either way, you know TWA will be here for it however you decide to do it 😹

You actually can see a rare treat if you look up their recent Toronto concert. Ale sang lead on Hunter and another song(forgot which one). Dany wasn't feeling 100 %, so had to get Ale to take over for a couple of songs! Very rare sighting! 😂 ⚡️⚡️⚡️🔥🔥🔥🤟
For me, Ugh is the most underrated song of QOTMS. Love it! Lots of TW to enjoy. With them headed back to the studio, more goodness will be coming…! 🤘🔥#NumberlyGarfs

As has been said, Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album. It all tells a story. Ugh only being one of them. To get how it all falls in line and it's meaning, you need to listen in order. You should do a reaction to the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album. Or better yet, A reaction to the concert from Lunario
Yeah and now that I am through this, I am going back and listening to it straight through!! I can not wait! Time to dive deeper down this hole. (Yeah I'll check this out as well, I have had a few requests for this now)

One of my favorites. It drives so hard, and amazing that it almost never was finished.
I really love the lower octave that Ale sings underneath Dany. These little vocal additions really help to give such a full sound to their voices. They do a lot of sprinkling in of these just when they are needed. Not all the time. Really makes my ears perk up. Such good writing and performing.
I heard the story of why it was names UGH! Amazing. I point out in the next video their duet singing, sometime Pau over powers Dany, sometimes she compliments her. I love it ALL!
You should do the QOTMS songs from the Lunario concert, get the whole thing in context.
