7 months ago you made a video on the womier SK-71 and i want to know if you took the foam off
it had a tape mod
Yes! Full video please! Thanks for providing so much content and information for those of us who are new. There’s so many options, it can be a bit confusing. The way you explain things really makes things fun. Yes. FUN!
I hearby support this scince i just bought a Keychron K13 MAX and am lost on how to mod the keycaps & switches
I Love your knob Hipyo it has such a perfect shape and it feels great rolling it back and forth.
Bro! In the UK, we grab our knobs several times a day, every day, otherwise we would get nowhere
... door knobs!
WHST
wait, what?
Already bought my new mechanical (keychron Q65 Max, with LOTR keycaps and some sweet sweet hipyo suggested mods lol) so I'm literally here for Nola content because that biting kitty is so awesome. Thanks for all the great content...it really has helped.
Hey Hipyo, your spray paint job... is quite an admirable effort. Thanks for the fun videos!
I found out this morning that I enjoy playing your keyboard vids while working lol appreciate what a big difference some small mods make! A nice gateway to the keyboard journey :D
ive had a lot of keyboards in my life and the wooting is definetly up there. its one of the best sounding and feeling keyboard ive ever had straight out of the box. nothings pinging, nothing ratteling, nothings hollow and its a little thocky. Then again all of this is personal preference
I love your knob Hipyo, very good job on having a knob Hipyo
Great video Hipyo!
It shocks me that more companies don't make heavy tactile switches when you look at how viral the Holy Panda switches went, or the Boba U4T, or even the Akko Cream Blue / lavender purple switches...
The Azoth is what got me into this hobby, I was ready to mod it before it even arrived... So over the last 18 months since then I have built probably 9 or 10 custom keyboards, my latest being a QK75n which I'm loving BTW... it has a knob :) one of my son's though is still using the Azoth which is great board IMHO, our has had pretty much constant use since Jan 2023 and never missed a beat. Recently he wanted a heavier switch I swapped the WS Morandi which had been in it since last Aug to WS Heavy tactile and it definitely thocks!
pls do a full video on the Falchion low profile! I’ve heard how the linear switches sound and I thought it was great! I’ve seen its features too, and am thinking of getting it as an awesome on the go keyboard for college and a bit of gaming.
You always do a really good job with these. I want to try some new switches this weekend!
you are like the gollum of keyboards!!!😝 thanks for the video.
Your the best Hipyo!
Those snow switches sound so good!
The Super Loobed Storms do sound deeper, I like it very much even with the obnoxious click. The Azoth really looks good, love the aluminum top. But you're right, WAY to expensive for what you get. Thanks for helping me get into this hobby, I always look forward to your vids!!
Waiting for Hipyo's take on Logitech's Pro X 60 😅.
Saving a bucket of popcorn just for that 😁
well that wont happen 😂
update guys its happening
I love your knob Hipyo, very good job on having a knob
Did the super lube on Cherry MX Browns. I cannot believe how big of a difference it made. Thanks Hipyo!
Have you considered doing a review on leverless/hitbox controllers for fighting games?
All the other reviews so far never go into detail when it comes to their switches.
I took an old Vengeance K70 and did what I could without desoldering the switches. I honestly love it. Aluminum top, I like Brown switches, lazy lubed them, put electrical tape on the PCB, got some pretty decent PBT caps off Ali... I prefer a 100% board, having the volume slider is a thing I like and I don't mind static lighting/non-RGB. The blue is subtle. Considering I got the board as a gift and the whole thing cost me $30. It was a good learing experience before going into building my own and saved me the $$$ for rn. I have a type test of it on my channel. For $30 🤷
Honestly you did it alot better than i could have!
Good job hippo electronics. Also I have those keycaps!
i was looking for a new full sized keyboard with a keypad that is hot swappable to so i can make it sound super quiet as i work in office. so your videos are very helpful i am nervous about even trying to hot swap
Just upgraded from a Keychron K2 to a Q5 Max....oh sweet jesus this is a heavy and wonderful sounding keyboard out of the box. Loving the Gateron Jupitor switches too :)
Just commenting to say love your videos! I probably won’t ever get one but being a key board nerd is soo fun!!!
Let’s go!!! New video! Btw should I get the rainy 75?
I got these in my feed late night this went over my head. But was still funny.
I love your knob Hipyo, very good job on having a great knob Hipyo
Another great video!
Can you do a video on the ProtoArc Royalaxe collab keyboards?
Laptop keyboards suck; I wish I could actually afford these, like my space bar only works on one side and it's really annoying. The only problem with proper keyboards is that the space bar becomes a seesaw when it gets too old.
I just like the sound and feel of the old IBM Model F (and later model M keyboards) from the 1980's. They were definitely clickety keyboards and felt great for programming.
Hi hipyo i was wondering how i can mod my apex pro tkl keyboard to make it sound better. Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated keep up the good work.
13:05 after switching from a couple gaming brand keyboard to finally getting the Akko HE keyboard (YotD) I can say that Hall effect absolutely doesn’t make you better, but it does feel a lot better to type on AND sound a lot better. From what I heard the switch Akko uses for their HE boards also sound and feel better than the wooting switches.
rapid trigger did make me magically better lol, it's different per person for sure. just got my q1 he as well so I can have wireless which is darn good. 60he on a display stand now.
Please do a full review of the falchion rx. Can’t convince myself to buy it unless watch your video.
I like the glarses transitions!
Hedy Hipyo, I absolutely enjoy your videos.
I have an Asus ROG Claymore II with RX Red optical switches and want to know if I can work with any mods on this keyboard to just experiment with it and also are there any keycaps that can fit this switch (I couldn't really find any, anywhere really).
next, he's gonna do thocky, clicky, creamy, linear, tactile, quiet and loud keyboard all in one with the BNR knob
I'm in the clicky camp. Most of the time, I can't tell the difference in your before and after sound tests, but I still enjoy your videos.
just got the azoth last night, gonna pair it up with white cerakey keycaps. this vid might've just been the confirmation bias i need lol
I suspect the reason for the persistent plastic bottom case is to ensure wireless performance. I know some customs are all aluminium and have wireless but plastic probably helps ensure reliability.
I've watched so many of your videos lately that I hear "Howdy hey, I'm Hipyo Tech" in the silence of my room sometimes... On another note though, thanks for making this stuff! It's super helpful!
@HipyoTech if i wanted to swap the NX Snow switches out what would be a good option? I do game quite often but also use the same board for work and some typing. Just seeing what might be a really good switch. I trust your opinion over most.
Please do a full video on the Falchion RX low profile as I have been debating buying one to replace my RK61 I use for my ROG Ally
Hey Hipyo Tech, I would love to see you do a review on the Tecware Phantom / Tecware phantom Elite. It would be interesting to see your thoughts on the keyboard.
i waited this vidéo for soo long
used mx storm on scope II, i like the typing experience minus the sound
change to akko purple after a week, then found ez way to lube
later will try !
Links for the keycaps please, great video
Hey! Any plans on checking out the new CIDOO ABM081 Stellar ? id love to see both the prebuilt option and your preferred build with it. Thanks in Advance
Hipyo should make a video on the neo 65. I think it's a great budget board and would like to hear his opinion on it.
You are the best youtuber ever. Thank you so much. I don't have much money so your videos are really helpful.
You should review the Polar 65 rapid trigger custom keyboard!
Nice vid mate
Have you reviewed any DrunkDeer keyboard models? They look great for the price and got rapid triggers.
what stabilizers should I get for the Strix Scope II if I were to switch them out ?
I want to see your thoughts on the EVGA Z15 with either Speed silver or bronze.
I would love more low pro keeb reviews
Tbh I was really struggling when I choose zoom75 over azoth as I am very used to gamer keyboards , but I happy I made the switch never been more happier
Yes Hipyo PLEASE do a video on the ROG Low profile keyboard
Hipyo can you please review the magegee star75, I subscribed already and I love ur videos a lot!! Can you also try to mod it using tape and etc with akko v3 cream yellow pro switches and your preferred keycaps!
I was gifted a Logitech Pro X 60 - I actually like the size and the functions it has. However, I'm curious to try some different switches and keycaps. What do you think would be a good fit?
Hipyo is goated
Yes please on the Falchion video!
It's always a good video when Hipyo Tech gets carried away playing with knobs.
I would like to see a video of the Falchion RX Low Profile
I LOVE YOU HIPEO TECH
0:34 That plant pot is adorable!!
I'm american but live in the U.K. I love your knob Hipyo very good job on having a knob Hipyo.
Hipyo, i have a question - are Outemu Silent Yellow switches any good? im planning to change my outemu red for lighter and more silent switches as a test. Im not planning to lube anything (im lazy af) and i just want to try other switches for gaming. All my life i was using blue, clicky switches, but after i got a new, hotswappable red switch keyboard (Thor 303 TKL), now i know that there are a lot of better options, but which are worth it idk, because of how small knowledge about keyboards i have.
Can you review Wooting 80HE? when it comes out please. thanks mate
I wouldn't mind a quick review of the Low Profile keyboard since I'm in the market for once. I've been wanting a low profile keyboard since my K8 has so much travel time for each key press. It's also very tall. I can't make up my mind between the LoFree Flow and the Nufy Air75. I like the Air 75 because of the wireless performance. Maybe the Asus would be worth it?
You should try the "RK ROYAL KLUDGE S98"
Is the scope 2 wired as well built as the wireless version ? How about sound, any differences ?
You should review/ mod the Kraken Pro 60, one of the most common amazon keyboards. $120. With gateron silvers
I'm just getting into keyboards but I've been buying them all prebuilt and budget priced compared to enthusiast priced. Started with a Corsair K100 with the wheel and I like the customizable RGB and the pudding caps I put on but it sounds like crap compared to the ones you build. Recently I bought the Royal Kludge S98 with Lilac switches and it sounds great with thocky linear switches and caps. That was a budget board but I loved it. I'd like to buy the ROG Azoth gun metal black with snow switches next. I'm wondering of you could show a video on how to take it apart step by step so I don't break it and show how to make them thock like you did here but actually do a step by step tutorial on how to do it. Key caps are pretty straight forward but what would be some nice ones that go with black to make the Azoth thock with snow switches after I mod the inside?
As a primarily laptop user, I'd love a video about modding a low-profile keyboard. High mech keyboards don't feel familiar enough so low-profile feels so much better. I guess it may be a gateway keyboard, but still.
you are my favorite keyboard youtuber
Yes please Falchion full video asap, no more north lights. I have modded my Strix scope 2, it now charges wireless.😂
As a person who daily drives a Logitech G915 TKL, I would love to see more low profile content. I just wish there was more customization options in the low profile space, because it’s def something I would want to get into.
Man is it just me or does Hipyo do the same video title every time it’s like a routine (and i love it!!!)
What do you prefer the summit 2.0 barebone kit from highground or the tofu65 2.0 with polycarbonate plate and flexcut pcb
Please test the Logi Mx Mechanical!!! I really wanna see a video on it :)
If only these cool looking keyboards weren't so expensive, I would love to own one of these, someday.
I thought clicky and thocky were opposites. I need Hipyo to release a video on what Thocky actually means to him because he uses it no matter what the context is.
i love you hipyo best youtuber
Just a thought, but have you ever tried filling keycaps with resin or silicone to change the sound?🤔
Do a review of that new Keychrone Lemokey L1 - with the nice rotary knob (hehehe) on the left. PLz, thank you.
You should check out kailh box white v2's, clickbar is so much nicer than jackets plus the box whites have a pom stem
Hey, can you review the Steel series Apex Pro, either mini or full size. Full size has a screen on it like the asus
Asus 2023 2024 glow up is incredible really. A giant leap from the Claymore 2, which i which they'd make a 3.
I love your videos and that's why I started modding my keyboards.
Could you help me find a keyboard that has a special catch?
More and more companies are banning programmable keyboards for security reasons.
However, I'm looking for a good keyboard (possibly with a numpad) that has an aluminum case, hot swap, and lighting (monochrome or RGB) but has not programmable/accessible chips in it.
Hi I know your a keyboard youtuber but Can you tell me what setup you use like what gpu and cpu?
I wish they sold the NX switches separately. I haven’t been able to find the Storm anywhere but I’d like to try them with out committing to a $250 board
i cant stop watching keyboard vids now bc i hate mine and want to custom one but im lazy at the same time idek if mine could come apart it came with my prebuilt PC
Only if it is a mechanical keyboard. It's probably not one if it came with the PC but you can buy a starter one for a very good price.
Take a look at Royal Kludge keyboards. They don't cost too much as far as custom keyboards are concerned but they offer everything you should expect from a customizable keyboard. You can replace keycaps and switches very easily but also the default ones those keyboards usually come with are pretty good. Basically you can customize them as much or as little as you want.
What if you used abs sa profile on them? Wouldn’t it be even more thocky on the storm switches?
I got an amber alert in the middle of this video and it scared the crap out of me. It was during one of your sound tests too 😂
There is a slight difference of the before and after at the end. I can only tell though because of the stereo I'm using for the audio though.
