I'm not a watch knob and neither are you? I own a 1996,,,,, 121.5 Breitling EMergency since 1998. I'm also the unlucky victim of a robbery; robbing my cellphone, wallet, Breitling watch and some of my dignity and health. It took months for me to recover and I'm still going 4 some hospital appointments to date. So,,,,, a good watch can take a life as much as it could save one......RE
I have one. Completely satisfied with the purchase. I do wear it in business as a fantastic topic of conversation. Nice piece to add to any collection. Excellent video.
Actually $11,163.00. Purchased as used in mint condition. Worn maybe 4-5 times. Came with the factory stickers still on the face and fold clasp. I really got lucky. Breitling Emergency Mission with orange strap. I typically wear the larger Breitling pieces for all occasions. I am 6'5" so I hope I can get a little relief on how big the 51mm appears on me. Excellent video !
I have owned an emergency 1 and now an emergency 2. I almost used the emergency 1 in a mtn rescue situation of an 84yo man. We were getting ready to deploy the antenna when rescue personnel showed up.
I think this is your best quality video to date - very slick snob! 👏 I see this as not an everyday wear watch, but one for dangerous expeditions or such!
Long ,loved these but the older (smaller) ones on a bracelet with the yellow or orange face, the . I know someone who pulled it "by mistake" while skiing and his bill was a mere £15000😁But they did give him a lift down the mountain in a Helicopter, straight to the cashpoint I imagine. Great vid, I too have a silly survival watch, int's on my instao, the Polimaster PM 1208 gieger counter Spetsnatz issued dual time, 10 bar WR spaceship of a thing.
To date I'm just looking for an Emergency Dual Frequency and a co-pilot module with it. I'm looking to replace my watch probably around $17 000... I like the one you just advertised. It should however have the co-pilot as well....RE
This Breitling Emergency could not be made smaller because of the essential components inside. OK it's heavy, but I owe my life _twice_ to mine. I've been in the UK armed forces 30 years, owned this one for 6 years and a previous Breitling in 1996. They are regularly serviced and maintained. It has to be massive because of its build quality. They are very expensive, but what price is one's saved life? I owe everything to mine. Great video - many thanks!
@@NotAWatchSnob I was in the Nevada Desert when my SUV stopped. There was no way I could get it to start. I deployed my Breitling and attached the watch to a high point on the SUV's roof, using a pole that I strapped to the roof rack's cage. The emergency service arrived within 20 minutes. ...The desert's heat would have killed us as we were stranded miles from anywhere. ...The 2nd time is classified, the reason being I was on active service in Royal Navy warship situated in a sensitive area. Thank you for your interest.

That watch looks amazing 🤩 wow thanks for sharing billie
Very cool
Big but as a survival tool I think it's reasonable. Definitely not designed to be worn as a desk-diver. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks and I guess but 10k gggeeeesh
Good video Bill! That personal locator thing is so cool and this watch is crazy tough but like you said it’s massive!!!
Right way too big!

Whew, that's a BIG BOY!
The question is how do you charge the battery?
You don't just replace it
@@NotAWatchSnob but you see some for sale and it shows and says comes with charger. I'm confused
