@@henrybrant-z4l Yepper. That's what kinda bummed me out, until a bit of Easy Action led to "Eighteen" and four straight great albums. We were only 13-14 yrs old but loved music coming from across the river in Motown.
@@TheTussman similar here, I was part of a weird crowd of 12 year olds into AC. A few of the boys were cross dressing - which scared me - and the coolest girl brought a dummy head with a knife in it titled "Mother" to class. I never thought AC were gay at all, but I liked the confusion they created around that. We were little goths on Schwinn stingrays. ha.
What a great video! I saw the Alice Cooper Band play a free gig for the Medicine Ball Caravan Tour (1970, I think) on the mall between the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Monument. The show was pre-snake and less sophisticated as Alice was just beginning to hone the theatrics but was mesmerizing just the same. "Black Ju-Ju" was amazing as we were hypnotized with swinging gold watch and feather pillow broken open as the song ended. This was before "I'm Eighteen" was released.
The band is definitely the real deal here. But for me Alice Cooper is always the real deal always no matter which era. Having him sober is the reason his still with us today.
Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Nearly everyone here in the Uk (including me) thought that The Old Grey Whistle Test was always performed live, but sometimes it was just live vocals.
I have never seen this clip before!!!
Hairs on my arms stood up!!!❤❤❤❤
Might be my favorite Alice Cooper song. I remember rocking out to this when I was a little boy and everytime I hear it I get those same feelings
Same. I was born in 1965 so this and few others from this era bring back memories lol.
I had this 45. This was the B side to Eighteen!
This was and still is a great song.
We're you alive when song was brand new ?
@@ozzymd1 Yes. I was 16 when Love it to Death was released.
I was 8 and have older brothers into music !
It's a time I will never forget ! ' 70 ' music is the best !
Peace out brother 😁
What a gem! Only two years before this they played my highschool, in the gym lol.
oh wow. Were they more psychedelic when you saw them? I saw the tour shown in this video in NYC.

Alice Cooper is among the greatest songwriters of the century.

Fantastic post.
He was really ahead of his time!
Thank you.
Love ❤️
That snake is just enjoying being in the video and chilling
Love Alice
Classic
In my opinion, the 70's or the "junkie" Alice Cooper is THE (REAL) ALICE COOPER!
He was just alcoholic, then, not a junkie.
The difference is THE BAND. ✊❤️
Just a drunk. Not a junkie.
Alcohol not dope you dope
The band is definitely the real deal here. But for me Alice Cooper is always the real deal always no matter which era. Having him sober is the reason his still with us today.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Alice!
What ever it is......today aint got it no more
Backing tracks from the album, but live vocal from Alice.
I thought as much. It sounds exactly like the studio.

Simplesmente fodástico 2024
Have u got tha time to find out... Who i realy ahyamyam owoeowooo
"What have a got?" Gee Alice, I don't know. Looks like a snake? Great song. Remember when this first came out.
Snake craps on him

The snake you can see and the one you can’t see
Who needs a feather boa when you have a real one.
If only I had been born a few years earlier(I was born in 1967), I would've been in to AC at age 10 instead of Kiss. Too bad!
Alice Cooper actually looks quite sultry here
