Thanks. a few people have already made that video so I don’t think I will. The Surge is more capable but it needs to be paired w the detachable file and either a ratchet or regular bit extension.
@Kayakatools yes your right i use the leatherman surge with bit kits and ratchet driver love it use it all the time great multi tool also the super tool 300 is nice because it's all one tool know small bits to lose thanks
Yeah me too, I should have mentioned that actually. One of the reasons is the frame is bent to be rounded off, but in doing that the sides of the frame are not flat against the tools. The tools are easier to get out on the MP600 and the tightness is also easily adjusted. I had to get a special wrench to adjust and take apart the Rebar
Yeah buddy, since I'd be living in a hypothetical world anyways With my funds not set up for luxury items at the moment then all the things that are really important to me are on the center drive then I don't mind the weight and the bulk of it because it would actually help me from Losing it where it just falling out of my pocket and floating away
All waste of money. IMO. If you have low budget get those Chinese clones made by Great Star... Ozark Trail, Swisstech 18 in1, Bibury, Mossy Oak, Daicamping... You name it. If you want to invest in a definitive multitool you can count on that makes you happy each time and last forever with lifetime warranty get Victorinox Swisstool X plus ratchet 3.0339.L (and remember that bit ratchet in the leather sheath makes a lot of difference while fixing something: Accessibility in close quarters, Torque, Speed, One hand fastening on stairs, and works in opposition ... while pliers retains the nut the ratchet turn the bolt or the screw in or out and again ¼ works with whatever ¼ bit or socket adapter)
I love the Swisstools, I have an X, and Spirit MX. Buying a Chinese knockoff of an American or Swiss product is very unappealing to me. I bought these three on eBay for 50% of retail.
YASS every time you post i get so excited!!
I love my 600st, mine was issued years ago. There probably better MT, but I've used mine for so long I couldn't change.
5:46 so true 😂😂😂 the best thing to test can openers on is how well they score copper pipes
And the winner is....The Surge! 😂
Good video i would like to see the leatherman surge vs the super tool 300 i think it would make a good video thanks for sharing this with us 👍

@@LeathermanSurge-q6l I would have never guessed You would be a fan of the Leatherman surge( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)🤏🏼
All that polishing of the Rebar paid off! I bought a Knifeless rebar to be toolkit companion to a pocket folder. Very disappointed in how stiff it is.
