Leatherman Charge Tti
Love mine!
My God your thumb is so long it's freaky
I just use a zip tie
All trash. Leatherman is better.
True but Leatherman discontinued their Juice and squirt series, leaving only the Micra. There’s still a market for keychain and 3” tools
Wow, therapeutic.
I dont need one. But i def want one. But resellers are acting like its made of 14k gold
I feel ya, the Crunch is the only pair of locking pliers I own so it gets used, but a regular pair of vice grips would work just as well, Just nowhere near as cool or compact. Check around locally, some less-trafficked places still have them
Very nice work! 😎👍🏻
Nice vid. Weight in gramms would be helpful as well :)
I loved the creativity at the end: “subscribe”
You should sale those scales to the public. I would buy one for sure!
I should do that, I need to finish the shield logo, I’m considering using wood instead of brass to simplify the process
@@Kayakatools you do a fantastic job on them. Telling ya they would sell like hot cakes.
I have no use for pliers the size of the ones on the sog. Love my mini sailor
I like the mini sailor as well, I carry a Victorinox Signature lite for my mini tool.
I just ordered one, hopefully it turns out to be good
The Spirit package opener does work really good but I like the Leatherman Rev/Wingman package opener the best. The new Victorinox Companion has a very good package opener as well. I open alot of plastic packaging and I like changing up my multitool carry. If my plier multitool doesn't have a package opener, I carry my Victorinox Companion. They all make it so much easier and it's both safer for you and your item inside. I used to go slower with a knife, and I never damaged or cut myself, but with these, it's so much easier. As a whole, the Spirit X is the best multitool I own. My Rebar is my most used and my Rev is my most casual carry, since it's thin, lite, and has a solid pocket clip, but the tools are not the best, besides the package opener, which should be on other tools.
Mmmm, why?!
A few years ago, a customer of mine wanted me to build his iPod into his Swiss army knife, and I put it together with a wooden cover in such a way that it also functioned as a money clip, because I screwed and glued the part of the clip into the body.
An iPod in a SAK is crazy, that would be cool to see
Not sure if its the tool for me but i do really like the xzacto blade bit
Same
I think polywatch would work nicely without the need to use sandpaper
Very nice
this is awesome! I made a set of wooden ones but didn't think about doing 2 layers and cutting them out with my laser. Do you have a good place to source thin exotic wood like that?
Hey thanks, yep I got all the hardwoods from this website ocoochhardwoods.com/scroll-saw-lumber/ and the veneers I got in a pack from someone selling on Amazon
@@Kayakatools Awesome, just ordered some from them and mentioned your youtube channel in the comments section of the order. Maybe they'll throw you a discount on your next order or something! haha
That package opener was on a the Victorianox spirit?
Yes, it’s on the corner of the chisel, technically it’s for cutting wire laterally. There are two wire stripping notches below it as well.
SPLENDID MAESTRO
Gross..
I liked the part when you expanded the hole ;)
RIP Leatherman Crunch 😢 I hope that they are working on a new version of it.
Me too, although I kind of doubt it, most people aren’t looking for locking pliers, and the mechanism takes up space, maybe they will tho. I found mine in a small fishing store 2 months ago so there’re still a few out there!
Impressive!
There isn’t any thought about the SAK Felix Immler hasn’t had yet.
The package opener is good... that's it for the "pros" of the Wingman
Very excellent work, a lot of ideas and tips! Thank you for sharing! And as someone who enjoys tinkering for the sake of tinkering, One, is never enough...
Super Video!... Thank you very much for mention me!!
Hey Felix, I’m glad you liked it
I'm wondering if installing the thumb stud was worth doing...
Not really, I like the way it looks but it doesn’t stick out enough to use one handed, and it shortens the usability of the blade. I prefer my swisstool spirit MX clip though anyways
Beautifulwork mate
Sehr schöne Arbeiten. Grüsse aus der Schweiz 🇨🇭
that was a lot of work man :D But the result was satisfying. well done.
Good job
I like this but im curious. The leatherman bits are the reason i stopped bying leatherman. They are soft and don't work unless whatever is already loose. Have you tested these bits? I recently bought a bibury 19-1 multi tool for the first time in many years. Leatherman has lost it's way in my opinion. Any mechanic will tell you plyers should never be made of stainless.
I have not, I doubt they’re any better. I don’t have much experience w LM bits because I mainly carry my P4 or a swisstool spirit. I like the reach of a dedicated Philips
Pretty darn good. Thanks.
4:13 Клинок стал полтора сантиметра короче 👍...👎👎
You got me sold not because of the tool but because my mom confused your voice for mine. She thought i was talking to her.
just when you think of something, its already been thought of
I’m definitely gonna try this
Good ol boil n pop, works for toys too
Nice didn't know I needed this information but I'm happy I know now 🤷🏽😂
Yes...soak a multi tool in water... it def wont rust
Stainless steel doesn’t rust dummy
You can put it in a bag like he did with the second knife
Stainless
It only take a few seconds, Victorinox steel is surprisingly high in stainlessness, much more than Leatherman
Maybe dry it out?
Been eyeing this for a while. The tools look like they could be swapped with the ones in the mini sailor/flagship Also I'm wondering if a layer can be removed to make it slimmer for the pocket
Nah. Not for me. Nice review tho!
a bit heavy on the blades, could use a bit storage spot as opposed to another blade
Yeah it is blade heavy, the file isn’t very effective either so some tools could definitely be swapped
Gerber dime is super handy
love everything but the thumbstud, anything that gets in the cutting path like that is less than ideal, love the work otherwise
Yeah It doesn’t make sharpening any easier either lol
Потрясающая, работа. Единственное замечание, я бы штифт однорукого открывания сделал на пару миллиметров длиннее.
Yes that would help
