I've warrantied a couple different tools that my brother had in his collection (i inherited after his passing) Filed a claim on them separately for different issues . Gerber/Fiskars sent out brand new multitools for each claim! Was able to keep the broken multitools for parts 😎
Glad to hear . The tool is such a great tool . They where pretty tight for me . They wanted pictures and receipt. However once they got there info they sent out the exact parts right away :)
Hey I have one of these. Mine is the cheap stainless steel version. I have never had a problem with it. I keep it in my plate carrier. Interesting mix of different content. 👍
Man it's a great tool I hear you. I have only had issues when I am abusing it. ( my fault ) For example I broke it in Belize last month while trying to cut my way into a coconut :) I feal like the stainless model is exactly the same including metal just the black version is treated in a specific way.
Just wondering - wouldn't it have made sense to mill tiny wrench flats or perhaps drill pin wrench holes or some other wee grabby thing onto those screw heads?
Thanks for the video. I recently picked one of these up and wanted to know how to maintain it. I can definitely accomplish that now.
Np ryan glad to help :)

Been trying to find the spring clip that goes around the two pins
I put a claim in two days ag. I will let you know how it goes. Also in the links below is the Gerber warentee link. Perhaps throw a claim in as well.

Good point . For sure it would have been way more user friendly for sure .
