I'd like to add the "meatball-production" machine that is ~30-40 Berry bushes around a small 5x5 fence, with a berry (later: powdercake) in the middle. Picking berries by day will spawn turkeys, who will try to reach the fenced in berry. Kill all turkeys for easy meat, goes well with all the berries you picked. easiest beginner Farm imho

im only at 4:11 so please dont get upset if this is in the video already but for those of you who dont like fighting in the game, Lure plants can be planted on boats, they wont spawn eye plants and you can get like 5-7, some berry bushes and a small farm and youll be pretty set for food. plus when you do get meat you can either use it or save it for a ham bat
For krampus farm: 1. just use tentacle trap instead of winona catapult, krampus can get stunlocked by it. also its cheaper 2. anenemy can be used to make all the birds land in one spot instead of around you
Me on my way to comment on a 2-year-old video 🏃 For Krampus farm, you can use anenemy's to manipulate bird spawns (+ if someone is interested, you need approximately 112 walls and 10-12 anenemy's to build this farm, and like 3-4 statues so Krampus can't get in). There are videos on how to do it, but if you want, you can test it yourself.
I used some anenemies for my solo world krampus farm and they work really well, although I always manage to accidentally walk into them from time to time.

I use a different way of gathering nightmare fuel . The farm is very efficient and extremely safe. Basically you have a boat in the midde of the ocean, then you have a bone helm and wandas alarming clock. And then you hold F while wearing the bone helm. And thats the farm you kill the water terrorbeaks before they have a chance to hit you and these dudes spawn give or take every 7 seconds. This farm is almost fully afk the only thing you have to worry about is fueling the alarming clock which you can do in like 4 minute intervals. Also remember to have a perma light source like bulbous lightbugs and a lightning rod if you are doing this in spring. Also a plus side of this is you can do this when the world is a perma full moon and you cant use the shadow pieces farm anymore and you dont need a ton of rock. @@monsexeenorme i am VERY, VERY late, but cant you just use nightmare amulets? like yeah they're temporary but for early game you dont need a ton of nightmare fuel
grate guide. I farm Marble by using Woodie. I just eat a beaver idol, and let him chew through all the marble. Saves on gold, and other stuff, you'd need for building 15+ picks. No need for Badger. You can farm gems by building a hallway out of marble, with a door on each end, near a herd of beefalo. run the hallway, and close the door on each end. Because it's marble statues, it wont read as a wall, so he will keep running into the statues, instead of the door. Let the Big dog keep howling, and calling in more hounds, for the beefalo to kill. As long as you have a water dispencer near by, the beefalo wont burn.
Side note, farms where statues are used to protect the "lure" could break easly. I'm not 100% sure why but it has to do something with the generating of areas and mobs spawn faster when you load a section of the map the statues so the said mobs could get in the lure cage. So for pig farms I think walls are the only real solution for safety.
It seems obvi but a berry farm may be the most beginner friendly farm there is. But also marble farms with gunpowder is a recent addition to my collection. I'd also like to throw out there not a farm but the better way to plant/harvest kelp. This was great though Demon!

The event takes about 2 minutes to complete and with this in mind if you put the staff into the socket when there is less the 2 minutes remained of the full moon the staff won't turn into the moon variant but the pigs, hounds will turn into moon statues.
