I decided to go with the 85 inch Sony X90L LED TV
I bought the 75 inch Hisense U8k for 1299. @ Best Buy. Then I saw they lowered the price to 1199 just before the return time period was about to end on my purchase. I got them to do a price match and I got the 100 dollar difference plus tax back. As of today 2/24 it’s back up to 1299. I’ve had the tv now for a couple of weeks and I’m really happy with it and to get another 100 dollars off what is an excellent price is like the icing on the cake.
I still cannot believe how cheap I got my Samsung 77 s89c! For only $1799, it was the freakin STEAL of the GENERATION!
I just bought one too! I wasn’t even in the market for a new TV but I just couldn’t pass that deal up!
I have had mine for over 2 months. It’s a solid TV and untouchable at the $1799.00 price.
Just got my 65" C3 last week. Incredible TV!!!! Super clear picture with great color and sound! Also has 10 picture modes and a picture wizard which makes this TV the most adjustable TV on the market. It does everything except get you a beer from the fridge!
Got the 77S89C for $1800 earlier in the month and am 100% satisfied. It has none of the same bugs and issues that annoyed me on the S95B and OOTB picture in Filmmaker or Movie Mode is better/more accurate. Deal of the century.

Even though I didn't want to spend as much as I did, just mounted my 65" lg c3. Absolutely incredible. Can't believe the color, clarity and how thin and light it is. 40lbs!!
LG's OLED TVs are well-made and should last for years. If you keep using your TV for a long time (rather than replacing it every couple of years with the latest model) your initial investment becomes a bargain.
Just picked up a 65" S90C and oh my God is it good! Coming from a 65" Samsung Crystal UHD model (LED) I was expecting a bit more punchier colours, better blacks and the higher refresh rate in comparison, but wow I'm seeing details in movies and games I've been watching/playing for years that I've never noticed, it's incredible.
I have been waiting for QN90C to go on sale for $2100 for 85 inch, what would you recommend that is closer to the the QN90c or better than for similar price point ?
The S89C is now on sale for $1799. I was wavering between the 77" S90C and C3, but this is a no-brainer now at that price.

Specs on Best Buy site on the S89C say HDR 10+, Standard OLED, Dolby Audio. On the S90C says HDR 10+ and Hybrid Log Gamma, also Standard OLED, Dolby Atmos over standard Dolby. Both only say ARC and not eARC. Not sure if the ARC is an error. I'd think all new TV's have eARC? Atmos sound is a big difference for surround sound. Not sure about the HLG difference. $700 price difference right now though.
Why is it so hard to find actual in store HiSense TVs? I would like to go see them but never in stock at the local Best Buy.

Hey B, would you say the difference in a C1 and S90c is worth it ? I have been hearing mixed views.
I got the A95L 65 I had to got it in 55 too small faulty but picture amazing had to upgrade in size
B, I have a media room where we play ps5 & watch a lot of football. I’m leaning toward 75-85 inch tv and prefer the Sony mini led bc of Sony sound system and ps5. Are the benefits with sony worth the Sony tax vs qm8 or u8?

I get my 98” S5 next week I really really hope it’s going to be a good purchase. I stared at 83” Oleds for months but when the 98” S5 dropped in price I pulled the trigger. I’m hoping I don’t regret it.
There is no reason to regret it. It's much larger. If you didn't need 98" size, the OLED is better..but I wouldn't trade in my S5 for a smaller OLED because I sit 14ft away and the 83" was too small

I really don't think a ton. The x95L is only available in 85" so unless you are getting that size, you must get the x93l.

Sonos beam is compatible for either. LG Sound bar isn't the best but Sony are decent. Beam will be best bet for 55" unless you want to go less expensive

They don't offer it at most places in USA. It's good, better than qn90c but likely more expensive

The samsung s89c is a lg woled panel, not a qdoled. The s90c 77 has the same panel as the s95c without the stupid one connect box.
S89C is 100% QD-OLED in US.

Yes I just purchased the 89c and it is QD oled in the USA. On best buy it says quantum HD. The tv is amazing! Beats my lg c1 outta the water.
They are correct in the United States. It is a cutie OLED. It is the same as the S 90C with a different stand.

Prices are about as low as they're gonna get. Consider the S89C from Samsung and B3 from LG as some of the best high end TV deals.

I would consider that for sure. The U8K from hisense or the X90L from Sony also would be considered maybe a little below price and close to similar quality

Is it worth getting the c2 over the b3 for 100$ extra
they may be pretty similar. B3 has only 2 hdmi 2.1 ports but 4 total. C2 has 4x2.1
So I have a 77 inch S89C coming as I got it for the 1799 price well 2300 because it’s oled and the warranty is just the tax you pay, but I’m really considering canceling that order and getting the 75 inch U8 for $1200.. so it’s 1100 difference.. is that oled an $1100 better tv
Loving my S89C. For $1799 the S89C is a steal, especially at 77 inch and OLED. In my opinion the S89C is the best gaming tv out there and dam near the top in HDR picture quality.
@@trewright1482any issue with it not supporting Atmos? Specs say Dolby but the S90C specifies Atmos. Also both only say ARC and not eARC. Do you see an eARC hdmi or only ARC?
@@mikeazzaro72 I can confirm eArc and it supports Dolby Atmos. I paired my S89C with a Q990C soundbar and what a combo.
