@@theelusiveone147 im pretty sure as long as it has the same interior that it will fit. all 2008-2014 had the same interior.
I have a 2011 sti and it fits perfect! Steering wheel command work with customizable mapping. Love this stereo

It is linked to the Forester version. The dash is the same on both the Forester and the WRX. i wonder if the harnesses are the same too.
Do you need anything special for the Apple CarPlay? What’s your feedback on this since installation? Does it work with steering wheel controls

Just installed in my 2013 WRX STI, fits perfect super easy to install and once everything is updated the Zlink/ Iphone Car play works awesome. I didn't need the dongle recommended for apple car play.

@@uwishanator Yeah my iphone 8 just worked without the dongle. Works best if you use your phone hotspot and update the apps on the Idoing unit .

Any issues with the screen/single din just floating and held down with plastic clips from the trim? No screws and metal brackets?

I have a 2009 Subaru Forester. Is it possible to install a newer Subaru Forester radio into it. Like 2016 or newer with backup camera and motion sensors?
Use the old antenna harness and tie the memory wire into the constant on the main harness.
Will this fix radio reception?

I have a 14 sti with a factory kicker sub. Does this unit output power to an amp/sub or does it only do it for the speakers?
I installed the same unit and bought the antenna adapter and still getting very poor radio reception. Where does The blue wire that is zip tied to the antenna wire go now? Seams to be the issue but not sure how to fix it
would you happen to know why my radio reception is very bad on my 08 sti? it came with an aftermarket radio, bad reception back then, upgraded to the android head unit, radio still sucks, read somewhere that subarus use a 12v for better radio reception, but not sure which wire that is. i plug in the regular anthenna connector then switch to the android anthenna connector, but same problem
for the carplay dongle do i get the build-in carplay or the external carplay?

I have a 2012 wrx Impreza but the idoing guys are saying that it’s not compatible with my oem factory reverse camera that I have on my factory kenwood unit. how should I update the GPS
I contacted them directly regarding my 2017 wrx with HK system. They said to get it to work I need to install a 5 channel amplifier, that makes the cost go through the roof as 5 channel amps are not cheap. Does anyone know of any alternate solution?

Have you ever gotten any white noise from these units? Tried installing one in my Mazda but the white noise was annoying.
The models with better sound chips don't have this issue.

Hey man I just bought this for my 2014 STI and the cables in the back of the head unit aren’t compatible with the car wires. Did you have to buy new wires or did yours come with the correct wires for that specific car. I asked Ali express if they had specific wires for a 2014 STI and they said they didn’t. Anyways I’d appreciate some help and thanks In advance!
