- We install the iDoing 9" Android headunit w/CarPlay and Android Auto! There were a few hiccups, but we got it working!

Just got this same unit for my 2019 STI and I’m loving every moment with it. Glad to see you were able to fix the car play problem, gotta drop a part 2 with the reverse camera install!!

Sick car! I got a 09 sti. Are you going to follow up with the reverse camera install? Would like to see how it looks when its being used before i purchase this. Besides that you made it look well worth it! Im trying to get rid of the stock stereo already.

I was wondering, How do you feel the radio is after having it for almost a year? I had a Siecane and it was horrible.
Do you know if the head unit is able to be seperated from the trim piece?
any updates on how the unit has performed since then? my old unit just kicked the bucket and I've been eyeing this one since I first got my Subie!

Where did you end up grounding the ground wire to. You didn’t show that or talk about it.

Does it need the ground? Like I know how important a ground is but I can’t find my ground cable
I just installed my idling head unit and somewhere in the settings it tells you the pairing code if anyone is having troubles
Did yours come equipped with a subwoofer under the driver seat? I’m wondering if that will still work with this setup.

I purchased this unit and had it for a few months. I decided to return it for several reasons:
Is the sound from the speakers in better with the head unit from the old stock Oem stereo?
are you having issues with your GPS location when you using Apple CarPlay? Because I am and I’m trying to fix it. I tried contacting Idoing but they couldn’t help
