Ezrider92356 hello from Tx!thanks for your videos u do great work! It’s really helpful for me with my truck thanks I really appreciate you keep up the good work!!!
Excellent tutorial on the process of making a simple clutch adjustment. A shop in my town will charge $400.00 for that procedure. This vid saved me time and money. Good Job, thanks.
Your one of the best mechanic I have seen.you ain't afraid to admit if you might have possibly done something wrong.and always give the best advice keep up the great work.
I appreciate your explanation of this process.. I adjusted the clutch on my 2011 Pete 386/18 speed yesterday and got the clutch brake working well and had just a touch over .5" spacing but yet I had 2.25" of pedal travel. I was a bit worried since "everybody" says "no more than 2" free play".. After considering what it would take to adjust the linkage on my truck, I said screw that and left it alone.. I'm glad I did. Everything is working fine so I'm not worried about another .25" of free play.. Thanks again. Your videos are very helpful!!
your speech is crystal clear and your excellent on the tools i wish the fitters who worked on my erf were like you ezrider,im enjoying your vlogs buddy keep em rolling.

I wish I’d found these videos a year ago! Came across your channel just yesterday and I’ve watched around 40 more since! 👏🏼 loving the amount of detail and information. Keep up the great work! 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Great idea with the custom socket. Definitely the path of least resistance. I'm a driver, not a wrench turner and this made it clear how simple it is to replace these on our old 379s. Man it's irritating to not have a clutch brake!
Looked at atleast 5 videos trying to find a good explanation of how to adjust a clutch. This is the first video that gave a clear explanation. Thankyou sir
Always very informative Eazirider, I like your videos, no bad language, no stupid music playing, just good sensible information, thank you. Kind regards from Manchester UK.
Good day, my friend. One more time, thanks for your very informative videos. I read the Bible and it states “is better to give than to receive”. You are giving knowledge and patience on each of your videos. God bless you and your family and business.
Thank you ! This is a five star video. Much needed, as my clutch brake is skunking me on the construction job sites. Can't come off the pile in style when I dump a load . They don't have time for slow clutch brakes .
Nice job. I understood everything you said. The video was fine, it showed what it needed too. You have a way of explaing things that's easy to absorb. The best was your explanation of the 2"-3" of free play not really meaning that much but rather the 1/2" of clearence between throughout bearing and clutch brake means a lot. Thank you!
We used to use a 5/16 bolt (1/2 in. head) and weld a piece of threaded rod to it for a feeler gauge to check the throwout to clutch clearance. Just found your channel. Great videos you put up! You are very talented in all phases of the trucking business.and should be very proud of your skills.
Really well explained and good footage of the black hole inside the inspection hole. I assumed I had the old style clutch in my 1989 379 Pete, but when I got in there it had been upgraded to the new style by the previous owner. Subscribed and thanks again
Great video. I just bought a ‘66 Pete dump truck that has a Fuller reman RTO12513. Clutch brake isn’t working at all. Now I know what to look for and where to go from there. I sure appreciate folks like you who share procedures like this. 👍
Excellent video! Many thanks for sharing your knowledge. I learned a lot on this one and thanks for debunking some of those urban myths about the pedal free play.
Our mechanic just replaced the clutch in my T800 before he quit and it's past its break in period if there is such a thing, needs to be adjusted and I have to be the one doing it. This is extremely helpful
None explained as like you done. Really great learning experience. That's why genius mechanic is required. And..... You're one of them. That's what the truth is 🙏🔥🙏
Finally someone on UA-cam that has performed a clutch adjustment as it should be done stating that the 1/2 inch gap is critical set point as a mechanic myself well done 👏
thank you, even a lot of "professional" mechanics get this wrong. i guess i haven't watched any clutch adjustment video's on you tube to see how other people are showing to do it.
I have a 10 speed Eaton I recently had the clutch replaced because it was getting hard to go into first in reverse from a stop. Seems like it fix the problem for about two weeks no I’m right back at the same place my friend said the same thing happened to his truck also exactly……any ideas? Supposedly I have the best clutch that you can buy fully automatic they told me.

Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. I'm not much of a mechanic so when our truck mechanic, who works at a different shop than me, told me he was going to send me a clutch brake he has at his shop my palms started to sweat if you know what I mean. But after watching your video I feel that I may be able to replace the brake myself. Thanks again.
Great video man! I love how you explained everything thoroughly. There’s plenty of videos on clutch adjustments but this one is the right way to do it.
Informative. Thanks. Appreciate the explanation of the clutch brake when removed from the wild, their styles and preferences/history and tips on removing them.
Thanks to your video you saved me a day down. I popped a new clutch brake in and clutch brake works! I had a helper hold the clutch brake by depressing the pedal to drive the roll pins out. Block of wood would work too On the pedal.

Good stuff... my 2015 t680 started to slip just a little when I was taking off in morning, usually merging when I am mashing it... made it 3000 miles home and had clutch replaced. Before pedal was right at top... now I have a good bit of free play... but clutch brake barely works... I watched video so I can check it out.
