- Hey guys. I hope you enjoy this video! I really want to spread awareness around Kratom addiction and dependence. This drug is legal in the US and is easily obtainable. I had no idea it was an addictive opioid until after I tried it and it was too late. I hope I can prevent this from happening to others.

Thank you for sharing the story. I'm was a daily user 25gpd and now I am in my day 11 of my CT. Withdrawal sucks! I still cannot sleep not ever after 11 days! If that isn't enough to people to realize how harming this drug is, I don't know what. And not even I cannot sleep, I feel like I have a flu combined with alcohol hangover!
Stay strong! We don't need this shit!
I am so glad i found u, sweet lady. I am young lady as well struggling with even tapering now. For almost 1 years. I am looking for sources like this vedio to realise in deeper level that it is shitty thing. But i do lack realisation. It would be so nice if u could reply to this comment or even make video why kratom = death. I understand these words, but not by my own heart. I see the consequences and i realise addiction but it all looks superficial and not serious for me. Im shocked by number of people with this issue. Thank u very much for being so brave and share ur experience
I’m on 30 hours without it. Already getting sick. I wish I never started taking it again. Thank you for your video sis. I appreciate you sharing your journey
Thank you for sharing your journey. I lost my son to mitragynine toxicity. It will be 4 yrs 8/30. Keep spreading awareness and the dangers ❤️
So sorry to hear that, very sad.
So sorry to hear that, very sad.
Im an 8 1/2 year Kratom user. I started tapering about 2 months ago. Was taking 12g four times a day. Tapered to 12g twice a day and withdrawals kicked in. I had panic and anxiety attacks from the taper. Was taken to ER twice over it and that’s when I found out it was the tapering. All blood work and EKGs were normal. Healthy report. But since I had already started and suffered the scare, I sped up the tapering. Went down to 4.8g twice a day then to 2.4g three times a day. This is an aggressive taper. Don’t recommend it because your body is suffering. All day anxiety. Some days panic attacks throughout the day. Cramping. Chest discomfort, anxious, tingling, restlessness arms and legs. But won’t stop the tapering. Waiting in my stem to jump from regular Kratom and also introduce Kava. Then make the jump. I don’t recommend CT if you were an over 8 year user. Your body will not respond favorably and make cause adverse consequences. Also don’t recommend an aggressive taper. The 1/2 g at a time over 6-12 month period should be the best way IF you can commit. Good luck to all on the road to recovery. If you thinking about, pray a lot. Get God in your life and take the first step today!
On hour 36 of kratom withdrawls. Horrible restless body, eyes running, heart pounding, and hot/cold sweats. Used it for pain for a few years, and then it just became not enjoyable now. Ready for it to be over. If you're going through it, you got this. Just take it one day at a time.
How are you doing now??
@ronmexico79 Unfortunately I had ankle reconstruction surgery a 2 months ago. Kratom to get away from the pain meds. So about to go through it again after Halloween
I‘ll try to quit this time for sure. On K for 6 1/2 years straight. I tried to quit for a few times already but it was not really successful, I always tried Cold T. But since I have terrible OCD and other issues it was too much at once. The withdrawals were too strong and I relapsed after a few days. I‘m going to do it this time. I know depression is gonna hit me so hard, but it is time. That’s the worst part for me. Sure the restless legs are terrible as well and sleeping issues and so on, but that’s kind of manageable I’m comparison.
I taper this time. Wish me luck.❤
The topics you talk about are very important, thank you
Rule of thumb is to not over use anything. It feels great and can really boost morale and work performance but if taken consecutively for too long it is like anything else that the body gets used to. Take it with intent to get some things done and then drop for a few days.
Problems occur when it's used daily and recreationally. Additionally, I don't believe the whole leaf is meant to be ingested- people in Asia typically chew fresh leaves and then spit them out. Kratom starts off wonderful, but then slowly turns on you if used daily, even at low doses. That's my experience at least. Glad you're doing better.
The body pain that I experienced when I withdrew was brutal.
I saw people very close to me using effectively to kick a bad opiate habit, a very tough one.
better than methadone.
no side effects, no craving.
I realise these people's experience is not universal and we all need to be careful about both what we experiment with as much as what we advocate for, but still, it singlehanded saved my BFF's life.
Also, addiction is complex, very very complex.
it's very rarely just about the physiological consequences of substance abuse and more about what an individual lacks in their life, upbringing and coping skills.
I saw "strongwilled" hardworking people becoming junkies overnight, and unemployed good for nothing professional freeloaders never really get addicted to anything, even after heavily indulging.
Kratom CAN be addictive, even physically so, but first and foremost, the addiction starts with what you are running away from
I only experienced three times withdrawals and it was like you say horrible! On the expressway going to get Percocets I didn't dose that morning and then I found myself shaking and trembling in the car and yelling uncontrollably! It was terrifying! And at times I couldn't keep my eyes open I just could not keep them open I was so scared that I was going to crash! This only lasted maybe 40 minutes until I got home the dose. But if that withdrawal will last for days than I need to go to a rehab. Get away from all temptations and the controlled environment and I would refuse all medications! The point of being in what detox is to get the stuff out of your system as quick as possible I believe.
Hi Emma , thx for your openness . Also legal in the Netherlands, i agree with everything you said. I understand the naltraxone treatment however using the tablets for a long time keeps your reptile brain in charge , complete abstinence is the word. Take care !
Wow i really thought it was more like marijuana but stimulant. I didn’t know it was more like a hard substance
I've been addicted to other substances, but never to kratom. The stuff is just so awful to consume, I can't even imagine consuming addiction level quanitities of the stuff without getting a little nauseous.
I don’t understand why would you not take it into work. I am addicted to Kratom and battling myself, but I have to go to work with some kratom.
because shes making it all up. im sure tomorrow she will claim to be a recovering fentanyl addict. then on monday she'll claim shes recovering from heroin lol so pathetic and fake. shes probably got an Onlyfans too! wouldnt doubt it
It’s weird to explain. But for me, I would rather be in withdrawal at work than high on it because once I got high I wanted out of there. I was a year round full time lifeguard so this made it easier because I just sat there. It was absolutely miserable
@@womaninthewave I rather be at work on kratom than on vacation sober. I tried to quit kratom uising meth once. Worked for 3 day :D
Hey thanks for sharing. This September will be one year on Kratom. Been taking the extracts for about 2 months. Last week I went all day before I took a dose and was absolutely miserable until I took it. Very fatigued, no motivation at work. Hot/cold chills, sweating. Depressed. Said I was gonna stick to that even though it was horrible. But over the weekend I just continued to dose normally. Then today I just added a little more extracts to my doses. 🤦♂️ Very stupid of me. Hopefully soon I can conjure up the will power to stick to a taper. Cannot cold turkey it. Would be kinda dangerous at my job to be deep in withdrawal. But yeah, rambled a bit. lol To anyone out there in my position, you’re not alone. 🙏 For me, knowing I’m not alone makes me feel a little better. ❤
Would you say that you chased the high for those 4 yrs or were you maintaining against withdrawal?
I took 7 hydroxymitragynanine for 2 months and have been withdrawing for weeks, still having panic attacks chest pain and shallow breathing
I dam well knew how addictive it was when I started but I thought it would help me get off Suboxone.
I'm on day 3
5 years 60 grams a day
The restless legs is from the dopamine and testosterone drop when going through the withdrawal and lasts till your levels get back to normal
4day can't sleep, been walking like a zombie even im tired, nonstop yawning, panic attack really make me want to give up.😢.i drink almost 10year.😢how to quit?
I used to take kratom every day, now it makes me too sick. I never got withdrawals though even after stopping cold turkey from taking over 10 grams a day daily for 2 years
Makes me real sick too!! I keep telling myself this is crazy! I'm done with it. Kradom got me off of opioids from all my surgeries.
I was given Suboxone for Kratom withdrawal.
Me too right now. Kind of scared though
How do you feel about that?
😮 that's even worse. Man, the medical system is whack.
gabapentinoids would be sufficient to cope with kratom withdrawal
suboxone withdrawal longer than kratom and hurt more..
you cannot possibly have that intense withdrawal sympthoms after just 1 week taking kratom... unless you were on kratom or opioids before! or you are an exception, but this is very unusuall... I have taken Kratom for several years every now and then and also sometimes for 1 month straight, daily, I could mostly stop taking it and I experienced only very minor sympthoms...
@@mr_wildschwein I hear you. But I sure did experience withdrawal symptoms after a week, however they were less intense than they were the longer I used. The main factor is I took waaaay more Kratom that you’re supposed to from the get go, so that’s likely the reason for that
Thank you for sharing. 🤍
currently trying to quit myself. Def alot harder than I thought itd be. 😮💨
Did you quit? If you still scared, try to taper. Even 1/2 gram less on yo ur normal dose is a victory.
This stuff fucked my stomach up in fact my whole GI
Did anybody notice negative effects on their kidney from their kratom abuse or any other organs for that matter or get any blood work?
I had blood work after being on it for 7 or 8 years, including several years of extracts prior to the blood work. Everything came back good. I was at the Dr for urinary issues that were being caused by the kratom. I was not able to connect the urinary issues to the kratom until all the other possible culprits like cancer or enlarged prostate were eliminated. I no longer take take extracts and have cut down on the powder enough that the urinary syptoms mosty subsided. I still am slowly tapering and hope to be completely off in a few months. I am a pilot and would consider long acting suboxone if not for having to tell the FAA about it and probably losing my medical certification.

Wow you took 15 vivitrol shots and you kept coming back on kratom - and all over again,. Jesus. I abused kratom over 15 years - power only - close to 100g daily. I got 50mg of naltroxone pill that I took while taking kratom - I was in percipitated WD hell next 12 hours. i could not get 24hr clean from kratom. Eventually I bit the bullet and started low dose of suboxone. Took that for 5 months. And then I took 2 shots of sublucade - and now im good.
Day 7, for the second time. Weeee 😂😂😂😂
Kratom sucks. 80 pills a day is fucking gross
