Everyone's different there's some people that experience heroin like withdrawal but obviously with less intensity because it takes effect on your opioids receptor

I like how Joe Rogan is a semi-informed, relatable guy, that brings on very knowledgeable guests and asks the questions that most people would want to know the answers to. He also puts forward the ideas and stereotypes that most people have, brings them to the table, and allows himself (and us) to be informed properly.
Yeah. He seems to always have been an honest dude. Like him or not. And he schools himself on his topics. As well as has open conversation with people on his podcast.

I’m a surgical first assist and have been in the medical field all my working life , I recently had major surgery that was extremely painful , I’ve never ever had a better analgesic than kratom I was completely blown away how effective it was , completely stopped the pain incredible
Cody Stewart I've had that same thought. Everyone stfu about Kratom already!. When I first discovered Kratom no one knew about it, therefore I didn't tell anyone about it, 12 years later... Bam!... it's all over the internet!. It's like telling everyone about this great high paying job you're applying for, you're just shooting yourself in the foot.
That is the best way to put it! Big pharma gets antsy about losing 1% of sales for painkillers and detox drugs, and the alphabet soup of government agencies ride in to save us from safer, effective, natural and cheaper kratom! So glad we've got the best government money can buy! I guess we got quite the bargain by electing Trump - that probably cut out a few (hundred) middlemen
Cody Stewart Hello! And they are banning it as we speak in Wisconsin. I wonder what state is next? We have a Out-Of-Control Government with a bunch of Wacko Politicians who are drunk on Money & Power! Really Sad.
Kratom has certainly helped a lot of people with harm reduction from opioid addiction, but for me, I'd never been an addict until I started taking it. The physical and mental issues that come with it after years of use is something more people should be aware of. The quittingkratom subreddit isn't just fear mongering.
Delta9 gummies help me with booze cravings. And I don't really like weed. They just make me not want to drink. Tried kratom once and I either didn't take enough or just already had too high of an opiate tolerance.
I see people asking about kratom use all the time, and my answer is: if you don't NEED to be on it, don't start it. Edit for clarification: I have used it for 15 years to control pain. It works great, but I can't recommend it for recreation. That's what *real* drugs are for.
@@chompachangaswould you say it is possible to use it occasionally ? For example as an alternative to alcohol if I were to use it a couple times a month
I've used kratom for the past 15 years or so to manage my nerve and arthritis pain. In that time, I stopped consuming alcohol, street drugs, I've kept the same desk job for 10 years, been happily married for 12, own a house and paid off the car. There seems to be a real disconnect between what people think a kratom user is and what we actually can be. This is largely due to the ongoing opioid crisis hysteria. There isn't a viable option for pain management available for a lot of people in the USA anymore. Pain patients are often treated like criminals and junkies and either turned away or monitored to the point of weekly piss tests and strict medication use guidelines. Prescriptions for opioid pain medication has dropped yet deaths from overdoses continue to skyrocket despite restrictions. Why? Fentanyl has filled that demand for relief. What exactly is the point of these restrictions when street fentanyl is cheap and plentiful? Anyway, I'm glad I got out of that racket. I feel like a beat the system and I'm lucky to be alive.
I’ve worked an honest lifestyle, work, don’t drink, don’t smoke, but my job choices are brutal to my body. I deal with so much pain and have no relief, I was at a shop asking questions and it’s supposed to help with pain and energy. I feel like some people can overdo anything- but the right person and the right dose/intention I think this can really help a person without it being disabling.
I’m grateful your 15 years into success it sounds to me and I’m glad to hear it could help me as well considering I deal with something -like- arthritic and nerve pain. Having no good drs around and x rays no one among other GI issues that can be very upsetting I’m hoping my first time today will be a blessing.

hal900x Thank you for your Common Sense attitude. I hope & pray that only people who stand up for Kratom will speak. Not anyone who wants to support it in a Negative way. All this does is feed our Hateful Tyrannical Government.
Illegal? The government can't control nothing, people always find a way to get it, the same way they claim there are no cures for certain diseases ironically there is if you stop believing everything they say, and find out for yourself.

I remember watching Hamiltons show on Vice back in early 2000s. He is impressively well versed and mature about all the substances he experiments with.
And THAT'S the way to do it. ***(if possible ) cold turkey, get all that shit out your system. Unfortunately prison is the only way some people do get clean, not this Kratom everyone's raving about, sorry but YOU'RE NOT CLEAN if you're taking kratom
@@JaneCooper190072 and what's your perspective? Someone who has never been addicted to any substance? Someone who hasn't tried painkillers or Kratom? People die from quitting opiates completely. And if someone is taking kratom rather than heroin, they are clean. They aren't taking a substance that threatens their life with every injection. They aren't purchasing a drug illegally and risking being put in prison. Fuck off, some people are less fortunate and find themselves in bad situations. And it's people like you who make it seem like it's their issue for being addicted.
@@christopherharris8312 I've had opiate addiction for over 30 years, so I do know what I'm talking about actually, and concerning the Kratom you still need to withdraw off of that too, so no you're not clean. My friend tried kratom a few days ago and had the worse allergic reaction, she had a fever and was very ill. All I'm saying is you now have a Kratom addiction. The same with methadone you're at less of a risk from overdose, infection from injection sites e.t.c. ; but you're still addicted to an opioid and have a hell of a time coming off cold turkey. There's just no easy way to come off of opiates, you're going to go thru some discomfort regardless of what you take. The best way to do it is reduce as low as possible and then get something for about a week to get over the worst part. It IS their/our "issue" for being addicted. Who else's?
I got hooked on Oxy's after I separated my shoulder, I had a friend who owned a medical cannabis shop in Washington who put me to work and gave me all the pot I wanted on the condition that I didn't touch anything else. Been opioid free for over 10 years now not to mention what a difference it made with my ADHD.
A big reason that it's hated on by the FDA is it's effect on the legal opiate (prescription) business. As a recovering heroin addict, who takes 50+ grams a day, with minor side effects compared to heroin, I consider it safe. However, I believe stricter regulations aren't a bad idea. I definitely should not be taking as much as I have regardless of the minimal side effects so far.
Kratom got me off of pain medication in the past, and then I stopped taking thd kratom and then has no withdrawals. Kratom saves lives, it is no killer. Besides if you start mixing stuff anything can kill you. Like idiots that get drunk while taking oxycontin. Since that happens on a by the minute basis now...Should we make booze illegal because people love to mix that with drugs of all types, or should the oxycontin be illegal because it wipes out about 40,000 people a year. Yet, it remains legal. Should it be banned? 🤷♂️ Nobody has an answer. But it is a proven fact that Kratom can help you get off of heroin or oxycontin without letting the withdrawals butcher and maim you. Peace.✌🙏👍
First, I got Kratom from a friend and it changed my life, later I was also getting the same brand as you from headshops, later I found a better alternative online - New Dawn Kratom (it costs like 5 times less and its way better. Kratom saved me from an alcohol addiction of 22 years. Haven't had a drink in 3.5 years and life has nerve been better. Idk man, i tried kratom to kick opiates. And it didnt do anything lol and i took ALOT of kratom lols just felt like strong coffee. @@Ikari777 Two kratom pills is almost nothing. Probably wouldn't even feel it unless you weigh 90 pounds or something. 6-10 is more like a normal dose.
@klaus 420 True but if you take Kratom in capsule form you are just wasting it. I guess its ok since its so cheap anyway. If you actually split the capsules open and swallow it, then its about twice as potent. Most of what gets you high is when its absorbed in your mouth and such. In Capsule form a lot of it just passes through your system.
I was on fentanyl and oxycodone legally in pain management for 11 years. Kratom not only helped me get off both of them four years ago,but it also prevents me from going back and provides adequate pain relief. @@PNorthWDad yes,and I don't plan on stopping. I have broken metal and shrapnel stuck in my spine. I should be in pain management but no doctor will write pain meds anymore because people abused them. Kratom is a life saver. When you're in constant physical pain to the point of wanting to delete yourself with no cure addiction to a highly less dangerous drug than opioids is worth the trade off. Living in so much pain you're constantly in tears and unable to get out of bed isn't living,it's just waiting to die. And no,I'm not depressed and I certainly don't look forward to death. But chronic severe pain is something I'm simply not going to deal with if I don't have a means to ease my suffering

I was an alcoholic for many years. Drinking cost me everything. My wife, my house, many jobs and even my kids stopped talking to me. Then I found Kratom and I have been sober for a year and eight months and have regained some of what I lost. The most precious thing is, I've reestablished a relationship with the kids.

Talking about the longshoreman's experience it reminds me how people can have completely different reactions to these substances. I was given Tramdol which I've read of many people taking a small dose for decades with no real issue. I found it like Morphine and other pain killers lost effectiveness for me. Tramadol was the first time I had experienced withdrawl symptoms though because I had used it off and on for a few years. Perhaps one day pain management for chronic issues will improve to the point that many drugs will be abandoned for more health sustainable options.
I was on pain meds for 4.5 years because of spinal injuries. I was taking 200mg of morphine a day. Kratom plus CBD and medical marijuana got me off all of that for the past 2 years. When I was on pain meds it took my pain away but I felt like shit all the time. Especially in the morning when I woke up. With kratom I have been able to work out again consistently I'm stronger than I have ever been in my life at 32 years old. I also don't feel like shit every morning. The withdrawals of kratom is nothing in comparison to pain med withdrawal.
It was great, for like years. Sorted my fibro pain out. But after taking it every day for years I had to recognise how highly strung and anxious I was. It calmed after I quit. That said, if pain was a big issue, this is what I’d go for over most appropriate pharmaceutical equivalents. Easiest side effect profile and easiest opiate-like to quit.
Famous Forever I take 3 milligrams per dosage as many as 4 a day and having Kratom is the only reason I could get off bupenorphine (Suboxone) which I had been on for 5 years after i decided to kick heroin and other opiates. I have been clean for a whole year in August and I thank God everyday.
Kratom w/d includes increased pain, insomnia, restless legs and arms, constipation, flu like symptoms, and depression. Quitting cold turkey takes about 7 days. W/d regimen can include: clonidine, trazodone, and gabapentin for a few weeks
Interesting. Yeah, I found daily manual labor to be really difficult. I had so much stiffness and felt like I was being injured and needed time to heal. But if you could simply relax your body and reduce the pain, that would be an improvement
I dated this weire chick once. Well it wasnt really dating, she just came over to my place a couple of times, but that is another story. She called it "moonrocks" but I made a comment that it was "black tar caviar" But she deleted my comment, lol. Eventually deleted her account there entirely. As did I. Btw she was also a former meth head and told me she quit using it years ago but that she could sometimes "smell it" while she was asleep. Girl was cra cra.
@Jim Cornette I am not sure what you are referring to because slang is different in different areas but from where I was at moonrocks meant bud that had been rolled in kief (look up kief if you need to) I never heard of anyone ever smoking MDMA. Molly is a pill. Although I am sure some idiots probably tried to crush it and smoke it or even snort it but I don't think they got any buzz from it. And any idiot who did that probably also thought chewing on tide pods was cool or funny
I have had a severe mental dependency on pot for years (I know that sounds stupid), my new job requires me to pee clean and for over a year I couldn’t quite stop, Kratom has successfully got me off pot. It’s not the same at all but the slight calming and relaxing head buzz and the undeniable pain relief was what all it took to allow me to keep my job and sanity.
Tell me what to expect..I have this same issue but I use thos disposables from the cbd store here in Nebraska where some delta products are legal to consume. I don't use the real stuff as it's not legal here..any way, I would like to kick it and go get that job..pros cons give me your best Kratos 101 course. Serious ask.
I was 22 haven’t touched drugs in years then I stumbled into kratom/kava bar had some friends there and was not properly informed of the addictive properties and boom 2 years later I can’t work or function w/o kratom and don’t know how to stop
If I were you, I would get a gym membership and take one or two weeks off of work. The first couple days just stay in bed. That feeling will pass eventually. Then go to the gym everyday, lift weights and do light cardio. You might just get addicted to the gym life but its a lot better than being addicted to a substance
u jest, but about 15 years ago, they did an extensive study of all the name-brand, top-selling multi-vitamins... and they found that the FLINSTONES had the most bio-availability, combined with a good range, and appropriate dosage; it came in #1, over Centrum, 1-a-day, and the equivalent generics
Not enough people say it. Ive been on kratom for 5 years and if i skip a dose 8hrs later my eyes water, my nose drips, i chronically sneeze, insomnia, strong pain in my femurs. Ive been to rehab twice for other things and it hurts just as bad as anything else to quitb
I've taken Kratom since 2014. I was in a bad motorcycle accident on top of physical abuse, & took opioids. Kratos replaced the pain pills for good & without the bad downsides of pills
I've been taking Kratom powder for 5 to 6 years now. Other than getting naucious from taking too much at onnce I've never had any signs or episodes revealing that it was dangerous. Being an ex opiate addict I can tell you 100% that the Kratom plant helped me get clean off all street and pharmaceutical opioids! Thank God for the Kratom plant.

Alcohol is addictive, but what you said about wanting another drink until you pass out is not so much the addictive element, rather that's just the alcohol screwing with your better judement.
I have had my ups and downs with kratom, All i can say is use it very carefully and smart. I noticed if you use it everyday for about a 2 weeks you WILL have some kind of withdrawal, some more than others. But then there is that feeling of comtempt is really slippery, I noticed way back when i abused it for 3 months i noticed my sleep, sex drive and mental health would crash after just a 1 week of use. Like i would get mad for small shit even doe im down to earth. Now i know that abusing it is the reason i got addicted, But the thing is i used like only 2-4 grams twice a day and that is a regular ass dose. I Love the plant and understand its uses but its a REAL thin line until you start feeling that you need it to even function.
I think it’s still important to highlight that everyone’s experience with Kratom can be different. I know several people that struggled mightily to get off of it, because of the efficiency they felt while working. Others I talk to have no issue at all, I just think everyone has to delve into things not thinking their experience will be the same as everyone else’s.

There were 52 caffeine-only reported mortality cases last year and 458 acetaminophen (APAP) deaths with >100k APAP poisonings. No one blinks an eye at that. Laughably ridiculous.
There have been cannabis deaths, aspirin deaths, and water deaths, really. We cannot take a life changing healing botanical away from the 1000s that have broken the chains of hard drug addiction because a few unfortunates had a reaction usually with other substances. There is a reason I never heard of kratom for the years of agony i spent hurting my family and myself and its not because nobody knew. Big Pharm is of course threatened by this viable and inexpensive opiate addiction cure but its our responsibility to those ahead of us who fall victim to heroin and pk torture to keep this legal and available.
I have been using it daily for 6-7 years now.. but much smaller doses than most people I think. I use powder, start my day with one teaspoon, have another teaspoon mid/late afternoon, and a third one an hour or two before bed. I mix the three colors for the first two doses, and it energizes me, and takes the edge off my back pain... the last dose at night is strictly red, for the sedative aspect, helps me sleep soundly. I may or may not be 'addicted', but I don't see any problem with it even if I am.. I can't say that I get high or even buzzed.. it's just subtle effects.
Will kratom help me with my heroin withdrawal? I used kratom 4 years ago and it worked like heroin but i did not know how heroin feels back then because i am taking heroinonly 9 months now. Will it ease my withdrawal? I bought the redvein thai maeng da.
Kratom just helped me finally get off painkillers after 6 years of abusing them. 6 years of every day use and crippling anxiety and depression, I got off them with almost no issue thanks to Kratom. Didnt even go through withdrawal. Took it for the first month of being off painkillers and after that stopped the kratom and I have my life back. It truly is incredible if you are stuck in drug addiction
Use Kratom for pain med withdrawals , then cbd oil and aspirin to leave kratom. Then eat an antifungal diet to finish bringing good health back. Kratom after a few months will wreck your bladder , and kidneys by the way.
Congrats man... As someone that took painkillers and was shooting heroin for years I certainly don't understand how this was better than a really good 5 day subutex taper or even just a cold turkey cut out.. I found Kratom an awful solution that isn't effective enough to actually take away serious withdrawals and also just suffers from the lack of legality and therefore also the production of quality kratom. For me. Subutex was the savior. Long term Suboxone use is AWFUL. Just as bad as methadone and harder to come off than Oxy's or heroin. But if you're using oxy/heroin you can literally come off in 5 days with very little withdrawal and very little pain with a good smart sub taper.. i also know many people that got sober with kratom 3 times, subs 3 times, and methadone 3 times, only to then make themselves detox with nothing so that it would stick in their brain. Everyone is different. That's awesome it worked for you but I really hope people don't just jump on this. There's a reason it's not the go to.
@@josephgood2704 Every user I knew/know has a kratom stash right next to their sub stash, I have yet to personally meet anyone who it didnt work for but I am aware its not a solution for everyone. It can also become another addiction. But for me I felt literally no withdrawal and only used it for about a week. Used subutex and suboxone in the past and they worked decent, but seemed to make my rabid anxiety worse. Kratom however helped with it a lot. Just my experience. But thank you man, congrats to you as well
I really am not trying to be a downer, but is that 2 straight years of using it? By all means, harm reduction is a strategy and I’d say better on kratom than methadone. But your son isn’t clean until he has nothing interacting with his opiate receptors, and time makes breaking a habit harder. The brain also learns, so to speak, and gets used to things - meaning going without after 2 years would be torture. If he’s still young and simple harm reduction isn’t all you’re going for, I’d look for a therapist familiar with kratom and talk out an exit strategy with GOOD SUPPORT in case things get hairy. I know it probably feels safer as is but the question becomes, is this what you both want for the rest of his life? Because it’ll only get harder, and as tolerance builds the risk of switching back grows also. As well, unlike say suboxone, kratom does not block the effects of opiates whatsoever. Just don’t think being on kratom is a cure all. It’s great for chronic pain sufferers, but for those that have addiction issues, it’s still a drug being used to alter one’s mood. Therapy is also worthwhile because usually there’s something underlying - for me it was anxiety and of course, opiates take care of that. So would kratom but I know it’s not a long term solution so I had to deal with some less wonderful days, worth it in the long run. In all seriousness, even if you never see this, I wish you and your son luck. Hopefully you also know the huge difference a supportive family can make in recovery, sounds like you have that part well covered.
I have over 2 straight years clean off opiates and amphetamines, I have been using Kratom every day. And while my kratom habit is getting heavy.. I'm still not using illegal drugs
Newname I agree that support is very important but I have support and it still gets hard. I also have chronic pain.. I'm 23, have a hip replacement, several broken vertebrae, and a broken tailbone. So I need something for pain
I need to find out where and what to by to stop the 7 years of Subutex. I've told the doc long time I want off. He just says when myself. I cannot. I'm at 6 mg a day. Tiny pieces a day I take few times a day rather than whole pills. I cant handle the sickness it gives when I take it. I've been too long taking it. I dont need it anymore. I wonder if this kratom would work for 1 month plan. Or two weeks.
You start feeling normal relatively quickly (within 3-7 days)..but those first few days suck. I can't even explain the discomfort. Effects your bladder too. Felt like I constantly had to pee and nothing happened. I'd honestly rather be in a good deal of pain vs dealing with that again.
I’m currently getting off oxycodone after years of use for pain. It was affective pain relief, but made me feel like I wanted to take my life almost daily. Weening off has been a challenge, but it’s better than hanging from a tree in the back yard.
Which one do you take? I’ve had 4 spinal surgeries and was just approved of getting a spinal stenosis inserted in my back to help with the pain and I tried the Bali Red Vein Kratom to see if maybe it would help, I keep trying different meds and different therapies.
Due to an injury, I have the choice of hard narcotics or kratom to deal with pain, likely for the rest of my days. Kratom is so much more manageable and, once I found my therapeutic dosage, I have maintained the same dose for several years, with the only bad side effect being a slight loss of overall appetite. None of this would be possible for me on real narcotics. I do have a physical dependence to kratom, but nothing like the nightmare of oxy and that sort of stuff.
I was one of those who took kratom every day after getting off opiates, now I am tapering, what a nightmare is all I can say, I wish I had never come across it. It acts on loads of receptors, the depression and anxiety is horrible and sleep disturbance. The only reason I have not yet got the slew of withdrawals other online people have had, is because I am tapering really slooooooow. I had less trouble getting off speed than this stuff.

@@punani_slayer4209 -- The only reason I ever wanted to try kratom was because the DEA wanted to ban it a few years ago. When I saw that I thought, "Oh this must be some good shite!" It was. I used the green or white variety (not the red, painkiller leaves) because it was like an amphetamine. Got me speedy and I liked using it for when I was working.
Kratom is the main thing that significantly helps my Narcolepsy. I'm so greatful for it. The prescriptions stimulants they put me on made me feel absolutely horrible so I am greatful Kratom is legal where I live.
I’ve been on kratom for 6 years straight. 24/7. 30-50gpd. 10 gram doses. It’s cost me over $8,000. Could’ve bought a house. It’ll make you lazy and unmotivated. It’s super hard to get off once you get physically and psychologically hooked. Try it if you want but just know it’s like a baby opiate but won’t cause resp depression. It’s addictive and usually used to replace alcohol. I’m off it right now but the issue I have is that it’s a plant that is never the same. Each batch is different. Sometimes you get bunk shit that doesn’t do anything. $75 down the drain. It’s hard to find batches that are not bunk and that’s why I’m off it. It’s also loaded with lots of heavy metals and can cause seizures in lots of people. It’s a solid drug that won’t ruin your life and still allows you to think good and go to work. Your tolerance WILL go up after years of doing it too.
Agree with this. Kratom simply isn't powerful enough to replace the sucker punch of your opioid receptors that heroin provides. Its a tickle compared to a punch. But its good for getting off other weaker opioids, including oxycodone.
man good for you. im currently taking both. but steadily moving on to kratom only. ive tried a few days of only kratom and i end up just not doing well. i get super sick. i was taking about 150mg-300mg of oxy a day. now down to about 20-50 and 3x 5g doses of kratom. god opiates are rough.
@@newp0rt you have to take it like every 3 or 4 hours every single time for the first few days after that space it out and continue to taper. That's the only way to prevent the severe withdrawal.
Jonathan Velder, Yeah, if you didn't add water to mix the highly water soluble opioids up in case of hot-spots, use the buddy system & use micron filters if you administered via IV, sure, but only junkies don't do that shit.
True Kash, Typically red vein is what opi users use. The rest are brands essentially, but I've heard good things about Mang De red vein kratom. One teaspoon is approximately two grams of powdered kratom, and most take 8-16grams per dose, IIRC. Hit up 420chan's opiate board if you wish to ask & inquire more.
Michael Hodgden people who defend opiates are always lying to themselves that they aren’t on their way out the door. You’re not gonna have some miracle realization that you’re about to od before you do. Smoke grass tweaker
Bruokoli, You won't know that you're psychologically addicted to cannabis until you are either. Opioids are HIGHLY water soluble, meaning simple water will distibute it evenly - There are four cornerstones to prevent opi OD's: 1) Don't fucking mix or add any other respiratory depressants. 2) Add water to distribute all opioids evenly in whatever you're taking, as there are even pressed pills out there. 3) Measure out one-eighth of said solution as a tester dose via prefered ROA and juxtapose strength through said volumetric dosage. 4) Use the fucking buddy system with naloxone at hand. I've hypothetically been using for over ten years and only OD'd once when I used a completely legal fentalogue RC. Never happened with any morphinan. Not to mention EtOH (Drinking Alcohol) is more lethal than all illegal, recreational drugs combined annually. Opioids don't damage the brain or liver like EtOH does nor does it produce excessive insulin which is also damaging through excessive amounts of carbs like EtOH does. Oh, did I mention how cancerous EtOH is? I'd rather OD and die and be done with it than loose my mind, need a new liver and/or acquire cancer or diabetes. Also, tweaker or tweeker is for stim users. And just for future reference, there's a major diference between junkie & addict, and it ain't what drug they use either; what do you think you strive for? - Not an accomplishment but the release of endogenous chemicals, the accomplishment is just the drug to release endogenous neurotransmitters.
Still had withdrawals from kraaaa tom. But I’ve also used it to detox from harder drugs. Saved my life. It’s a step down the ladder. You could also say it’s a step UP the ladder. Drugs make you feel great, everything needs to be used in balance or consideration
The contest Joe was speaking of was the Hold your wee for a Wii radio competition, it was not sheerly the fact they drank water but because they were not allowed to use the restroom for the entire duration of the contest, it was a dangerous combination.
Been taking kratom for 4+ years now. About 7 Years ago got really sick with Lyme disease. Between $300/ hour specialist and my doctor I was told id have shaking/tremors/ seizures for the rest of my life. Thing got easier but they were always there. Buddy told me about kratom for energy. Ended up trying it and it’s the only thing that takes the shaking, seizures away. Tried everything doctors prescribed and nothing worked. Kratom basically gave me my life back again. Also got off alcohol because of kratom.

The woman who died with water was competing for a Nintendo Wii in a comp called "hold your wee for a Wii". The idea was drinking lots of water and last one to pee would win the console. Was pretty dangerous in hindsight.
Same thing with ephedra/Xenadrine. Took that stuff for years and lost weight. When you took more than a recommended dose, you could really feel the difference and I think that was the problem. People were taking way too much at once. That product was great.
"People should be allowed to take drugs so long as they are educated about the risk" is about how I see it. We take that approach with skydiving, so why not drugs?
Because they can't justify spending millions of taxpayer dollars fighting skydiving like they did with the drug alchahol but they figured out something way more peofitable 80 years ago.
Drug users will stop at nothing to justify their abuse. I've yet to meet one person who has taken drugs responsibly. They always want that mile when all they needed was an inch. Responsible drug use is meant to just get the job done and make you feel normal, it's not supposed to make you feel amazing. I.e. Joe taking 8 pills instead if two. It is 100% in our nature to abuse drugs. There's nothing to justify.
Screw up on skydiving your died no skin off the government budget. Mess up with drugs you could be addicted and then put on government programs costing money or brain dead and on life support costing the system again. Ppl don't understand about their shitty actions tax the system we are all apart of. Something's just cause more issues down stream and ppl don't get it. Fuck socialism but a lot of ppl can't handle freedom because when they mess up they expect a hand out from the government. Balance shit out by force in a Democratic way. You have to get rid of the hand outs so ppl can't fall back onto the system which I think that net is to broad for fuck ups.
@@descripto2586 many drugs will rewire your brain to justify taking it. They get extremely defensive They'll push it onto other people without even realizing what they're doing because their brains are subconsciously thinking if someone else is doing it then it isnt so bad for me to do it. Everyone overestimates their own willpower and when drug users try to argue moderation theyre talking about some utopian user that might hypothetically exist, but it isnt representative of their actual usage. There is no moderation. People who say they use in moderation are usually just addicts in denial, and if you pay attention to them it becomes very obvious. It's scary stuff when you learn how to recognize the addicts defensive response.

Kratom has certainly helped a lot of people with harm reduction from opioid addiction, but for me, I'd never been an addict until I started taking it. The physical and mental issues that come with it after years of use is something more people should be aware of. The quittingkratom subreddit isn't just fear mongering.
Amen, that subreddit is a huge wake up call and I am frequently on it. Actually quitting kratom after years of taking it is extremely tough
Kratom ain't shit do some real drugs

There you go trying to restrict kratom with laws. Just like big pharma.
Heroin saved my life, helped me get off Kratom
Thats seriously not funny
Kratom got me off of pain medication in the past, and then I stopped taking thd kratom and then has no withdrawals. Kratom saves lives, it is no killer. Besides if you start mixing stuff anything can kill you. Like idiots that get drunk while taking oxycontin. Since that happens on a by the minute basis now...Should we make booze illegal because people love to mix that with drugs of all types, or should the oxycontin be illegal because it wipes out about 40,000 people a year. Yet, it remains legal. Should it be banned?

But then there is that feeling of comtempt is really slippery,
I noticed way back when i abused it for 3 months i noticed my sleep, sex drive and mental health would crash after just a 1 week of use.
Like i would get mad for small shit even doe im down to earth.
Now i know that abusing it is the reason i got addicted,
But the thing is i used like only 2-4 grams twice a day and that is a regular ass dose.

How hard was it to get off of Kratom for you? I'm very interested in doing this!!
@@alisac.1560 I just used it for the first two weeks to get past PAWS and stopped with no withdrawal.
But thank you man, congrats to you as well
If you mix it with vanilla flavored oat milk the taste isn't bad at all. I couldn't do kratom until I finally found out this amazing combination.
The problem is the patients were not aware of the risk of opioids, if the doctors were honest, the patients probably wouldn’t have taken it
My son has been clean for 2 yrs after starting Kratom. I would truly panic if this was illegal in Canada. Having my son back is the amazing!
If it ever happens find me on Facebook I live in California I'll send it to u

You start feeling normal relatively quickly (within 3-7 days)..but those first few days suck. I can't even explain the discomfort. Effects your bladder too. Felt like I constantly had to pee and nothing happened. I'd honestly rather be in a good deal of pain vs dealing with that again.

Jonathan Velder, Yeah, if you didn't add water to mix the highly water soluble opioids up in case of hot-spots, use the buddy system & use micron filters if you administered via IV, sure, but only junkies don't do that shit.
What kind should be used
True Kash, Typically red vein is what opi users use.

Have you heard about dietary supplements?

This is probably the best one
Fucking solid
I see what you did there, and I respect it greatly!
Nice 😂

They're all lame unoriginal bullshit
They should be ashamed of them fucking selves
"People should be allowed to take drugs so long as they are educated about the risk" is about how I see it. We take that approach with skydiving, so why not drugs?
Because they can't justify spending millions of taxpayer dollars fighting skydiving like they did with the drug alchahol but they figured out something way more peofitable 80 years ago.
Big government hasn't figured out a way to get a piece of the pie yet
Your own mind will work against you to convince yourself its okay to take the drug
In order to deal with the cognitive dissonance of being an addict drug users will lash out at anything critical of their usage of the drug or the effects of the drug. They get extremely defensive
They'll push it onto other people without even realizing what they're doing because their brains are subconsciously thinking if someone else is doing it then it isnt so bad for me to do it.
I’ve been doing a Kilo a month for like 2 years. No negative side effects.
I went to South Carolina for vacation. And one time I bought a pack from one of those stores on the strip...I didn't know any better. Never took pills, beside a pain pill one time(threw up, never did it again hated it)...so pack said take 5. Took 5 like it said, went to dinner...couldn't eat, sweating at my table... had to run out side throw up. And then crawled to my car and went to sleep till rest of my friends were done eating...those things are absolutely a drug lol.
