@@Techtablets I apologize for requesting anything! I can tell you work very hard, and it doesn't go unnoticed. I appreciate you getting back to me, thank you.
Pre-ordered 14 Ultra and currently waiting for delivery. Looks like UK is getting the best deal. Here in Thailand, I'm getting Free Photography kit, 120W charger and 24 months full warranty. And 1 free screen replacement within 6 month (I think we all get this globally).
I can appreciate how stabilized those zoom cameras are on those Chinese brand phones. This is the reason why I still do miss Huawei innovations. Thank you for filming this video. I might say the Vivo100Pro is better for photos and the Xiaomi a bit more better in videos.
Hi Chris, great review but if you have the chinese version, the photo algorithm and color processing is different from the global version espacially when taking a photo for a human subject (chineses like white skin, smooth and bright photos) and you mentioned that in your review...the question is : isn't the global version available yet?
Love your videos, especially the comparisons! Glad I bought the vivo a few weeks ago. Really pleased with the photos I'm getting from it. I find myself using the 10x zoom a lot and that really delivers. Incredible considering that fits in your pocket
Hi, thank you for this review! Can I ask you - did you hear some weird buzzing sound in the phone that you used for the review like there is something broken or detached in the camera? I got the blue chinese version and I can hear it.
Yes it's the lens focusing I think or OIS moving about and a bug I have no data working 5G or 4G even if enable it will stop working. Have you experienced this issue? Turning on flight mode and off again fixes it but it's not good.
Another awesome video Chris. I'd absolutely love to see you compare it to the oppo find x7 ultra and the vivo x100 pro but understand if you dont. Be good to see your full review anyway
First off, great video! I love these deep-dive detailed videos. I sold my 13 Ultra exactly for what you said about the 14 Ultra, photos were a hit and miss for me. Sometimes they'd look great, other time not so much...at all. Tell you one thing, Xiaomi won't be thanking you for this one.😅 Which is great, means you tell it like it is, and not to suck up to these companies.
Thanks for the review. Does GoogleOne backup and restore work with the CN rom? I refuse to use a CN server to store my data. I don’t see you mention this on any of your reviews. maybe I missed it.
Alright my friend, thank you for this wonderful video. However, I have a question and I need a frank answer to it. Do you truly recommend the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for using it to shoot video for professional content creation? Will it provide truly professional video recording with very high quality? Please answer me with complete clarity. And thank you in advance .
I'm glad you pulled out the Vivo near the end there. Got worried for a moment lol I think I may wait for the Vivo X100 Pro+ or whatever they call it. The regular Pro still seems pretty baller though.
Your videos are about point & shoot and that's ok. People who use point and shoot still take multiple photos to capture the moment in the best way possible. For things like the zoom shot, it's difficult to believe that was the best photo from a batch. It would add more credibility to your videos in general to show a couple of shots for each camera. The reward-to-work ratio here seems like a win-win too. A couple of extra seconds to snap a few shots on each location / setting, maybe an extra 10 minutes editing to include them in the video with the result being a video that feels more complete and trustworthy. Other youtubes have indeed achieved better results than you show with the 14U in general. Maybe they're fanboys tryharding, maybe they were paid by Xiaomi, impossible to know. All you can do is continue to improve your own content and give your videos as authentic a feeling as possible.
@@Techtabletsthank you for your reply. Vivo is hard to beat but not easy to obtain a global version which is important to me. Aside from the Vivo which would you recommend? Many thanks..
I'm quite interested in the curved screen corners instead of just the sides, while previously people are concerned with only two parts, it could be eight now, at least four (with the top, but probably more with the bottom). How do you find that one? Also, got any Xiaomi tablet? Can you confirm director mode work with them? Because my in Chinese 13 Pro, it can't with my Global Pad 6. It would help a lot for making content because the tablet can be a nice viewfinder while recording using the back camera. Last but not least, why didn't you test the smart noise reduction feature in the camera?
Maybe but since it's not global it will get poor views and YT will kill it off, not going to be worth all that work. But I have a camera comparison up and coming uploading soon. This Vs S24 Ultra and iP15 Pro Max.
Killed it in 6 hours shooting video and photos yesterday but so far seems like about 7-8 hours SOT with 5G. Overnight it lost 3% battery drain which wasn't bad. Because my fixed battery test keeps being killed off by HyperOS I can't get that result to compared it to others.
Some suggestions for future comparison video: 1. change picture quality from High to Super. 2. turn on smart noise reduction on windy days. 3.test the Ultra Zoom feature (AI telephoto) in the daytime and above 30X zoom level, otherwise it wouldn't enable. 4. try UltraRAW format, will offer a surprise. 5. there's a Sunlight mode to boost the brightness after you turn off auto brightness.
Thanks for the tips! Point 3. I did test over 30x and still very poor. Points 1,2 & 4. I cover the phones default settings in camera and auto for comparisons otherwise it's unfair if I tweaked one better than the other right?. 5. One shot is manual max brightness and sunlight mode on. Still no 3000 nits. Still duller than the iPhone and Galaxy S24U.
You have no idea what you're talking about! I don't know what problems you will have with Xiaomi, but the 14 ultra is one of the 3 best phones that exist right now in quality of video and photography cameras. I can say this categorically because I have tested the vivo x100 pro, the OPPO find X7 ultra, the iPhone 15 pro Max and the oneplus 12. For me it would be the second or third best phone of these... Any of them are excellent and it is absurd to want to say that this phone is below the others. I suppose you have some problem with Xiaomi and have wanted to discredit Xiaomi's excellent work. Remember that Xiaomi still has no updates and vivo has already had 4 or 5 with which they continued to improve the cameras. Of all of them I would stay with OPPO find X7 ultra or Xiaomi 14 ultra.
Thank you for the videos. What would you do, go for Vivo X100 pro or hope Xiaomi will fix all software problems with the cameras? I see so much potential in Xioami 14 Ultra, but Vivo pictures are amazing.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Hyper OS has the Multiple Users feature however, it doesn't allow me to create a new user instead it only creates a guest user, is it because the ROM that I have is a global version? It can be found under: Settings: About phone: Tap multiple times on Hyperos version to activate the Developer options: Go to additional settings: Developer options: Go all the way down and tap multiple times on ,Reset to default values, until you see another option below it called ,Turn on system optimization, Turn off ,Turn on system optimization, and accept. The Multiple users will be available in the main settings page then. Confirm if you can add another user (not guest) The Multiple Users feature allows users to create more than 2 separate spaces and each space has different settings, games and data. Thank you mate and waiting for your amazing confirmation.
Exactly it does, it's just like beta camera software right now. I don't have the patience to wait for 5 updates and 5 months for them to fix everything.
Great review, still awaiting arrival of the Global 14 Ultra here in the UK, comes with camera kit and a Xiaomi iPad type thingy to soften the blow of the cost...glad to hear haptics are good, I thought they are really weak on my 13 Ultra
I've seen your 14 Ultra coverage, which is very nice 8-) but I really fear your unit might have some lens issue. Many shots are not sharp enough compared to other 1" sensors, like this Vivo. I'd advice checking that out!
Only thing I have a complaint about the X100 Pro is the oversharpening, if I could've turned down the sharpening like the option in Samsung's Camera Assistant or if Vivo made the sharpening closer to the Xiaomi's level it really would've been perfect. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is great but the Vivo is just a tad better in everything except for the sharpening, it just feels so much nicer to look at the Xiaomi's photo due to the softness. Maybe it's just me. Also, at 26:00, doesn't the Xiaomi have variable aperture? Like if you can't focus you can just make the aperture narrow and get less depth of field and have more in focus right? Anyways, I have a question, can you try out the portrait mode types/modes available and make a comparison with the Color presets like the Leica Authentic and Vibrant, etc. and maybe filters too? Because I think at the end of the day, most people and even photographers tend to use filters to spice up their photos quickly without much time consuming editing. Like so many photographers use LUTs and stuff yk. I know that'd make the reviews longer but why not have a review for the phone in general and then have a review for the cameras separately for phones like this, the Find X7 Ultra and the X100 Pro? Finally, if you have a lux meter, you can try a few things. 100% white, 18% white, 10% white and a highlight in an HDR video and then measure the white points of those with a light flashing towards the camera/the light sensor. This would show the theoretical peak brightness under the sun in those conditions where the phone is showing 100% white, 18% white, 10% white and a highlight in an HDR video. Just giving some ideas. Notebookcheck found VIvo's display can go close to 3k nits in HDR and so can Xiaomi's 14 Pro.
That was a pretty thorough and informative review. I especially line how you never give in to the hype. 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Will you be reviewing the "Redmi K70 Ultra" when it comes out? Also, as a personal question: which phones do you see as worthy alternatives to the "Xiaomi 13T" in its price/camera/performance balance?
Hii sir. I am using Oneplus open right now, but not very happy with the saturated colour and dismal video camera. Which one i should go for? Vivo x100 pro or Xiaomi 14 ultra? I am a makeup artist, and i need detailed pictures.
Great review, thank you! I ordered on on pre-order so I am getting the photography kit too. It will be my first Xiaomi phone, this 14 series may be the first series from Xiaomi where everything is thought out good enough. Things like 4k upscaling and calling that 8k is weird, overexposure and wind noise is indeed a major issue (although every Xiaomi phone has that). I think I will be using the main camera most of the time, and I will have to get used to setting the EV to at least -0.3 or -0.7 by default. Time will tell whether the phone really proves it's huge price point. At first, I wanted a Vivo X100 Pro, but I can only get the Chinese version here in the EU and I use Android Auto a lot. Vivo's camera is way ahead in a lot of cases, but the software and updates are questionable.
Hi sir, I wanna ask what phone is good for both gaming and camera? (I'm heavy on both side) I think on taking the Xiaomi 14 Ultra but after seeing this video I kind of second guessing myself, I hope you and the people in the comment section could help me ( I want to use as a primary phone and for long term )
I am a professional photographer. If you are a photography enthusiast or photographer, I strongly recommend 14u. The reason is that this tester is a digital blogger, not a photographer. His basic design of 14u is a belt-tethered camera. Knowing nothing about phone-powered cameras, what photographer would use the automatic mode of the phone's algorithm to take jpg photos? If you have played with a SLR, you should know that as a photographer it is impossible to shoot creations in jpg format. This is the essence of 14u. It supports 16-bit color ultraraw mode and up to 14 stops of raw exposure bracketing, and supports mobile phones. It is similar to the workflow of lightroom on the computer, but this tester knows nothing about it and has not even compared the raw and ultraraw modes of 14u and vivo. I can tell you my personal test results, both in terms of resolution and dynamics. In terms of range, the 14u ultraraw beats the vivo. It is not on the same level at all. It can even be compared with the sonya7m3 mirrorless camera. Of course, this is not the fault of the tester, because the tester is not a photographer, but a digital blogger. It is very common for the lack of professional knowledge to lead to wrong opinions. The Er 14u is designed from the perspective of camera users. .
As a photographer, I think the key to Xiaomi 14ultra defeating vivo lies in the idea. Xiaomi 14ultra provides 4 focal lengths of dual telephoto macro coverage, covering basically all focal lengths. Vivo does not have the color of Xiaomi 14’s 4 focal lengths. The consistency and white balance are better than vivo. Xiaomi provides an amazing 16-bit color ultraraw mode on lyt900. As far as I know, this is to use multiple raw formats for exposure bracketing, providing extremely high-quality photos and It has great light tolerance, can record more details of highlights and shadows, and supports lightroom workflow on mobile phones and PCs. This time 14ultra also provides ev adjustment buttons, which is very useful. 14ultra provides log on videos. mode, and supports the application of 709 restoration lut monitoring during preview shooting, so I personally think that the 14u mobile phone is a lightweight mobile phone choice for photographers when traveling. It is a camera with mobile phone functions, while vivo is just a mobile phone toy. All these experiences are what I got from the Chinese version of 14u.
@@Kenkiller1-2000 I see, seems like it's a good decision to pre-order it. I see that in many comparison the Vivo relies to much on the A.I compared to Xiaomi and those variable setting on Xiaomi is a smart move for sure. I will surely give it a try after getting my hand on it, thank you very much. (Side note) I do use some professional camera (while not always but I understand what you mean, every settings has their own characteristic hence every result is differ from one another. I have 11t pro and it never disappoint me.
Am I understanding correctly that recording calls is possible? Is it also possible on Vivo phones? After reading your review, I'm torn between buying Vivo or Xiaomi. I care about photo and video quality.
You mentioned about the weight difference, I am not sure where you saw the 220g, I think you are talking about the global version (219.8g). However, your version, as you said yourself, is the Chinese one, which has a bigger battery, so I can imagine that the extra 300mA on the battery will be why yours is heavier.
Thanks for your amazing review. Do you know if the vivo x100 pro works our in sunlight taking lots of videos s pictures? I have rhe x80 pro and it's awful for overheating in warm weather or whenever i take multiple back to bavk videos. It freezes, crashes, and just stops taking videos or pictures. I literally feel the phone burning up in my hand. I want to buy the x100 pro but im scared ill have the same issue.
Sucks that the API2 compatibility is not all that... been seeing a lot of recent phones that don't play well with third party apps (some of them can't access new teles at all!). Xiaomi has always had excellent hardware that gives you a whole lot to work with when using third party software. Surprised the X100 still outdoes it, but not really... Vivo has been killing it with the software processing since the X80, and they deserve the recognition for putting out some of the best, most natural looking photos out there.
The camera quality can possibly be improved with further updates but what I'm worried about is the screen brightness. It should be brighter than both the iPhone and Samsung but it doesn't seem to be the case
27:58 I was half expecting a gun he he "this is my argument." Joke aside this is a very useful walkthrough because you are really paying attention to detail, not in the pixel peeping way but in the photographic sense. The photographs from the Vivo indeed look with a different ("better" or "worse" in most cases is subjective) judgement in the software, one I like, although I could be biased because I always tried to have their lenses since they were Carl Zeiss.
Since I love the range of tech you re reviewing and the seemingly unbiased opinion on every single piece of it, I would like to ask your inisight! Unfortunately noone has reviewed the global version of the 14 ultra yet. The preorder period is almost finishing and the free bundle that is being offered seems a nice catch! I wanna go to a phone that has good zoom capabilities. Since I don't wanna go to chinese roms ( for the few things they are missing ), where should i turn ? get the xiaomi 14 ultra with feedback just from the chinese version ? go the s24 ultra ( last samsung i had was the SIII ) jump for the first time to the iOS ship ? ( hate the lack of UI customization, no app drawer and no workarounds on some things ) or whatelse ? things with global versions on VIVO phones and OPPO are still unclear
Global version is under embargo because Xiaomi knows the software needs a lot of work it's to give them time for fixing up the camera performance. I recommend the X100 Pro global version if you can for the best zoom photo and video at 4.3x. Mines the Chinese version so the global should be better I assume. The S24U is much better now the cameras but the X100 Pro is better at stills iPhones still have the smoothest and best-looking main camera and ultra video. However, not zoom video.
Also the 14 Ultra pre-orders will not ship anywhere until March 15 to March 19. I'm expecting the internet will light up with reviews/images/details about then.
@@Techtablets wow thanks for the ultra fast response! where you would buy the global vivo from though !? I never had a dimensity powered phone before. Should i trust it ?!
@@richardb20 that's the least of the problem. I am just thinking that if I am going for the 14 ultra why not getting the grip as a gift as well. I wouldnt buy it alone and for sure it will help a lot for travel photography! in uk they are giving a mi pad 6 as well ! not bad. but if it's still not higher than the rest of competition why bother spend 1500 euros?
@@nomikism I understand, In the UK we did get a pretty good launch day deal (50GBP discount, free photography kit, free tablet. free screen replacement for 6 months). I bought it based on the marketing and specs and Leica badge, time will tell if I made a good choice. As others have mentioned, it will be great if Xiaomi tune the cameras better, if not, I can always sell it I guess.
Very good video bro u don't sellout like others saying it's the best and kills the S24 and iphones. Now pls pixel 8 pro vs x100 pro, find x7 ultra and S24 ultra with new updates.
I know it may maybe asking too much, but you could make some pro-mode versions of camera reviews. Then, we could see the camera differences beyond the usual "point and shoot" when compared to other ones. For Xiaomi, especially, I think the pro camera is better than the Samsung or iPhone on getting details and everything else
I feel this camera review contradicts every other camera review I've read / watched of this phone... Something's off 😅 Maybe because its not the global variant and has outdated software
Still Confused between s24 ultra and 14 ultra. In flagship category, performance is always there but camera is one of my needs to get a new phone. Looking forward to your camera comparison.
I wish someone would do a review of settings, like wallpapers, charge animation, finger print animation, etc, i guess I'll get the phone before that happens
Ive bought the 14 ultra global from the uk site with a free mi pad 6 and photography kit. Got it for 750 as im trading my 12s ultra for £500. I believe that xiaomis camera set up is definitely more capable, however it requires more tinkering, vivos/oppos offerings are bery much geared towars thr average social media user i think, not to say that xiaomis isnt tho, theyll release some updates for it for sure
A really nice option to make it a point n shoot camera with the hardware add on. However, Xiaomi will have to do quite some software updates to equal vivo X100pro. Xiaomi’s 1” camera sensor might be a tad newer version but vivo counters with incredible software in its dedicated V3 chip and Zeiss lens coating.
The Xiaomi has three major imaging drawbacks vs the Vivo I can see: 1. lenses are not as good - the Xiaomi is using some plastic lens elements it seems, so even though faster they are not as precise as the zeiss glass lenses 2. colour science and exposure in Zeiss is debatably more pleasing to most people 3. V3 chipset really leverages computation power in image processing. Vivo are treading a fine line in the sharpening, but they arguably get it right
I wholeheartedly agree 💯 with your insights that's exactly what I've been thinking. Zeiss is think is overall more pleasing than Leica which I find can be a bit too moody and contrasty in some scenarios. White balance is also out the window with some of the shots.
In landscapes the clouds look artificial, actually the entire sky looks like it had been pasted in. Then there is a strange white fringe around the trees on some shots. I find that the difference to the Yivo is stark, not small.

Thanks Chris you are really phones reviewer not a marketer .
How much price please
how is it now? mine is arriving today. got the black global version for 823 euros
In terms of cameras, you prefer the X100 Pro over the Find X7 Ultra?
I do, I found the X100 Pro was better.
One small question is there any hardware to protect our privacy..what about NPU...SYSTEM
No doubts about this being the No1 camera phone of the year
Depends how much they pay Dxomark to make it number 1 🤔 :D
I can appreciate how stabilized those zoom cameras are on those Chinese brand phones. This is the reason why I still do miss Huawei innovations.
Thank you for filming this video. I might say the Vivo100Pro is better for photos and the Xiaomi a bit more better in videos.
Hi Chris, great review but if you have the chinese version, the photo algorithm and color processing is different from the global version espacially when taking a photo for a human subject (chineses like white skin, smooth and bright photos) and you mentioned that in your review...the question is : isn't the global version available yet?
Not till the 18th for the global version. Yes skin tones is the big difference the rest the same more or less.
Love your videos, especially the comparisons! Glad I bought the vivo a few weeks ago. Really pleased with the photos I'm getting from it. I find myself using the 10x zoom a lot and that really delivers. Incredible considering that fits in your pocket
Best tech review on youtube
Hi, thank you for this review!
Can I ask you - did you hear some weird buzzing sound in the phone that you used for the review like there is something broken or detached in the camera? I got the blue chinese version and I can hear it.
Yes it's the lens focusing I think or OIS moving about and a bug I have no data working 5G or 4G even if enable it will stop working. Have you experienced this issue? Turning on flight mode and off again fixes it but it's not good.
I've been waiting for your review ever since it was released on the market.
Another awesome video Chris. I'd absolutely love to see you compare it to the oppo find x7 ultra and the vivo x100 pro but understand if you dont. Be good to see your full review anyway
Imo, Zeiss has always had the better colour science over others.
Always and it shows.
Thanks for your honesty you are an awesome reviewer
Got worried for a moment lol
I think I may wait for the Vivo X100 Pro+ or whatever they call it. The regular Pro still seems pretty baller though.
This is my dream mobile ireally love it i hope can buy it
Thanks for the video
No problem!
Very good review thank you man
Your videos are about point & shoot and that's ok.
22:30 is the sky colouring off? Looks a bit fake to me -- or maybe thats just cause i havent seen blue skies in a while ...
Not quite perfect but close it just rained so very clear and blue.
Great review as always Chris. Money aside would you recommend the s24 ultra, one plus 12 or the 14 ultra if you just want an excellent camera?
Vivo X100 Pro for the best cameras for still right now.
@@Techtabletsthank you for your reply. Vivo is hard to beat but not easy to obtain a global version which is important to me. Aside from the Vivo which would you recommend? Many thanks..
Thee Oneplus is really good for the price. Decent cameras but not always the best.
@@Techtablets... Thanks Chris !
Any plans to compare this and the Oppo Find X7 Ultra? I saw that it has new updates to fix and tweak the camera. Thanks Chris!
Maybe but since it's not global it will get poor views and YT will kill it off, not going to be worth all that work. But I have a camera comparison up and coming uploading soon. This Vs S24 Ultra and iP15 Pro Max.
Hi Chris, what about battery life?
Killed it in 6 hours shooting video and photos yesterday but so far seems like about 7-8 hours SOT with 5G. Overnight it lost 3% battery drain which wasn't bad. Because my fixed battery test keeps being killed off by HyperOS I can't get that result to compared it to others.
@@Techtablets thank you 🙏
Some suggestions for future comparison video: 1. change picture quality from High to Super. 2. turn on smart noise reduction on windy days.
I see it has huge potential but it's really hard to see what camera updates will do.
@@Techtablets is very frustrating when the camera kitt offer ends soon and nobody can say what it will be.
Sure is.
does it have air gestures like honor magic 6 pro?
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Hyper OS has the Multiple Users feature however, it doesn't allow me to create a new user instead it only creates a guest user, is it because the ROM that I have is a global version?
It can be found under:
Settings:
About phone:
Tap multiple times on Hyperos version to activate the Developer options:
Go to additional settings:
Developer options:
Go all the way down and tap multiple times on ,Reset to default values, until you see another option below it called ,Turn on system optimization,
Turn off ,Turn on system optimization, and accept.
The Multiple users will be available in the main settings page then.
Confirm if you can add another user (not guest)
The Multiple Users feature allows users to create more than 2 separate spaces and each space has different settings, games and data.
Thank you mate and waiting for your amazing confirmation.
is that grip applicable to any phone?
Yes but on the shutter button works, nothing else.
Was that really the best 30x zoom picture you could take? My Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra takes wayyy better 30x zoom pictures than that
Exactly it does, it's just like beta camera software right now. I don't have the patience to wait for 5 updates and 5 months for them to fix everything.
Roll on the 18th, still waiting for my delivery, with camera kit and tablet
Great well enjoy I hope the global firmware is way better than this.
Great review, still awaiting arrival of the Global 14 Ultra here in the UK, comes with camera kit and a Xiaomi iPad type thingy to soften the blow of the cost...glad to hear haptics are good, I thought they are really weak on my 13 Ultra
I'm waiting too, wishing the days away lol
I've seen your 14 Ultra coverage, which is very nice 8-) but I really fear your unit might have some lens issue. Many shots are not sharp enough compared to other 1" sensors, like this Vivo. I'd advice checking that out!
Must be a faulty phone.
Im a bit worried about that manual shutter at main camera, cause its a moving quite big part, that it will break with time.
The 5x zoom rattle a lot but not the main camera.
@@Techtablets one drop in the floor may destroy such delicate moving parts
Hey Chris, I can't seem to find it anywhere, but can the 13 Ultra shoot full 50mp RAW DNG on all lenses, like the Pixel 8 Pro?
Just main camera I think.
50MP ON all camera
Hi, does the 14 Ultra support 4k 60 with Dolby Vision/HDR?
4k30 and yes 4k60 Dolby Vision
@@Techtablets okay thank you
Only thing I have a complaint about the X100 Pro is the oversharpening, if I could've turned down the sharpening like the option in Samsung's Camera Assistant or if Vivo made the sharpening closer to the Xiaomi's level it really would've been perfect.
Yes the sharping in some shots is a little overboard.
That was a pretty thorough and informative review. I especially line how you never give in to the hype. 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Will you be reviewing the "Redmi K70 Ultra" when it comes out?
Also, as a personal question: which phones do you see as worthy alternatives to the "Xiaomi 13T" in its price/camera/performance balance?
Wow watching from Bahrain Thanks
Hii sir. I am using Oneplus open right now, but not very happy with the saturated colour and dismal video camera. Which one i should go for? Vivo x100 pro or Xiaomi 14 ultra? I am a makeup artist, and i need detailed pictures.
X100 Pro for great pictures is Zeiss mode. X100 Pro video isn't the best but better than the OnePlus Open for sure.
I would like a X7 Ultra vs 14 Ultra vs X100 Pro camera comparison
Iam getting this phone in 2weeks with the kit firc850 British pounds so not bad cant wait
Vivo had had two updates in the last week but yes normally very slow. Android auto I have with my Vivo luckily being a global unit.
(Side note)
I do use some professional camera (while not always but I understand what you mean, every settings has their own characteristic hence every result is differ from one another. I have 11t pro and it never disappoint me.
Am I understanding correctly that recording calls is possible? Is it also possible on Vivo phones? After reading your review, I'm torn between buying Vivo or Xiaomi. I care about photo and video quality.
Only the Chinese version. My global version x100 pro doesn't have it.
You mentioned about the weight difference, I am not sure where you saw the 220g, I think you are talking about the global version (219.8g). However, your version, as you said yourself, is the Chinese one, which has a bigger battery, so I can imagine that the extra 300mA on the battery will be why yours is heavier.
Good point & I missed that I was looking at the wrong specs.
I've not experienced that with the x100 pro. No overheating after many photos and 4k video.
Brilliant, that's good to know. Thank you so much
You need to change your weighing scale, you're the only reviewer I see with the 14U with that 230 weight
would be cool if you tested the MotionCam Pro beta on that phone
is it possible to seemlessly switch cameras WHILE recording in 4k60 ?
Yes all rear cameras 4k30 and 4k60. But not 8k.
Yes it's not sadly brighter but should be.
I really like your review.
But can it shoot 50MP Raw with all cameras? I've been searching the entire internet for an answer, can't find it anywhere😩
Since I don't wanna go to chinese roms ( for the few things they are missing ), where should i turn ?
get the xiaomi 14 ultra with feedback just from the chinese version ?
go the s24 ultra ( last samsung i had was the SIII )
jump for the first time to the iOS ship ? ( hate the lack of UI customization, no app drawer and no workarounds on some things )
or whatelse ?
things with global versions on VIVO phones and OPPO are still unclear
Global version is under embargo because Xiaomi knows the software needs a lot of work it's to give them time for fixing up the camera performance. I recommend the X100 Pro global version if you can for the best zoom photo and video at 4.3x.
Mines the Chinese version so the global should be better I assume.
The S24U is much better now the cameras but the X100 Pro is better at stills
iPhones still have the smoothest and best-looking main camera and ultra video.

How many floating windows can you have open at the same time? Also how do the maxed out manual brightness and haptics compare to the S24 and 15 pro?
Haptics is better than them, screens I showed in the screen test part.
@@Techtablets Oh I must’ve just mistaken the comparison at 13:37 to be with auto brightness on. I see thanks for letting me know.
The Xiaomi has three major imaging drawbacks vs the Vivo I can see:
1. lenses are not as good - the Xiaomi is using some plastic lens elements it seems, so even though faster they are not as precise as the zeiss glass lenses
2. colour science and exposure in Zeiss is debatably more pleasing to most people
How to force HDR on main camera? Thx
Just tap and turn it on in the main camera viewfinder screen.
