For everyone asking about gas mileage. I have the 5.7 with the 5 spd and I average mid 20’s. I have gotten into the upper 20’s on road trips if I drive sensibly. The problem is I don’t like driving sensibly, it isn’t any fun.

I personally owned a 2015 Challenger SXT Plus and traded it for the 2019 Challenger Rt Plus. These are great cars and roomy . The power of the V6 isn't something to laugh at just because you don't have a HEMI. I loved that car had less than 10k mileage on 2015 . Decided to upgrade to Hemi just cause i could. I am not disappointed in 5.7 Hemi. You don't have to sink yourself into debt just to have a great drive. Thank you Racer X for us RT lovers!! sincerely
@@agent47idk15 I can share insurance quotes for the SXT and R/T Charger. I was quoted$148/month for the R/T and $138/month for the SXT. Pretty much pocket change difference. Beleive it or not, the Chrysler 300 model S with 5.7 hemi engine was also $138/month like the SXT Charger.

November 2020 I bought a 18 Charger GT, and I was involved in a wreck. A month later I bought a ‘19 Charger R/T. Best car purchase I have ever made. I drove it from Maryland to Alabama and back. Great car! My brother has a 2020 Challenger Scat Pack! We love Dodges! Great information in your videos @RacerX!
I just got a 2022 white Charger r/t with the black rims and badges and sunroof. I love the car, only thing that sucks is that it didnt come with leather seats. Wat about yours?
I had a 12 SXT Challenger and went to a 18 R/T Challenger, the upgrade was well worth it. I have to agree with everything you said about this trim level. The R/T is a great daily driver and a great platform for just about anyone. My R/T was built with just about everything in a Scat but the motor. Love the channel, keep creating great content.
Totally want one for my next daily driver. I agree it's the perfect combo of fun and still practical. The scatpack is awesome but if I feel that's better suited as a weekend toy/track car.
I own a 2015 Charger RT road and track in b5 blue. Love my car to death. I got it 3 months ago at just under $20k with 40k miles. The car is fully optioned aside from adaptive cruise control. It looks super aggressive with satin black wheels and tint, and has pretty much everything you can ask for. RTs are an amazing in between car and give u an opportunity to really learn about mopar before jumping into higher maintenance cars like hellcats and scatpacks!
Awesome video. Thanks for shedding some light on the R/T. It's a real diamond in the rough in the car culture. You nailed the R/T's purpose dead on. Good stuff man 👍
@@outcast9784 i love it. Definitely enough power for the streets and freeway. But if you wanna race, you should get a scatpack or a higher trim level V8
My guy I see this video was shot 3 years ago and at the end you said "we'll get over this virus thing soon". Well unfortunately im sitting here watching your video WITH THE VIRUS (COVID) lol. Very good info, I think you've just helped me make my decision (RT)!!
From Challenger Hellcat, to 392, to now an RT and couldn’t be happier and agree with this video review! Very practical and fun without every asshole asking me to race or do burnouts..
@@just_a5.7 It’s all about the eye of the driver.. I loved them, cost was not an issue in any of my decisions such as gas, insurance, etc. Hellcat, too much power for a daily for ME. 392, same thing , I just don’t need it.. It’s just personal choice, RT is right car for me just through process of elimination. Good luck with your choice!
I originally wanted a Pontiac GTO, but upon scouring the internet and seeing an ad for the Charger, I decided to check what they're up to these days. Been in love ever since, found a 2019 GT Charger in my area for $26k, hoping to talk them down, pay a nice chunk up front, and pay lower monthly rates. Reviewers like you are rare, because you seem to put actual effort in quality production, as well as in depth explanations. Bit of a rant, but basically just saying: Keep it up, appreciate it, yer doing a good job
I started out in a new 2012 Challenger R/T, then traded it for a 2013 SRT-8 and traded that for a Challenger Hellcat which I drive now. After owning all 3 I’ve had the most fun in the SRT-8 because you can use all the power ! The Hellcat is a different animal, you cant use all the power, it has way to much torque in town. Hell it spins the tired doing 70mph ! I’m afraid of the gas pedal, it’s not like that in the R/T & SRT-8 👍🏽
Alan Zolotoff hell yea man i have an rt an a hellcat an the hellcat is dam near insanity shit breaks loose at 70 lol i love it but it get scary sometimes
Just purchased a 2019 rt for 21,500 with 26,000 miles on it. Used to be a dealer rental. This video helped me out a lot when it came to purchasing it. I was unsure at first. Thanks for the upload.

Completely agree i have a 2015 Charger R/T already pay off I'm tempted to tradeoff but like you said everyone situation is different I'm happy so far I got some modifications flowmaster super 44, 265 continental extreme contact dws tires hellcat rims, K&N and a few stuff. Love it.
I could not agree more, the R/T is a great package. I too was a drag racer, drove some fast cars ON THE TRACK, but on the street, being careful and smart, the R/T gives you a pretty aggressive fun experience. I leased a 2019 Challenger R/T Plus about a year ago and for a retired 74 year old guy, this car is everything I could want. It handles, stops, accelerates and sounds beyond my expectations in every daily driving condition, exceptional I would say actually. The car under normal driving is rock solid, comfortable, with every amenity one could want on a high tech near luxury car. The Challenger is proven, reliable, and clearly evolved over the years into a perfect muscle car daily driver.
I drive a 2013 Chrysler 300 c awd with the 5.7 and man it’s so fun from burnouts to sliding around corners I been telling people the 5.7 is more than enough it’s fun
If you want to always take the initiative in any situation on the road, the RT is good for you. Youll never be scared about if youll make that merge or not.
Like one of the poster below, I have the RT with 5.7 and the 5 speed also. I too average the mid 20s MPG and high 20s on road trips. I have driven several 5.7 RT's with the 8 speed. The 8 speed is a bit quicker and is better around in the 35-40 mile per hour driving speed. The 5 speed really does not know what gear to be in at 35-40 mph vs the 8 speed has no problem. Having said that, the 8 speed removes some of the true character of the car that the 5 speed has. The 8 speed feels like you are driving a Volvo muscle car when you hammer it. The 8 speed does everything right, smooth and perfect. However, the 5 speed when hammered holds each gear longer. You really feel the complete torque curve of the engine. The 5 speed sometimes can not make up it's mind what gear it wants to be so the motor has to make up for it's in-decisions. Just like non professional driver would if the car had a manual 5 speed. The 5 speed gives you more of the old school muscle car personality like the manual 4 speeds back in the day. Just my 2 cents.
I swear on my soul I'm buying a challenger in 20 days. I can afford it but I can't bring myself to pay 680 a month for a scat pack. Going RT and fuk the warranty
Look around for a scat pack a year or two old, still under warranty. Probably less than a new rt with people not being able to keep them because of the economy.
Thank you for making this video! Practicality is the main reason why I want a Charger R/T. I want a fun car that I can Daily Drive while not being excessive on insurance and Fuel costs 😁
I got the Charger RT 2014 Anniversary Edition. Came fully loaded, because it is the anniversary celebration. Just turned 30k miles this month; looks brand new and every time i take it for oil change at dealer; they try to buy it back! There were only about 2000 made that year.
I just bought a brand new 2020 R/T Challenger Octane Red with Blacktop pkg a couple of months ago. $32k. It's been great! Having a lot of fun with it and I gott a great price for it in my opinion.
great vid thx!! I have 2009 charger 5.7 with a 93 octane tune and MDS off. Gas mileage sucks but price point is well worth the fun factor after Mods. Love it !!
Exactly! Looks good, fun, practical, sporty, fast, dodge is aggressive with discounts, zero problems on mine to date, and great mpg on the highway for those family vacations. Cheers.
Thank you for your insightful video on the R/T!! This puts me at ease that the R/T makes a great daily driver! I am doing my research on this car now and it will be the next car that I will own! I hope to make this a reality within the next year! I’ve been eyeing to get at a black R/T or black R/T Daytona (it’s got that sunroof and Harmon Kardon speakers) and I’m already planning my mods for it! What I love the most about this car is that it is a V8 sedan and its absolute beauty! I love seeing them on the road and I just know they are so much fun to drive!! I can’t wait to have my own!!!
The 5.7 Liter Hemi has 407 lb-ft of torque. What you feel in the car is the torque; not the horsepower. Horsepower is for top-end speed and for a daily driver that is almost never an issue. Also, the 5.7 liter is a little lighter than the 6.4 L and a lot lighter than the Hellcat. Since the rest of the car is pretty much the same otherwise this weight reduction moves the center of gravity down and rearward; both of which help handling and overall performance. Properly optioned, a 5.7 Liter is a sweet package especially when compared with the plain vanilla competition.... most of which have more in common with toasters than performance cars.
Completely agree. Had an r/t plus and loved it. A handful in rain an especially snow. Drove the scat and it’s too heavy to be a race car and too impractical for a daily. Also nobody options a scat well so you need the srt 392. The r/t is the best of both worlds for a daily. (Allegedly) raced many scats and to 127 they only put a car and a half at best from a roll, less from a stop. Great car. My 87 grand national is a bit more fun, but you crash you die. The r/t is a tank. Walk away from a 127 wall crash (allegedly).
Just bought one Saturday for the wife, think it's going to be the best choice by far from the vehicles I was looking at. Nickel with black racing stripes RT.....one damn nice looking car
I drove a '16 Charger R/T for a year before tragically losing it in an accident on the highway, but shortly afterwards managed to save my pennies and get an '18 R/T which I've been driving ever since. I've not had the opportunity to drive any of the higher packages, but I effin LOVE the R/T! Granted the fact that the mere existence of the Hellcat has me constantly scratching my chin, its performance would largely go unused by me as there's no track near me and I don't race. The R/T is technically more car than I need but exactly what I want. Hell, I never really even put the thing in sport mode and still smoke 95% of the cars I meet.
I’m 19 and looking for something that’s fun and practical. I have a 2009 Honda CR-V as my daily...love the gas mileage but Jesus, the four cylinder gets old after awhile. In a few years I’m willing to get a 2019 R/T. Thanks for the video! By the time I’ve saved a little bit of dough, this will be my new daily!
I own a 17 5.7 Daytona and love it, I daily it and run autocross and PDE events. It's not the best at autocross or road coarse events but it is a lot of fun and affordable.
I agree 100%. I bought my '18 RT new and although I could have gotten a scat the RT put me in a more comfortable payment range and I got the plus package and super track pack at a price I could justify. It's a well rounded car with good power and great comfort. I averaged 28mpg from St.louis to Florida last year, whats not to love. Just wish it came with the 3.09 anti slip diff standard. Right now the plan is to pay it off, keep it and buy a used challenger scat or maybe a even a hellcat down the road.
Great looking Daytona 💪🏼 The 5.7 does allow people on a tighter budget more appearance and performance mods. I have heard some straight up nasty sounding 5.7’s. The exhaust is one of the first and best bang for your buck. Get video 👊🏼
Took about seven years but my co workers finally cracked me on the HEMI. I liked the modern design of the 2015+ Charger. Had one six years ago as a rental. Base rental fleet SXT V6 and nothing to argue about high 20’s/low 30’s for highway MPG. Even as a base rental, hood design, smooth ride, modern technology and safety. Had a lead on two different 2022 SXT AWD Blacktop with NAV/Travel. Was a good dealer trade possibility but…both SOLD….moved to different zip code range and found a sleeper April Build Daytona Indigo/black. Will be picking up next Tuesday and the position ferry back to North TX will be the “test drive”
Why do you or anyone else not mention the fuel savings that goes from an 8 cylinder to a six cylinder when it reaches a certain speed.? I have an RT Plus 2020 and i go from 14mpg to 26mpg on highway with cruise control at 70mph. I love my Charger.
There are lots of fun cars to drive, and I drive my 2019 Stinger GTS which is also fun to drive. Not much weight but plenty of horse power to get you around town in a hurry. I think it beats an RT's maneuverability in traffic where acceleration, lane change and stopping is most important. At 73 I enjoy the game of catch me if you can.
Great video man! Could have walked away with a 2018 charger scat pack with 2800 miles... I chose a brand new 18 R/T.. do I regret it? actual I’m neutral on it. Why I say that it because yes in my opinion (coming from a 3+ year R/T owner) the scat pack is THEEE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK, I mean come on you get the look, the power, the brakes, the suspension, etc.. and the R/T just simply does not have all that. Both cars have there pros and cons. I LOVE my R/T. And I’ll never bag on anyone with one when I get my hellcat. Because they are not by any means a slow car. There fast cars, and they are really fun to own. And they can take 8lbs Of boost easily so. It all depends on the driver. Me for example I’m happy with what I have. The 5.7 HEMI is the face of the mopar franchise and anyone with a mopar should not forget that. IMO
As always great coverage. Here's my story....starting off with a 14' se v6. Lol yes a v6 lol. Traded for a 17' R/T In destroyer grey, not fully loaded but enough to enjoy. April 2019 I bought a used 16' b5blue Scatpack. Why did I? Well first off, it had everything except the dynamics package. I looked it over real well and with only 14k miles on it and obviously well taken care of, I was sold. So yeah I enjoy my chargers and if had the money I'd buy your Hellcat! 😃
Just wanted to add that the price of my 16 Scatpack in 2019 was heck of alot cheaper than brand new (49k). As a matter of fact my r/t was more money new at 37k than a used 2016 scatpack(33k). So for me I got a bigger engine, more options, more swag, more enjoyable. It was worth it. My 2017 RT charger only had 10000 miles on it when I traded it. So a gain 4000 miles more miles on a car that's actually a year older to me that really wasn't that big a difference, that's why I bought it. I've probably put in maybe 5 grand or little more into it such as tires and rims, splitters, a rear diffuser and other dress up mods oh and a mid muffler delete. I really don't plan on doing a whole lot more to it but I have a hell of a lot of fun with it and that's what counts!
I'm getting 20-2mpg consistently driving in the city. Mine is a 2015 AWD police package with steel wheels in indigo blue colour. It's perfect for Winter in Toronto when everyone forgets how to drive in snow.
Much love for the R/T owners my guy. Daily drive my 2018 Chally, and it’s the most fun day to day I’ve ever had. Wayyy better to enjoy than my 2012 5.0 I used to own. But that’s my opinion. Yeah I could’ve opted out and got a Scat Pack, but for the price I got my R/T for...22,450 for a 2018??? No, nothing was wrong with it just 40,000 miles on it (and hair everywhere smh). Drives like a gem!
Thank you for posting the Charger RT, edition i like the Scat package & the power, i am some what torn between the both I guess ill have to test drive the RT you have some good points
I drive a 17 Charger RT and i love it. When buying new, the pricing gap between a RT and a Scat is somewhat small (as long as both cars are comparably equipped). Insurance costs seem to be quite different between them, but mpg should be close. When buying used, theres a pretty big gap in price. Scats hold their value well while RTs dont. I bought my RT for around $23k with 33k miles. Used Scats were going for $35k! For a daily, the RT is perfect.
Wanted a good hwy car. Daytona with 5.7 was it. Good performance, great handling, very comfortable, great mpg, quiet just eats up hwy miles.👍👍👍 loved this car😎👍👍. Nooo I think 5.7 takes mid grade. I used Costco premium and got great mpg!!👍
I bought the Challenger R/T in 2011. I saved for that car for several years. The track isn’t my thing, so it has all the power I need, and it’s fun as hell to drive.
Appreciate the RT love. The 5.7 gave birth to the 6.1 6.2 and 6.4 motors. I think people forget that because of the new powerful motors in the scat and hellcat the 5.7 has been a staple and workhorse motor dodge has ever made. It been around since 2003. I just think Dodge needs to rate the horsepower to 400hp vs 370hp. People would gravitate to the RT
I'm 17 and I bought a Red 2014 Charger RT AWD. Best decision ever. I put a cat back exhaust on it and it rumbles like a scat pack. During the winter I put on snow tires and this car will NOT get stuck. I drove it in a blizzard with 7 inches of snow and it didn't get stuck at all. In fact, I tried to get it stuck but it would refuse to. Having a v8 awd muscle car is the coolest thing ever
It is the best daily driver. I own a 2015 Charger R/T about to hit 110000 miles. I live in San Diego, CA and commute to work everyday and I just broke my own record for mpg which is 29.7 mpg on the freeway. I never had any engine issues but my only problems I have are my headlights don't work. My sunroof doesn't slide back. And just recent my AC and heater crapped out. If you really take good care of your Charger with keeping your maintenance up and driving it to the ground doing burnouts, donuts, hard pulls like a lot of these UA-camrs are doing you will add more life to your car. I'm planning on getting another RT hopefully just because of the Scatpack and Hellcat body style.
Back in the day this is what we would call a 'Bankers Hot Rod' I think the term started with say the 57 Olds Which was a very heavy very comfortable car ( I had one and they look bad ass and have 400 ft lbs of torque) Later it was cars like the Galaxy and the GS Buick and Pontiac Bonneville. I was a lot younger then and didn't get it. Like you I was a big street/drag racer with cars like Olds powered 57 chevy and my 55 healey with the 301 small block in it... It is mostly age but also I grew fond of big cop cars with 4 doors with my 81 Chevy and then my last one the Crown Vic... Neither of these cars are real HP cars but feel solid and comfy and ... well... fast in their own way. Now my son and I have Charger RT's gotten pretty cheaply at auction or salvage one is a blackout and the other a cop car. Think I will claim the cop car ... Fast? Well.... faster than the two other cop cars previous but... I own a 74 Chevy short bed C10 that is lowered with steelies and the last 4 paint jobs all taking their spots again on the exterior. It is a 5.2 LS conversion it also has the Dakota gauges which include stuff like 0-60 top speed speed in the quarter etc etc. I love this truck. LS is probly the best and easiest swap there is and it aint that easy.... So... The truck weighs at least 1,000 lbs less than the RT's To get the initial tune the (laptop) we took it to a guy who does half a dozen a day. He can tell you from that the HP and he is never wrong by more than a few percent. He rated this motor at 350-to 375 Hp (it just had get t to the shop mufflers on at the time) Quarter mile... without any drama or skill it runs 13.6 This is an easy motor to mod. A cam adds 40 hp.. but ya know what? probly never will. It just runs and drive so damn good. Sooo... Nope I am not a banker.. but I am old and you know.... seen stuff. I really really like the RT.
Decided to show the RT guys and gals some love with this one. Hope you stay safe out there..
No love for the Chrysler 300 Hemi?
RacerX you too brother stay safe out there

I’ve got a 06 RT 90k miles, Flowmaster exhaust...running strong!....Thanks for the video...the RT is definitely affordable and fun to drive💯
This sold me on the RT thanks for the great review!
Totally want one for my next daily driver. I agree it's the perfect combo of fun and still practical. The scatpack is awesome but if I feel that's better suited as a weekend toy/track car.
I just bought mine on Memorial Day. 2023 Last Call R/T Daytona. I love it. Thank you for the video Racer X!
Max S .. glad your enjoying the RT .. it’s a great all around package
Hell of a deal bro
nice deal!
Where does one go to get a deal like that. Can’t even find that now 4 years later!
Love my R/T, best daily I’ve ever had.
These make great all purpose cars 👍
HemiStrong305 yes that’s my daily driver now!
How much did u negotiate for?
Awesome video. Thanks for shedding some light on the R/T. It's a real diamond in the rough in the car culture. You nailed the R/T's purpose dead on. Good stuff man 👍
Double Yellow .. thank you my friend 🤜🔥🔥
Double Yellow he def nailed i i love my rt an my hellcat the rt is my daily an that my baby for real they have a great amount of power
Love my 14 R/T
Heck yea 👍
facts!
I love my '14 100th ann R/T!
Any issue with u 14 Rt ?
I’m looking for a 2014 rn, what’s a good amount of miles and price point?
The title alone is straight facts. Literally love mine to death it’s so nice
Coloxxus 🤜🔥🔥
IM GETTING MY RT SOON AND I CANT WAIT
Hi uzi
How much did you negotiate for?
@@kjo3835 I got it for 40K it was smack brand new. Im the only owner
@@agent47idk15 happy for you man, how you liking the car so far?? I thinking about getting one soon too
@@outcast9784 i love it.
So u went from a hellcat to rt?
Jets Set . Yes sir...
@@cracker135 um why? I really wana know cuz I'm trying to get a scat
0-60 in 4.7 seconds is plenty can never get tired of the sound either
I started out in a new 2012 Challenger R/T, then traded it for a 2013 SRT-8 and traded that for a Challenger Hellcat which I drive now. After owning all 3 I’ve had the most fun in the SRT-8 because you can use all the power ! The Hellcat is a different animal, you cant use all the power, it has way to much torque in town. Hell it spins the tired doing 70mph ! I’m afraid of the gas pedal, it’s not like that in the R/T & SRT-8 👍🏽
Alan Zolotoff .. the hellcat is definitely an adjustment. I will admit that that I love the low end punch on the 392 though
Thats an incredible price for an r/t wow congrats bro, im looking to get one at the price if im lucky
@@nydeviantgaming6872 search certified dealers online within 30 miles. Call and price match or try to get a better offer. Dealers can easily drop the price 10,000 less if they want the sale. If not you got plenty more options.
Completely agree i have a 2015 Charger R/T already pay off I'm tempted to tradeoff but like you said everyone situation is different I'm happy so far I got some modifications flowmaster super 44,
265 continental extreme contact dws tires hellcat rims, K&N and a few stuff.
Bought my 2018 RT this past December I'm very happy with it! Love the power!
Absolutely.. it’s a great package
I had a Camaro before my 2nd child was born. Now I have 3 kids. My Charger R/T is perfect for my budget and they are fun to drive.
Just got my 2019 yesterday for my first car and I already love it already, it sounds amazing!
I swear on my soul I'm buying a challenger in 20 days. I can afford it but I can't bring myself to pay 680 a month for a scat pack. Going RT and fuk the warranty
Try an SXT PLUS super fun challenger with all the bells and whistles, my son just got one I drove it yesterday super fun and I own a hellcat
The RT is a great all around package .. think you will like it 👍
Look around for a scat pack a year or two old, still under warranty. Probably less than a new rt with people not being able to keep them because of the economy.
I plan on getting one in a couple months , can’t wait 😎.
I’ll come back to this comment when I get mine 💪🏼
& a month later I finally got mine 💯
I own a 2014 R/T Blacktop package. love it, proud to own one, always wanted a Charger
Dude you are really keeping this channel alive while this corona bs is going on. Keep em coming, man! You have my support!
Thank you Jeremy.. much appreciated 👍
Thank you for making this video!
Practicality is the main reason why I want a Charger R/T. I want a fun car that I can Daily Drive while not being excessive on insurance and Fuel costs 😁
I think it’s a solid choice 👍
Thanks for showing some love to the RT My 18’ rt is a beast not the biggest and baddest but it’s definitely a fun car to have around
2021 Charger RT Daytona coming from the factory in July for me up here in Canada. Finally getting my Hemi ive wanted for years😍
Thanks for making this video, I definitely plan on getting a 5.7 for a daily one day
Absolutely.. hopefully you get it 🤜🔥🔥
I got the Charger RT 2014 Anniversary Edition.
One of the best videos describing the r/t, best detailed oriented video 👍🏼
Love my Rt! Thanks for the vid!
great vid thx!! I have 2009 charger 5.7 with a 93 octane tune and MDS off. Gas mileage sucks but price point is well worth the fun factor after Mods. Love it !!
Keep it up my man. This is my favorite car channel.
Thank you Jenel.. much appreciated 👍
Exactly! Looks good, fun, practical, sporty, fast, dodge is aggressive with discounts, zero problems on mine to date, and great mpg on the highway for those family vacations. Cheers.
I just bought a charger R/T last week 2019 Plum crazy and I don’t think I need more power for daily use and I enjoy it 💜
تنصح فيها ولا انفنتي افضل انا مستخدم ٦
2019 Daytona 392 daily love it, had rt before loved it to, my smiles per mile are larger with 392 well worth to me
Both are fantastic 👍
@@RacerX9 i actually start with a 3.6 loved it as well
Thank you for your insightful video on the R/T!!
I got a 2008 rt as my second car and I LOVE it. A little outdated obviously but coming from a Sebring, it feels pretty good.
SaucinEmUp nothing wrong with that my friend 👍
The 5.7 Liter Hemi has 407 lb-ft of torque. What you feel in the car is the torque; not the horsepower. Horsepower is for top-end speed and for a daily driver that is almost never an issue. Also, the 5.7 liter is a little lighter than the 6.4 L and a lot lighter than the Hellcat. Since the rest of the car is pretty much the same otherwise this weight reduction moves the center of gravity down and rearward; both of which help handling and overall performance. Properly optioned, a 5.7 Liter is a sweet package especially when compared with the plain vanilla competition.... most of which have more in common with toasters than performance cars.
cnchess .. I’m finding that the RT can be a lot of fun as well 👍
cnchess your so right i own a hellcat an a rt the rt is much lighter an very controlable an has great torque
Got a 2016 RT 8 months ago. I drive it daily and man do I love it.
This video came right in time!
🤜🔥🔥
I’m 19 and looking for something that’s fun and practical. I have a 2009 Honda CR-V as my daily...love the gas mileage but Jesus, the four cylinder gets old after awhile. In a few years I’m willing to get a 2019 R/T. Thanks for the video! By the time I’ve saved a little bit of dough, this will be my new daily!
I have a hellcat an i also have a rt as my daily i love that thing it’s def nice power for every day use
I own a 17 5.7 Daytona and love it, I daily it and run autocross and PDE events. It's not the best at autocross or road coarse events but it is a lot of fun and affordable.
Just enjoy that thing .. that’s what it’s all about
5.7 Beast! Love that Hemi
F8Green18 .. sounds like a great plan my friend
Love the rt for daily street driving , a little exhaust mod and boom sounds mean 👌🏻
It most certainly does
Cuanto cuenta hacerle un exhaust?
Second video I came across and decided to subscribe. Awesome attitude and content.
Love driving my 2017 charger rt, I have two young boys that fit in comfortably and so much fun driving it to work daily
Great looking Daytona 💪🏼 The 5.7 does allow people on a tighter budget more appearance and performance mods. I have heard some straight up nasty sounding 5.7’s. The exhaust is one of the first and best bang for your buck. Get video 👊🏼
Still loving my 21 Rt , just got the hellcat rims in chrome on it on 275 tires
I loved the honest review of the Charger 5.7. 👊😎
New subscriber after watching this review. Keep up the good work. 👍
IMO
Very true.. that RT is a staple car for Dodge ..
I recently got a magnum r/t. It's got the 5.7, love the car and has plenty of power to get you into trouble.
I'm getting 20-2mpg consistently driving in the city. Mine is a 2015 AWD police package with steel wheels in indigo blue colour. It's perfect for Winter in Toronto when everyone forgets how to drive in snow.
20 charger r/t is my daily now, so far so good~
I love my RT, it may not be the fastest car out there but I can definitely keep up with the pack.
Trevon Hall .. sounds like a solid deal.. keep rocking it 🤜🔥🔥
Thank you for posting the Charger RT, edition i like the Scat package & the power, i am some what torn between the both I guess ill have to test drive the RT you have some good points
I appreciate the R/T content, mines only a 2012 though
I drive a 17 Charger RT and i love it. When buying new, the pricing gap between a RT and a Scat is somewhat small (as long as both cars are comparably equipped). Insurance costs seem to be quite different between them, but mpg should be close. When buying used, theres a pretty big gap in price. Scats hold their value well while RTs dont. I bought my RT for around $23k with 33k miles. Used Scats were going for $35k! For a daily, the RT is perfect.
I’ve found a 2019 rt with 36k miles on it - 29000 do you think it’s a steal or it’s been beaten on at this point ?
Stay safe mr and mrs x... hope all is well. Love the R/T very much
Thank you Robbie .. you too 👍
Wanted a good hwy car. Daytona with 5.7 was it. Good performance, great handling, very comfortable, great mpg, quiet just eats up hwy miles.👍👍👍 loved this car😎👍👍. Nooo I think 5.7 takes mid grade. I used Costco premium and got great mpg!!👍
Great video been looking into getting one and thinking r/t probably the way to go.....practicality
Definitely just earned my sub and I hardly sub to channels. This was an awesome review!! Clear, to the point, informative and fun! Thank you!!
Awesome.. welcome to the channel my friend 👍
Crazy how much has changed in 2 years. 50k for one of these bad boys with decent options.
People would gravitate to the RT
rich2bad put some racing stripes on it, itll get that 400
I'm 17 and I bought a Red 2014 Charger RT AWD.
Danny Spangberg .. I’m sure that AWD is serving you well 👍
It is the best daily driver.
Man I love my 2014 Charger R/T plus in Header Orange and she's nearing 80k and still running strong.
Great video as always
Nice looking car. Thanks RacerX. Stay safe all.
Thank you Mike. You too
