Thank you Alain! That really means a lot!

I have one of these and I will tell you it keeps up with the SCAT Pack and also mine is this F8 Green. Beautiful color and a lot more rare.

I’ve Never Been A “Too Noisy” Kind Of Driver. The Charger RT Is The Most Convenient & Affordable; Best Car Review Channel HANDS DOWN🙏🏾
This would be my go to Charger, a healthy amount of power, still a v8, straight pipe it and you still get that great sound. It more affordable, would be nice if it had awd like the police cruiser which also have the 5.7
Mid muffler delete sounds great as well 👍🏽 I got mine done ✅ last week. Just a suggestion
2014 charger r/t aero had the 5.7 with awd as an option. Doesn’t make sense they’d axe such a nice feature for those of us that have snow in our lives.
I’d rather get a 2013 mustang gt s197 model best sounding v8 ever

How does this man not have 1m+ reviewers he hits every review right on the spot and has a really good sense of humor while also seriously reviewing the car
I recently bought the charger RT and I love it. It's not the fastest car but the power it has for the price is great. After a long stressful day at work, flooring it is a good stress relief makes me feel alive. Happy camper

@@ibrahimm218 No kidding. He reviews cars normal people drive or may be interested in buying. He is straight to the point, highlights important features, incorporates some humor and performs a test drive. 11/10.
The radar cruise control is the most important. It's amazing and makes long distance driving so easy
ted101975 AGREED!
People sleep on 5.7s. Don't let the horsepower on paper fool you. It's widely believed in the Mopar community that Dodge purposely underrated the engine. RT Life touched on this in one of his videos stating it's really pushing 400 hp and I believe it. My 18 Challenger RT Plus is no slouch. I know Raiti said the RTs do 5.7 0-60s, but I've gotten 5 seconds flat bone stock. I've seen others get even better times, as low as 4.7. They say the Scatpack is the best value and to each his own. But I believe the 5.7 engine holds that title 💯
5 flat 0-60 in an 18 TA Plus, w/ just CAI. First week with the car, too scared to put her down all the way yet.
To be honest the challenger R/T is tuned much more aggressively than the charger in the 2018 year. I've driven plenty of them. They picked it back up for the charger in 2019 & up. But the 18 model rt charger for some reason just felt so sluggish to me every time I've driven one.
Yeah maybe true. But the scat is also underrated as well. They're doing about 425-430 at the wheels. They claim 485. But they are more like 500-505 at the crank. And the charger tops at like 182 miles per hour. Itll do about 23-25 miles per hour over a 5.7s top speed. A 6.4 is more fast than a 5.7 than what a 5.7 is over a 3.6
The horsepowers are 485, 370, and 292! The scat pack is definitely the best value. Stock Ls1 and Ls2 platforms are still faster than the standard 2015-2019 5.7 R/T
@Jr Jr yeah true
2016 Charger R/T owner here, I will never regret the purchase, it’s enough power and doesn’t break my pockets even though my apr isn’t the best. Oh and the sound is just sexy
“that will work out perfectly because youre used to having small things in your hands” lmfao bruh
You know he wanted to say something else lmao
I know I wasn’t the only one that caught that 😂😂😂
I love that you don’t sell us the car, you just review and tell us about it… better than all the other people that review cars you’re the best
Great review! I used to own one of these RTs and regret, everyday, the day I sold it. Loved the V8 and it was a "practical" muscle car (like you say). And I had zero issues in 4 years of ownership.

How do you like it
@@yaroldgonzalez1848 it’s amazing man. i wish i could’ve gotten the scat pack because i absolutely love the seats that come with it but the r/t is super nice. loud cold starts, shits pretty decent for the weight of the car. i’m 17, second car i’ve been driving for a year first car was nearly half the horsepower of this hot mama, and dad said scat was way too fast for me atm but later down the road i’ll probably upgrade. I have a full black one and the blacktop package. wish it had more like front parking sensors and also blind spot but i have nav/uconnect/sunroof so it’s not too bad. ALSO r/t and all lower trims come with halogen headlights!! so i sadly need to swap em out for xenons because that won’t work for me hahaha. not a big deal. everything else is dope.
@@dgvertical your father is right, the scat pack is a little skittish for a second car
The R/T is absolutely perfect for me, enough space to go on a trip compared to my fiancé's challenger but I can also keep up with him as well
RT is great. Plenty of power it’s a fun drive. I turn heads and get compliments on it daily. The highest I would go is a scat Pack in the near future but for now I’m enjoying my brand new 2019 RT

They are a ton of fun!
Hey man, thanks a lot for these videos. I currently drive a 2011 wrangler and although I love sitting higher up on the road, I do miss having speed. A lot. Anyways, I have always wanted a charger since before I was in highschool, and I have been torn between a Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, or going with my dream and getting a charger. Your videos are very helpful and entertaining. I did end up test driving a Compass after watching one of your videos and fell in love with it, but it just didn't have any sort of pick up or speed. Even worse than my wrangler. I am now finally going through and getting a 2018 charger R/T tomorrow and I seriously cannot be more excited. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing that experience! Congrats on getting the car you want.
2019 and up only
Just a slight correction I believe with the 8 speed the 0-60 is closer to 5 seconds. Google says it is 0-60 in 5.2 seconds but I have seen people pull off runs of 5 seconds or quicker. That 8 speed rips off shifts SUPER quick!
all down to traction. WIth the eagle RSA2 tires stock i cant get 5.2 seconds to 60. All i ever do in this car is spin the tires (still fun). Hopefully when i throw on some summer performance tires ill start seeing the 5.2 seconds or less to 60.
I have a 2021 RT. My fastest time is a 5.0. Only had it a couple months
I got a 2019 chally I never did a 0-60 but I see that who ever had it before me did a 4.9. I was inpressed cuz my 2017 5.0 does 4.6 in track mode and 4.9 in sport mode
You can find Charger and Challenger R/T's all day long in Hertz and Avis lots.

@@RaitisRides hey man I may not have said it but I do like the m340i a lot, its just it looks a bit like a kia to me Xd which isnt a bad thing in my opinion
When you get only one Zonk 9:20 minutes in, you know this is close to perfection.
Having one for 3 years I'd say for the casual driver who wants to do a few pulls every now and then, the RT is great. If you have the speed demon in you, minimum scat pack.
How reliable is this car? Did you have any issues Jon>?
Art Jenssen Drove a 2011 (previous gen) for eight years with no issues whatsoever.
@@artjenssen7470 the 2010s-14s can have electrical issues with the smart window glass, which can leave your car dead within a day, and it's NOT covered by warranty. It happened to me. Also you may need to replace the water pump around 90k miles (if you keep it that long) which is about a 4hr job. Other than that, maintain it properly and you'll have no issues.

That is an exact clone of my car in MY, options, and color. Went into the dealer and had to order it from the factory. Only option I didnt check was the engine block heater. Ordered 04/18 and received it a month later. I still have it 5 years later and it still brings me smiles. I'll likely drive it another 5 then park it and store it since the muscle car is about to be laid to rest
UPDATE: I traded my girl in for a 2023 300C in February 2024 with 400 miles. I had wanted a 300C SRT8 before and was happy to take a Charger. I had searched for the 300Cs for almost a year with no luck then one day, poof - The one I bought appeared. I will certainly miss my Charger (It was sold within 2 weeks at the dealer when they had 4 or 5 others including R/Ts and Scat Packs there before it and still there) but my 300C will bring me many more smiles for the future and this is my final muscle car, unless by some strange miraculous coincidence I reacquire my Charger in the future

In the intro, you said the Charger was made into a four-door in order to not compete with the two-door Challenger. There is another reason: The Police sedan market. In 2006, when the four-door Charger came out, Ford had the Police market cornered with the Crown Vic for more than a decade. But Ford never upgraded the engine, sticking with the 250-horsepower 4.6L V8. When the Dodge Charger Police came out in 2006 with the (then) 350-horsepower 5.7L Hemi V8, it was a game changer. After Ford discontinued the Crown Vic in 2011, the Dodge Charger became the only V8 police sedan option, until Chevy came out with the new Caprice (Australian Holden) with the V8. So, getting back into the police sedan market was part of Dodge's market strategy.
Thanks for that info.

I love this car and the color and the sound. I cant decide between TORRED or F8 GREEN.
"Great thickness... my only zonk is that they're small. I know for some people that might work out to be perfect because you normally have small things that you have in your hands but-" OMG! This was my first laugh of the day! Thanks.
I had a 2012 Charger (I miss it) But like he said "...the wonderful thing is that you're not going to crush your nuts. No guy wants to have their nuts crushed." A friend of mine has this body design in white- Great vehicle for out on the road for hours at a time. Comfortable seats for regular size to plus sized folks.

Pretty sure that's the 2018 Super Track Pack which was an RT with the Scat Pack rear differential. AWESOME alternative to the Scat... I'm guessing that's why they discontinued the package LOL. BTW that thing is much quicker than 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. That's low 5's and even high 4's stock! Traction is the issue. Great great great review as usual!
I am saying this again, but Dodge makes some of the best sounds from the stock exhaust.

Love your vids! You make me laugh while keeping it concise and informational. Have a 2018 Charger R/T Super Track Pak just like the one in the vid in Destroyer Grey. I love it. So satisfying. No, it doesn't have the all out power and speed of a Scat Pack (which I've test driven a number of times), but it is manageable and "mashable" - you can really lay it down when you want and rev it out and still feel in control. And without the added expenses of the Scat - especially for gas right now! Still considering upgrade as I love those Scat Packs and high-winding 6.4, but I really love my budget bruiser R/T. Thanks, again.
It's got struts for the hood, that reason enough to trade in a GT 350 for a Hemi Police cruiser.
