all games are dull and repetitive. Take the most glorified game ever the witcher 3. Go from point A to point B run into complication spend hours fixing problem. Problem finally fixed. Go to point B. Wash rinse and repeat. Watchdogs legion is only boring to the people that play one dimensional. Guns blazing. Ubisoft has given us as players tools to mess around with in the world and all people do is shoot people. Funny story that actually happened. I sent some goons to hospital and hours later in my game they came back angry and attacked me. This feeling of messing with this interconnected world not knowing what may happen makes legion a joy and delight

I just finished the game, here’s my tips to make the game more enjoyable and fun. Now this might seem weird at first, but they worked for me, note that they’re just tips, not rules.
1. Ignore most if not all side missions until you’ve completed every main mission. Side missions and recruitment missions sometimes breaks the game flow.
2. Have as few members in your team as possible, so that you could remember all their names. They kind of become personal over time and you starts to appreciate every one of them.
3. Get yourself a professional Hitman and a Spy, make sure they don’t have any weird accent. I played through almost the entire game with only those 2 operatives, they’re the coolest ones.
4. Have high recruitment standards, don’t just recruit anyone off the street, make sure you have a small elite team rather than a large one. The game doesn’t need you to recruit all types, so....Be picky!! :)
The things I’ve mentioned above applies until the campaign has finished, after that you wouldn’t need to worry about inconsistent protagonists. That when the recruitment actually starts and that’s where you’re safe to goof around and build a team of underwear grannies :D

I love the idea of “play as anyone” it’s cool and you do have to change up your play style because you don’t have the typical “jack of all trades” main character so if you want certain things you do have to change. But I personally feel like this puts a bit of a draw back on a story like this because you don’t get attached as much. I personally feel like the jack of all trades would’ve been fine. And my idea for the implementation of this would be let us make our own character (and just have a couple voice actors just for some variety if you want selection) and that’s our main character then give us the basic hacking and what not but then for more specific tools and abilities you have to go and find and recruit people who can do those things. That way you keep the recruitment system but you can do more with one character and it makes it a bit more personal. I personally just like one character and as much as playing as multiple is cool I feel like something similar to the idea above would be cool to atleast see in a watch dogs type of game. (To go along with the specific character being recruited for your main character to unlock their abilities maybe you could bring recruits with you on missions and possibly some free roam. Just an extra idea so there not just being recruited and then never used)
MGSV
Personally I am very fond of this game. I love the story, the gameplay, and the recruitment system. I know alot of you don't feel the same way, and that is actually understandable. The only complaint I have though, is the missions are repetitive. It's the same thing every time, just occasionally mixed up. However I still tend to enjoy these missions.

The game's most fun when you just run around London playing as different characters with unique abilities that can interact with the open world in different ways.

@@vizeexoticz2973 if you just wanna mess around, yeah! I'm English too so seeing London in a big game like this was special. If you liked WD2 for free roam this plays the same but with some unique characters to play as who have funny gimmicks like playing as an old granny or internet celebrity.

It was the same with watch dogs 2, the thing is you aren't supposed to do the same thing every time. You're supposed to play how you want to with your chosen characters. If the game gets repetitive then it's kind of your fault for using the same characters the same way.
@@TheReck12 Not really. It's true that some characters have some unique traits, but virtually anything is possible with any character.

I feel a big issue is the voices sounding tinny sometimes almost like you can hear it was recorded in 2 different places.
Lame excuses
Doesn't stop some of the voices from just straight up sounding like someone put them through a bass booster.
what a great idea on paper. they still failed at it no matter what excuse you come up with for them
@@jig-ga shut up!

American moment. Okay, I'm American and I was doing this in the game before. But that's an American moment right there.
👁👄👁
Well the car opposite side in usa
Issues I've had with my game:
-Crashes every few hours
-Puzzle wont show up in the mission Lost in the Process
Dope idea: You create the main character in the beginning of game then can recruit whoever you want to help you with missions. You have your own main character as the protagonist and you can switch between your crew whenever but the story still revolves around your character.
"They did their best"
Yeah, that's what worries me. I'll buy this in a few months when it costs £10 and they've actually finished it.
Was thinking the same thing.
£10 in a few months? That’s ambitious. However I’m doing the same, I’m only buying it after Aiden and Wrench come out.
there’s minor bugs, but it is pretty much finished just no multiplayer. I can see why you assume it’s not done considering Ubisoft’s track record but it got delayed in March and they really did finish it
Amen. You've read my mind.
U got a point but it ain’t going to be $10 no time soon especially when next gen consoles drop..
"After a while it felt dull and repetetive" well that's what Ubisoft does best nowadays.
Big facts
Wtf he said this as soon as i read this
That's why I don't buy it :D it's shit
Look at me channel i upload gameplay of Watch dogs legion
Basement Dweller Far cry's gunplay is addicting tho
And 5 is not that bad.
You're my go to beore getting a new game. Thank you! 🤘🖤
just bought it. i’ve loved every watch dogs and this one doesn’t disappoint one bit. hopefully there’s some characters who can parkour really badass like WD2 .
3:01 yeah, I would've thought I was shooting the driver too lmao
It’s gonna take a while to get used to lol
This is the first time I didn't buy before watching this, the title for the first time is correct
It’s a fantastic game, you should definitely pick it up.
@@SMOLBOLLOCS it might be but there are just too many good games coming out in comparison this is waste of money

It's fun but if you care about story character building ect just skip i couldn't get attached or care about any of the characters the A I is the character i liked best tbh
I loved the permadeath setting the only problem is i kept dying too glitches and the movement from the cargo drone too a nearby roof is not very fluent i was sent flying 50 metres across the air just too try and clear a 2ft gap
The one thing that is a serious miss with this game is the voice acting..and how it was cross implemented threwout so many different NPC characters...I found myself cringing because an NPC just clearly didn't have the correct audio packet

No we have cyberpunk at home

It didn’t get really fun until I got the Hitman. Now I can’t stop playing

I do love this game, I just got it about a week ago but the one thing I don't like about it is that the people you recruit have really simular missions and the missions are mostly all in the same place and that place is getting a bit boring. But anyway I can't wait for the online mode coming in 2021!
I would add to the fact that each and every person does not have any real value unless they are a "hitman" or a "beekeeper". Im not sure which developer missed half the concept of individual progress and the ability for specific recruits to gain levels or abilities from just playing them. That goes right passed my head. Just seems like such a mindless, waste of an opportunity to make this game possibly way more indepth.
Bring back more watchdogs 2 mechanics along with the new ones for the next game (the dynamic parkour, stoping traffic lights, more/better emotes, etc.)
I love you guys and girls at Gameranx. You guys have honest, proper, thorough reviews unlike other review channels that are big. I’m not even interested in buying this game but I’m just watching because I love your guys content. Keep on keeping on
Thank you. We really appreciate the kind words, they go a long way.
Man, Jake had almost the same experience of me. I haven't had ANY glitches, but this game is weird to explain because it's dope that all the characters have different fighting styles and stuff but it gets so repetitive. Best WD so far though.
Idk as a story man myself I like having characters to latch on to and none of the actual NPCs (as in the ones who you actually can't play as) don't grab me like Marcus did in 2 so personally 2 is my favorite but I've had fun with Legion for sure
You like it better than WD2? I actually loved WD2 lol
@@imadubsfan1 WD2 was criminally underrated imo. I was replaying it a couple days before Legion's release and I still had some friends message me asking why I still play it. It's always the people who never played it too. My cousin was one of them who played 1 and hated it and I convinced him to play 2 and it's been 4 years and he still constantly brings up how good it was
@@imadubsfan1 I honestly didn't like 2. It felt like it could have been a DLC if anything. So before Legion, 1 was actually my favorite. I felt like 2 didn't change enough from 1 to justify itself.
Wish they didn't give me the decision for permadeath...haven't had a day off to play yet and still deciding which one to play lol. I think the permadeath will give me a more emotional take on the story.
Harder games are definitely funner, and you feel better when you beat a level
I love how you just instinctively drive on the right side
These are always my go to video before or after I buy. Glad you guys keep doing these with every game you can get your hands on. Watchdogs Legion is great! I’m having a blast!
I hope Watch_Dogs 4 will have 1 lead character and supporting characters that are fully customizable with the recruit system. Feel like they lost a limb with the story by just focusing on the recruitment aspect.
Imagine thinking there's gonna be a 4th game after this pile of dogshit
@@Zorooooooooooooooooooooooooooo strong feelings bro?
Im pretty sure watchdogs has run its course by this point
Watch Dogs 2 is the best! 👍
I haven't played Legion yet I feel Watch Dogs 1 had a compelling story with ok gameplay, and Watch Dogs 2 had a meh story with super fun gameplay. They just need to combine the two!
I’m excited to see Aiden and wrench come back as playable characters but I wish it was more like watchdogs 2 but London.
Honestly, I wouldn’t like that too much, just because when I finished watchdogs 2’s story, the game got really fucking boring. If they fixed that though, absolutely agree
Ubisoft has been the best at gun sounds for a while
This is the first WD game I've played and to be honest I love it. The gameplay's very similar in ways to AC Origins, which I also loved, but with the added tech aspect. Although most of the missions are in the 'go here, retrieve this' format, being able to use Spiderbot, other gadgets and hack drones to do your bidding just adds an interesting element and prevents it from becoming too samey. I switch out my operatives quite often to mix things up further. The only crashes I've had in 12 hours gameplay have been when I attempted to drive manually (thank you autodrive!), no performance issues so far and I'm not on a top-spec PC.
I wish you could still swat people, that was so funny.

I miss the big AoE hacks, like setting off every car alarm or causing a black out.
it's in London so wouldn't be possible either way

I think Ubisoft needs to go all in with their ideas. This game has a lot of cool features but I feel like I almost never get to use them. Instead more than half of the game becomes just another third person shooter. They should focus on encouraging players to use cool abilities instead of just shooting their way out of things.
Even as a third person shooter , it is missing features such as hip firing, blindfiring ,and switching shoulders.
Yeah I've been going through a lot of reviews trying to decide about getting the game, but I think the point of not encouraging anything was so that the player can pick any way they want approach a mission, I've heard in a couple other games especially where stealth is encouraged that it feels like the game pushes you towards a certain playstyle. So in the case of just shooting their eay out of things, that might just be the play style you've chosen, no offense intended.
they did: *stealth mode* but you have to decide to use it or not.
I think they need to not go all in on a single mechanic and actually invest time in making their games less repetitive and with a decent story
@@lawrencelatrelljacksonmckn2932 I guess you’ve never played watchdogs before. Hip firing? Blind firing? That’s already not a common 3rd person shooter mechanic but now you’re expecting a series to add it after never having any of these? Tell me multiple games with hip firing 3rd person shooters.
Playing this game almost reminds me of Breath of the Wild as there is less story than other games in the series, but exploring and interacting with this open world sandbox are pure bliss. You will have a lot of fun if you enjoy third person shooters like GTA and MGSV.
I’m sure breath of the wild is much more involved as an rpg
@@theArchive1O its not really an rpg but some pf the best exploration in the world
You must not have ever played a good open world game lmao, this games world has literally nothing in it
@@theArchive1O How? You don't have stats, you don't have dialogue choices, there's barely any quests, you power up only by doing challenges. So how exactly is more of an rpg?
Well that would certainly explain why it seemed so boring to me.

When I first heard recruiting anyone when they announced it I thought it ment recruit anyone to fight with you not to fight as I would have liked it more the other way but this is good
First off just walking in London during a pandemic is amazing. I think I spent about an hour just walking around the city. Second I love the idea of every single person in the game being a potential ally or even a potential playable character. It feels a lot like there is an uprising happening sort of like V for vendetta.

You have unintentionally pointed out a big flaw in the game, it's set in London where people drive on the right side of the road, but in this game it's the left like america
