- Our Parkour Experts, Omar Zaki and Sara Mudallal, are back for another Experts React episode. This time, they’ll be reacting to “Watch Dogs Legion”, which is a game about a dystopian future, set in London.
The “Watch Dogs Legion” story focuses on the hacker group DedSec as they seek to clear their names for a series of bombings they have been framed for, as well as liberate its citizens from the control of an oppressive private military company, which turned London into a surveillance state in the aftermath of the bombings.
The Parkour Experts, Omar and Sara, will judge the parkour moves in the game. From simple vaults, to roof top parkour and jumping from buildings, they’ll tell us what they think is realistic and what isn't. What do you think, is the parkour gameplay in “Watch Dogs Legion” realistic? Find out what the experts think, on this episode of Experts React.

I just hope one day you will react to Assassin's creed unity parkour. Hand down best parkour movement you will ever see in any video game.
I feel the parkour in WD2 uses more advanced moves, is smoother and chains together better. I prefer it over this.

interesting, i think in legion the parkour is smoother tho, it doesnt feel like vaulting slows me down
I think Legion was rushed. A lot of the physics is terrible. There is no water physics

With someone who actually uses the correct parkour buttons. Not just holding X/A when going straight forward. That's where people hate on it saying "gravity doesn't exist in unity" uh it does youre just holding parkour up so arno will jump ridiculously far as he's trying to go up and not across.
RT = Parkour across.
RT + A/X = Parkour up.
RT + B/O = Parkour down
People should know what the actual controls do lol. Sorry for the rant. Not played in a while so may be forgetting vaults and some bits. Lol

I do appreciate that not everyone seems to have the same level of ability. Some rolls were clean with some characters, others were a little sloppy with theirs, and so on.

It may have been a missed opportunity not bringing in real life parkour characters into this game, being that Britain has a thriving community.
Plus the lack of a subway is disturbing when you think of whether the game feels like London

also the tubes absolutely exist, they're fast travel stations. i can tell by the fact that you don't know that that you haven't actually played the game
@@Ben-rz9cf what does the future have to do with the game not feeling like London, and when I talk of the tube, I speak of a subway we as players can explore, like in the much older gta5. And yes I have played the game to get a feel of just how far it is from a real rendition of London. Only people fooled by this would be the Canadian dev team.

The reaction of them to the old lady was great, they suffered when the characters didn't roll , and the feedback they gave was nice, another great reaction couple.
I love how entertaining they are, the game doesn't have that much variety in moves since they're basically random npcs and they managed to keep it nice and fun
the parkour from watch dogs legion was a SIGNIFICANT downgrade from watch dogs 2 😕

I feel like the map was also not made particularly thinking about the parkour mechanic, it was more of a after thought. It isn't great parkour but it isn't bad either.

Doing Parcour on an old graveyard is a recipe for disaster! Those tombstones are often not properly anchored to the ground and can fall over without human interface. Doing a vault, or climb, is likely to cause them to fall over, at least one of them... And they're heavy!
That's really good to know! Hopefully no one tries parkour in a graveyard and finds out the hard way lol. I know I'll never be doing Parkour in a graveyard lol
@@OmarZaki I remember in the local news how a little boy climbed one stone and got crushed to death by it (his father was not strong enough to lift it).
From what I've read, the problem was that rain washed away the soil underneath it.
Where I live, we also have unfortunately quite a problem of people kicking them over! I need to be careful about what I write here on YT, but it is safe to say that religion is involved... (or rather three famous ones)

You should definitely show them gameplay of "Free Running". It's an older PS2/PC game, but it's really about parkour and shows off way more moves than the same 3 basic vaults.
When you talked about London being popular with parkour reminded me how almost every parkour channels I find are from the uk

It is called different teams and studios.
Ubisoft is the main company but are divided in several factions and groups to certain games and franchises.
It is why they have a variety of games like Military Shooters like Ghost Recon, to Stealth Spies in Splinter Cell, the wackiness of Raving Rabids, and the lite-fantasy of For Honor.

i know you guys have covered assassins creed a lot before, but it'd be really cool to see how the experts would react to the more challenging puzzle(ish) missions in AC2/Brotherhood! For example, the mission in ACB where ezio had to climb down the pantheon. btw love ALL of this content so much keep up the good work! 😄
The gameplay captured in for this video is much better than the ones for the other Parkour Experts React. Looks like they finally got someone good to play these games.

@@arKYbbu_44 Yeah my name was Alraïr and all, Also when I said AC 3 's parkour respect laws of physics, I havent played it. I just ordered it and waiting for that shit to arrive. So I wad hyped for that. Now I played ut and got into the story and, God...... AC 3 too have 0 respect to laws of physics especially when rock climbing as Connor. Connor can literally climb a horizontal crack upwards. Its still my favourite parkour but I was wrong when I said it respects physics

@@Systemicglee___ Ah, that. Well, Connor has the strength required to do that, after all. In real life it probably won't be that doable. But if you think that's unrealistic, go look at how Shay from AC Rogue climb a small scaffold using only his feet.
Man I wish they implemented a wider variety of parkour moves. But I get it, some people wouldn't be capable of doing it, but still, they could've added more than just vaults and inaccurate upward jumps to another ledge.

When i visited london,i did A LOT of parkour,but in the usa... it was kinda difficult to find good places to do parkour. 😅
the old lady and the construction workers with the flying platform they have are my 2 favorite character in legion
Ryan Doyle and Daniel Illabaca were two of my favorite parkour athletes back when I was heavily into it 😅 both are English too lol

@@filipkolasny908 First time i played it man was back when it was released in 2012 i used to play it on my tablet during the long school holidays while my mom worked till late so there was a nice old lady next door who looked after me and she had 2 grandsons who were in their 30s or 20s so they also hooked me up with games even tho they had decent jobs

Last time I jumped a fence that required hands for safety, I ripped through a pair of blue jean shorts. It wasn't even tipped. I used to run hurdles so I was always super cautious a fence with anything jutting out.

I loved the video but we're still waiting for parkour profesionals react to tricks in Vector and/or Vector 2
U can show them a few complete levels but chose wisely, some of them (bonus or not in the first one specially since that takes places in a city) can feel a bit draggy

I think these people would raally like assassin's creed syndicate. Rolling in that game has its own bottun. No matter what height; if you press B, or the playstation/pc equivalent, while in the air before you land then evie/jacob will do a roll. It's pretty cool bit also a bit silly at times when you roll after a short drop.
