The good people at Flamma were kind enough to send me two pedals to demo. I'm checking out the FS07 Cab loader, together with the FS06 Preamp. The FS07 is a stereo cab loader that allows you to save presets, use two different cabs at once (left and right), and gives you the option to load your own cabs. Combined with the FS06 Preamp, there's a lot of sounds to check out!

Fascinating. I ordered this to try with my tube preamps from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s to hear what it sounds like. My preamps all have separate "recording outputs" that are basically EQ-corrected to not sound like a DI or line outs (like H&K Red Box etc.) but it is 40 years and miles behind this tech. Can´t wait to try it with everything from Mesa V-Twin and original H&K Tubeman1 to the H&K Attax Rack which has stereo outputs, stereo FX sends and really badly EQ-ed early "recording outputs". Have you tried it with any analogue preamp? Thank you for your video!

It can be great to use with older analogue preamps. I've tried it with the Joyo American Sound (which is an analogue preamp pedal, a Fender like amp sound) and it works well. The Joyo has a built in eq curve too, and it still sounds good when you put the Flamma cab loader after it.
You can definitely use this to combine preamps with different cabs. Lots of fun, still on my pedalboard to this day!

Quick question or two: Can you run it in stereo (one cab sim on one side, another cab sim on the other)? And, can it handle a line level input (like from a Triaxis or ISP Theta Rack)?

The first question I can answer with yes. You can indeed run two separate cabs left and right.
The second question I don't know. Maybe someone else that uses it this way can shed some light on this?

Hello, yes, you can run it stereo (and even dual mono with 2 mono preamps and 2 guitars). The preamp they are selling with it outputs line level optimized for a line level input (like any FX pedal). I also want to use this with old tube preamps which have several different outputs. I already got my Mesa V-Twin, H&K Tubeman and H&K Attax rack out of storage and cleaned everything to prepare it for this little IR loader. The H&K Tubeman has "to mixer" outputs which is similar to your Triaxis "record"outs and the Attax has exact same "record outs". These are the early speaker simulated outputs, like the H&K "Red box" tech. All of these are line level as they were supposed to go either to the mixer or the power amp. Of course, these EQ-emulated outs from decades ago are nowhere as good as this cheap new tech, so I am expecting a new life for my tube preamps! So, use the outputs on Triaxis which you would normally connect to the power amp (not recording ones). BTW congratulations on your Triaxis, that is one hell of a preamp!

hi..how to assign different cabsim to different chanel (left and right)? ... can this be done on the fs07 pedal itself???... or is it done only from the software to which the pedal is connected?

Hi! You do that in the software. Once the irs are stored in the pedal preset slots (left and right), you no longer need the software.
