    4 tires Goodyear Eagle F1 265/40R21 105H =1200 $ in Turkey, so MB service tire prices highly expensive. But sometimes you have to buy it from an authorized service instead of a tire dealer if you are still under warranty conditions

    I have made a tough decision to say goodbye to my 23 EQS 580 due the frustration from the dealerships in my area. Tried two different dealerships in my area to update the computer software but failed with very painful experience to the point that I would take a huge lost to say goodbye to Mercedes. Switched to another German brand that can provide me better customer service. The car itself is a very good car, and I enjoyed driving it every sec on the road!

    Here are some good news from my Mercedeses: I own a 2007 and a 2008 E 320 BLUETEC diesels. One in the US (that was by accident, if I bought a Merc for the US it would be an S class sedan or, better, coupe), and the 2008 in my summer home overseas. One of the two keys in the 2008 was acting up, so I took it to an authorized Merc Service shop that is conveniently located just opposite the supermarket I go do my weekly shopping. As I suspected, it needed two new batteries (each twice the size of my watch battery, which the scalpers in the USA charged me $12.50 while the previous time it only cost $5.). The helpful mechanic served me on the spot, no wait, found the new batteries, installed them, tested the key and made sure it worked fine, and when I asked him what I owed them he =said NOTHING. Not even the cost of the two batteries? No, NOTHING. You can be sure that if and when the car needs anything, I will choose THEIR SHOP.

      Bought back by MBUSA means they paid you with negotiated price? My eqs580 gave me many problems. Charge port burned after first month, $4000 out of pocket fix. MB does not warranty to charge port. (EA reimbursed me but claimed no fault after frustrating 3 months). Car was in dealer shop for a month. 3rd month, suspension air leakage. Replaced under warranty, 2 weeks. many strange warnings popped up and go. Dealer fixed some. Now got recall notice. This is 8months ownership, only 5K miles. The worst experience over 14 years with MB. Thinking to ask MB to buy back, or hire a lemon law attorney to handle it.

    • @zakbronson9637
      @zakbronson9637 3 місяці тому

      @@jc080996 They returned all my money plus what I had spent on the car. It was under Lemon Law. I suggest going through their buyback program first before hiring an attorney. They will send you to a third-party company called Sedgwick. They took about $4000 of what I had to receive, which was the same as a lemon law attorney retainer, so it was worth it.

    19,100 miles ? That’s it? I have 56,100 miles on my EQS 450 without any problems at all. Also my tires lasted 35,000. The best tire to buy is the Pirelli All Season for electric cars. Yes, the range dropped by 10%, but after almost 20k miles - they look like they have at least another 30k to go. Amazing handling in both rain and snow (Big Bear). EQS Owner, I appreciate your reviews, however your assumptions re battery degradation may be flawed ( may be? ) The Mercedes capacity battery from what I’ve seen elsewhere is under rated from factory, so the “start” point isn’t 100% / 108Kw, at new the battery has a higher than rated capacity. So your battery at 98.4% may have degraded from a position higher than 100%, so the actual loss is greater than 1.6%. Another test after another say 10,000 miles using the current capacity as base line will give better clarity.
