- 2100 ELO is a goal I really want to reach on chess.com blitz but wow is it difficult to push beyond 2000 ELO in my opinion, opponents are crazy strong and pose problems constantly. Today's video features an English opening which goes surprisingly well but my admitted lack of understanding of many English positions allows my 2200 ELO opponent unnecessarily back into the game to cause me issues which leads to me finding a brilliant move to maintain the balance - hope you enjoy!

Yeh that's a nice idea tbf
I got sick of pushing 2100 blitz so I quit it and played rapid for a few weeks before returning. Guess what? my quality of moves increased rapidly and I suffered a tiny bit from time management but once I got adjusted I easily reached 2150. It's hard to find a balance between calculation and intuition.
I had a similar thing from 2000 to 2100 blitz about a month ago

im telling you when i play my 2000 blitz players we just draw every game, 2300s and above have some spoilt ratings cause i actually beat them more than the 2000s-2100s
