What I love about your reviews, is the fact that you take them to the real world usage with each review. I truly appreciate your efforts. I gave a listen at L&M and it sounds really good. So I might go with 2 of these for my Mobile DJ business
Very comparable sound wise... The EXM mobile tower weighs 20 pounds less than the HK. Mostly because of the spacers on the exm but i don't like how flimsy they are. To each his own though it might not be a big deal for someone else. I recommend listening to them both live so you can make your own decision. Thanks for watching my videos!
I have a pair of RCF J8's that I love but looking for a battery option column array. Have you ever A/B'd this against an RCF J8? If so how do they compare?
Hey, what is the size and weight of just the sub? I'm still trying to build a flyable system, and with the total system weight of 40.5 lbs and the flight case from Pelican being 15.2 lbs, it's over the weight limit. I'm wondering if I could split up the pieces and get the weight to under 50 lbs.
Sorry man the sub is most of the weight and I don’t think it’s gonna make much of a difference if you separate the spacers and the mid/highs. You still might be a little overweight. Appreciate you for watching though🙏
@@DjNinesworld Thanks! The search continues. This system has too many dealbreakers for me. I returned the JBL PRX One, because it was super unstable and the amp cut out at high volumes. It doesn't have a battery, so advantage here, but the Eon One MKII does and it has the same issues, and then some. I'm looking for one that is flyable, stable, and has a removable battery. Maybe one day.
In the testing segment. Are you using a small sound board? Also, you had one XLR cable plugged into the “Main Input”. Is that cable plugged into the left XLR out on your board?
This in my opinion blows away the Exm mobile 12 in terms of output, bass & clarity. I haven’t heard the mackie thrash 212 myself but if you have the Everse 8 I wouldn’t replace them with the mackies. I would imagine they would be similar in output or at least close from what I hear and then the mackie is significantly larger and heavier aswell. Some things to think about
In my opinion, I was at a rental store and heard both and ended up choosing the EXM Mobile Tower over the JBL, better bass, clarity and IDK why but, I threw ALOT out of my DJ controller and I didn't see the speaker clip and I was super impressed... the JBL was clipping super early and it took a long time to mess with the gains to get ok output...
Great review! Thanks. I think I'll try them out now. Was debating getting these or Maui 5 go. Did you use a separate sub at these events, or just 2 columns?
Wusssssup Bro!!! They definitely look good!!! How is the sub output? The specs read down to 38hz... Do they really sound that low? I know that's gonna vary pending on what type of music is being played... But do they "bottom out"? When/if played too hard?
The sub has a decent output for a 10 incher! They sound great when your within 10-15ft of the actual system. They do have their limitations though most definitely. You gotta hear them for yourself live. You’ll love them. Thanks for watching🙏
I rented 1 of these and now about to buy 2 of them.. even though it is battery powered... this 1 unit sounded better than BOTH of my Mackie SRM Flex array speakers... sadly it sounds like it pushes way more bass than both combined as well so that is why I'm buying 2 of these and getting rid of My Mackie Thump 212 speakers I recently just bought... way better sound in my opionion

I appreciate that! Thank you and good luck on your Dj business
Been waiting for this! Considering everything you said, I still lean towards getting them! Definitely looks like a good purchase 🎉
Yessir!!🙌🏻
Great review brother! I gotta hear this speaker!
You’ll love them bro!
How does this compare to the HK Polar 12 you reviewed? Which one o you like better>? Thanks for the awesome reviews!

that vs exm mobile 8 with sub?
Which one will have more vol plus bass?
Hmmmm that would make a great comparison video. But off the top of my head i think the exm mobile tower will have more output but it will be close
I think as for top quality the towel will be more details and warmer sounding ?
What is the better buy exm mobile 8 with sub or that one overall louder and cleaner ?
I have a pair of RCF J8's that I love but looking for a battery option column array. Have you ever A/B'd this against an RCF J8? If so how do they compare?
Sorry i haven't tried the RCF J8's but I've heard great things
how does it compares to Ev evolve 50?
Very comparable to the Evolve 50. On paper almost the same
Well done ..5 stars 😊
Great review bro
Glad you liked it
HK Polar 12 vs this one, which one gets louder? how is the sound on the mid and high end comparing to the HK polar 12? I am debating which one to get
Very comparable on paper and in person i must say!
What about this tower vs the exm mobile 8 paired with the exm mobile sub
Tough to say but i would go with the exm tower for overall power & volume

Yes I was using a Yamaha MG10XU. And that was precisely how I plugged them in
I rented this for a wedding gig. Worked out super well! I rented it because of your honest review of it! Great work!!
I’m glad you enjoyed it at your wedding gig! Appreciate you🙏
Can this Bluetooth to two speakers to get stereo sound?
Yes but it must be another exm mobile tower!
Does it require an XLR cable or is it wireless?
@@det0nator If you pair these through bluetooth its going to obviously be wireless
Hi i have exm mobile 8. Which one is the loud that tower one or the exm mobile 8?
The Exm mobile tower is waaaaay louder plus it has a 10 inch sub too. Can’t even compare the Exm mobile 8 to this to be honest
Quesution what about exm8 with sub which is louder

How would you compare this to the exm mobile 12? I’m waiting for the mackie thrash 212 go to release to maybe replace my everse 8s.

So how does this compare to the HK polar 12 you reviewed? Which one do you like better?
Very similar but I have to give the edge to the Yorkville just because it has reverb and the HKs don’t. Lighter and battery powered too
How does this compare to the JBL EON ONE MK2?
Very similar when it comes to specs but the yorkville gets more output
In my opinion, I was at a rental store and heard both and ended up choosing the EXM Mobile Tower over the JBL, better bass, clarity and IDK why but, I threw ALOT out of my DJ controller and I didn't see the speaker clip and I was super impressed... the JBL was clipping super early and it took a long time to mess with the gains to get ok output...

I just used the 2 columns for these events. You'll love the towers! Thanks for watching!
what did you choose, what are your findings?
@@jules94 these are way more powerful than the Maui 5 go.

@@DjNinesworld Thanks for sharing Bro! That's a nice compact system that looks like it could fit in the back seat of someones car
Most definitely will!
What has more bass 🔊 that or exm mobile sub or better yet mobile sub with exm8 vs that ?

So how many people do you think one would cover for a party? 50 people? 100?
1 can safely do 50 people. Anything over 100 and you need 2 now
That or ev everse 8
This EXM mobile tower has Waaaaaaay more output than the reverse 8!
