The PARASOURCE lineup from Yorkville is amazing. I own a couple of PS12pS, and have no complaints. I have used them both for DJing and in live sound applications. Don’t do very much of either, but they get the job done and have no regrets buying them. My only complaint is the weight, but that’s only a minor inconvenience.
Thanks for the video. I have the PS15P's and yeah the SPL is very nice. I don't bring them out often because of the weight, but this video has me wanting to use the more.
Once you get into higher output situations, the extra available headroom, significantly better clarity (BMS compression driver) and multi-band processing in the Parasource will show you why it's in a (pricier) league of its own - especially in live sound situations. For smaller events however, and for its price, the YXL is certainly a great affordable active cab.
The weight of those PS15Ps is no joke!! That’s another huge advantage of the YXL. I would struggle to lift that 65 lbs on to a stand over and over again
Hey bro, happy new year! Are you looking into going outside of yorkville as far as options? Or do you want to stay with yorkville and just upgrade within the brand? Because what you have now is pretty high quality speakers.
parasource are pro level speakers, very heavy and powerful, yxl would do for most small-medium clubs, this a comparison between a top level and mid level speaker
What’s everyone using for stands for these yxl speakers? They wobble lots on a standard 35mm stand since the hole is 36mm. I can’t seem to find a 36mm stand
Hi, I just went to long & McQuade and someone from there advice me that PS12P sound better than ps15p. And the 12 is heavier than 15. Just want to know your opinion. Thanks
The ps12p is 60lbs. The ps15p is 65lbs. Both professional loudspeakers have the same Amplifier in them, 1400 watts rms, 4400 watts peak. The only advantage the ps15p has over the ps12p really is that it has 134db peak... vs the ps12p at 133db peak level... I own a pair of ps12p's.. they are a phenomenal world class top tier Loudspeaker. The only brand I see coming close to them are RCF.
I just bought two yxl 15p’s. I was told that they would blow a JBL partybox 310 out of the water. But honestly the JBL partybox is almost better…. The yxl is maybe a bit louder outdoors but I’m very surprised that they don’t put the partybox to shame. Little disappointing but is what it is. Should I pair the two yxl’s with a sub? I just can’t understand how that little partybox has better bass and sound than a big pa speaker with a 15” woofer.
If you want that extra bass thump like all djs do. Then yes i would definitely get an 18 inch sub. That party box is still a beast but i wouldn't use it in a professional setting. Thanks for watching
@@DjNinesworld after using them again, I can see now that the yxl’s are definitely way louder and better sounding plugged into a controller or mixer, which makes sense, the party boxes are built around Bluetooth compatability. The yxls are crazy when used as they should and not over Bluetooth, now to just find stands that work!
@@moparmagic400 Nice! Yes most speakers work optimal used as suggested. I do find a lot of speakers loose spl when used through bluetooth aswell. Glad you figured that out. Cheers
Ive got a es21p subwoofer on the way, and ill admit i bought ot just for the stats. Havent heard one and having trouble finding reviews online. Have you heard anything about the 21 inch subs from yorkville? Good or bad just curious.
Hey brother i'll be honest you its a phenomenal sub! Great choice! I'll be working my way to demo all of yorkvliles subs here on my channel aswell. Take it easy

Hmmm really?! Was it someone who worked there? I can imagine the clarity of the mids & highs possibly being better on the 12p but on paper they are almost identical. I've tried both of these speakers and i can definitely tell you that the output and bass response on the 15s is a little better. But honestly this is a good comparison video to make. So look out for this comparison video in the next coming weeks. Thanks for watching and for your question!

RCF 945a is the way to go.
RCFs are beasts too!
Is the YXL12p better than the Mackie Thump 12” ?
Yes they are. I’ve heard them both
Absolutely. I've also reviewed both, and the YXL wins in every aspect.
Keep the yxl and get a sub 👌🏾and a good mixer
Preach!!!
I should have came with you to hear the comparison live! Lol
💯!!!
Everse 12 portable is out now and pioneers speakers
