We are located in Eastern PA, zone 5. And we have been following your channel because we have a TON of black raspberry bushes that grow wild here at the border of our property line. We are finally trellising them up and tying them for easier harvesting next season. Last year, we didn't get to it because my little one was about 3 months old so we had our hands full. Please keep posting, we LOVE your videos!
That is so awesome! The small clip in this video where our chicken is climbing a mulberry tree - that tree was also planted by a bird. Funny but thus far we have only one chicken that has learned how to climb trees.
Yes! I love jostaberry! Jostaberries make exceptionally delicious jams and jellies. So good with pancakes. It’s actually high on my list of video ideas.
We have raspberries, wineberry, wild BlackBerry, and one small, sad black raspberry. Over the last 3 days we have picked over 1.5 lbs of fruit from the raspberry and wineberry plants!!!
Yes! I am looking forward to them ripening. They have a bad tendency to drop the fruit midway through the season. Hopefully it’ll stay on and we’ll shoot an awesome video this fall.
Awesome. Thanks for watching our videos! We love thimbleberries, they are so unique and delicious! In PA we also have wineberries - they’ll be in season soon. They are kind of like red raspberries, but the berries are SO STICKY! My hope is to make a short video about those.
@@YouCanToday Yes, those wineberry plants are really interesting. They are everywhere here on Long Island, they are an invasive species from southeast Asia. They are good but they don't make good preserves, red raspberries are best for that. Juneberries/serviceberries are excellent too, I discovered them while hiking in northern Wisconsin, could not believe how good they were.
@@fredherbert2739 For some reason pectin does not work with it, I tried different types and tried adding double the amount and it still did not set properly. I did make a good "freezer jam" from it once, if I recall that was a non pectin thickener that doesn't require cooking.
It's wonderful how many interesting plants you ca have in your garden. I will also try to make my garden as beautiful as yours. Thank you!!
Thank you :)
Good luck with the project, Таня!☺️👌 вы молодцы
Благодарю :) Рады что вы нашили наш канал и смотрите наши видео 😊

The birds planted two mulberry trees in my yard last year. 😀

Could you do a video on Josta berries? Your place looks like berry heaven!

@@YouCanToday Yup, mine dropped already.
Awesome, there is a lot of other cool brambles like wineberries and thimbleberries. Gotta have peach and cherry trees too

@@shawns0762 Why do they not make good preserves? I was going to try it tomorrow. Thanks in advance
Wow, I never knew that they were invasive! How interesting.
