- Greetings faithful viewers! In this seat of the pants vid i show a common issue affecting Ford F series trucks including F250, F350, F450 Super Duty 4X4 pickups with a straight front axle and have a symptom of death wobble at speeds above 20-30MPH. Watch this video for helpful insights and a quick repair process for addressing the common issue of a worn trac bar end joint. I apologize that a portion of the video showing the extraction of the actual joint is missing and I cant seem to find it. Although the process is fairly straight forward nonetheless.

Thank you sir your video on 6.4 ball joint replacement was incredibly useful. I had the death wobble as well which was fixed by replacing the bushing on the other end of the trac bar. Had to heat it up to dull red for it to press out.
Happy Easter Mr Tim. Glad to see you up and moving.
Glade to see you back!!!
God bless you and your family on this Easter Sunday!!

Hi Tim, Awesome cool video thumbs up. I hope you had a blessed fun Easter Sunday. Stay well & safe.
Thank you so much for sharing your very informative auto mechanic videos. I saw one a year or so ago where you showed how to replace i think it was wheel bearings on a subaru. I have a 09 forester that has needed a lot of maintenance. I wish I lived closer to you so you could show me how to work on my car or help me with it.
'04 Chevy Trailblazer EXT. When I replaced the rear springs I had to remove the trac bar. The rear end shifted, as was to be expected. Easy way to get it back in alignment: ratchet strap! Hook one end to the passenger side of the frame, the other to the driver side of the rear axle. A few strokes on the ratchet assembly and everything was lined up gooder than good! They also come in handy to compress shock absorbers for installation. And here Red Green thought duct tape was the handyman's secret weapon!
what truck lift do you use and what is it rated for?
❤
Where is your shop located in Anchorage? Im having issues with my car and would prefer if you looked at it.
Hi sir. Great and thorough video, like always!
I live in the area and I'd love to see if you're taking any new clients. I have a truck that needs some work. What's the best way to contact you about setting up an appointment or something?
Contact Doner Automotive. Thanks

Ata boy ,
Always thought death wobble only happen on chrysler products.
Because aside from F250/350/450 no one else but Chrysler uses a solid front axle in a light duty vehicle anymore. (Ram HDs/Wranglers/Gladiators). I've been daily driving a 98 Ram 4x4 since new and have never experienced death wobble. I also maintain my vehicles...
