Best guess is that his robotic leg got damaged when she dropped that massive book shelf on him. That’s the only logical explanation since both his legs are robotic and he would stumble out of pain or exhaustion

Vader often gets beaten up when fighting jedi. He can tank damage, but is too slow to avoid everything. Being mostly machine means he doesn't really care getting hit in most places.

When the door opened and I saw Vader I just said "Shit" because I knew there was no winning that boss fight
I really thought I was about to be kick azz then the door opened n I was like “well we had a good ride nvm y’all” 😂
I mean, you do technically win the fight. But plot armour wins the story.
Then we saw the health bar but even with a health bar he needs to give like his treatment

I like how Vader is so unbelievably scary and strong that even though she died and didn’t win, everyone can see Vader stumble and it’s like someone won a gold medal. It’s crazy just how strong he is and perceived by everyone
lets be honest he only won because plot and he had to live for canon. she def would have killed him otherwise.

The only logical evolution of the Vader in this trilogy is Vader va Cal. They narrowly escape him the first time but Cal gets hurt, Trilla dies and Cere almost died a few times. This time, Cere died. Third time? Cal dies? Defeats Vader and thinks he killed him but he survives and never finds him again?
There should be a mini game in between like miles Morales where we play as kata (assuming she's force sensitive I forgot whether she is or not)
At the time, that was probably the closest darth vader has come to dying. And leaving a scratch on him is an accomplishment in of itself.
Couldn't have put it better myself, Cere did a lot better in that situation than a lot of other Jedi around that time.
@@LeramieCrumpwe even see it in the comic books, other Jedi fought him but they were like nothing to him. Not the rebel army, not Jedi masters or knights, there are a select few people that actually fought him and survived.
And the implication here, being that Cal 'did not,' in fact, arrive just as Cere fell, but was already gone and he found her body, seeing everything she had just gone through with his Psychometry (reading objects by touch).
so did she fall flat on her back and then he just picked her up when he got there and saw everything
I think the way it happened it can’t make 100% make sense unless clarified but it’s a heavy scene nonetheless so I don’t think it’s much of an issue
Another implication here is that Cere was recalling the last 2 people important to her, that being Cal and Trilla. She wasn't talking to Cal in that moment

My interpretation of Cere saying *"Trilla...."* was Cere trying to warn Cal not to make the same mistakes that Trilla did by craving and seeking revenge and thus winding up becoming the very thing he has been fighting against: an Inquisitor.
Regardless, I highly doubt Cal is going to survive the third game, so he will either die at the hands of Vader, or he will die pulling a heroic sacrifice of some sort.
Either he dies or Merrin dies and he goes full darkside for a portion of the game over it.
Why don’t you wait and see what happens

I don't think there was a sadder death than Cere's in Star Wars. What makes her death all the more tragic is that she died a violent death, and Cal was there to witness it, or at least through the Force, and we could see his devastation and sorrow. She was like a mother to him.
All the important characters we saw dying in Star Wars either died alone, or with characters that weren't that important to them, except Vader, but his death wasn't sad as he fulfilled his destiny.
Kanan Jarrus' death was also sad, but as it was animated, it had less of an impact (this is far more realistic animation)
Obi-Wan's death wasn't that sad as Luke barely knew him.
Yoda died peacefully.
I really can't think of anyone else who died in a such a way, hence why I think it was the saddest.
Fives the arc trooper's death broke me into tears when he died from being shot

Her part in Cal's story is huge, she becomes his master. Him holding her dying, in his arms - this is pretty strong stuff in general . Not only if you are really into the story. Which - SW theory clearly is not. thats it. I was suprised and disappointed, but his interest clearly lies elsewhere - and thats totally fine of course.

It’s sad enough that Cere dies but for it to be Cal as the one who shows up in her final moments, it just takes it to another level.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. He saw her final moments through a force echo, and after that is when the room’s lights are out and ash is falling around him.

When I saw Darth Vader i knew it was going to be it for her. She put up a really good fight though. I mean she gave him a run for his money. The way he was limping away. Her ability to f*ck him up a little shows her title of Jedi Master

I hate Theory’s gameplay during this scene. Screaming “kill her” over and over and attempting to die. I like Theory’s content sometimes, but man he makes it hard when he shows how he’s just a Vader/Luke fanboy and acts like nobody else is on their level. Literally, there are several individuals who can take on Vader and hold their own, and it was awesome to see Cere hold her own for a bit.

@@caydenwilson5621 Any reasoning? It’s made very apparent that since Fallen Order, Cere has been in deep training and meditation with the force to grow more powerful. It’s shown that she’s not a weak Jedi. I hope you realize while Vader is extremely powerful, he’s not invincible especially with his suit and physical conditions. She died fighting him so I don’t see your point. Kanan and Ezra held out for about 10 seconds on their own, and they survived because they outsmarted him luckily. This doesn’t mean Cere is on Vader’s level, but I don’t see your problem with people being able to fight Vader and do well against him when we’re shown time and time again that while he’s very powerful, he has a physical limit, which allows more agile foes to combat him better. I’ll tell you right now, Cere is a much better trained Jedi with more experience than RotJ Luke, and that’s not a knock to Luke, it’s just their differing situations, but Luke defeated Vader (he was a bit older too) but without as much training as say Cere, Ahsoka, other Jedi who had immense training in the Clone Wars.
