I don't understand the people who are saying that putting Darth Vader and not just some Inquisitors into this fight was fanservice. Of course Vader would come himself, Bode gave the information that there are 2 Masters and a well trained Knight and Vader had a score to settle with Cere and Cal after they escaped him. And compared to a Master, Inquisitors are weak af
The top inquisitor literally lost to a guy who hadn’t even been knighted at the time of 66. So yeah of course Vader would come to fight a master he’d let slip in the past
In the comics Vader literally hunted remaining Jedi as that was a long assignment given from palps himself
Yeah like people don't realize just how strong Jedi Masters are--regular Inquisitors don't stand a chance. That's why Vader leads the group

Honestly this is the first proper vader fight in a star wars game since the force unleashed 2 and unlike that game he not the final boss on this and still he delivered an amazing fight

Yeah unfortunately I knew it was over for her. I thought maybe, just maybe she might stand a chance.. but she pretty much killed herself. She got cocky and charged Vader and somehow missed him. He didn’t miss though lol. I liked Cere but I couldn’t ever really get passed what she did to Trilla. If I had a child under my care you’d have to kill me. I’d never let anyone hurt them. Cere gave in and gave up her Padawan.

The one in the obi wan series is the one that counted the most, vader wasn’t fully in his prime but obi wan was rusty asf and vader still lost
Everything about Vader is so badass, even the dialogue
I don’t care what anyone else thinks, this scene was incredible. An absolute pain in the ass that took me around four hours to actually beat, but still incredible. Vader was perfect and I loved the dialogue between he and cere. Her character really came full circle in the end there
This scene plays out like one of the Vader comics, the dialogue and the set piece. It feels very comic book, and I mean that in a good way.
That's why I think a vader game done like the comics would be fun

@@nuetro1709 Yeah at the end of the final Dagan fight, Bode mentions that he was given a hallucination and he was worried about his daughter. It's been a while since I played, so I don't remember the exact dialogue

Nah--Vader was definitely toying with her up until the final Phase, but she did genuinely put up a fight. She was still very much outclassed and she never would have killed him, but she caught him off guard and held her own
Tbf to vader, he was playing with her and using the force to mess with her until the debris fell on him which damaged his suit. Even with vaders damaged suit that limited his performance he still won in the end with being smart and using hwr over-confidence against her thinking she would killed him@itsmeike
@@T1TopYeah I viewed the first 2 phases as him purposefully being easy. Then when he got debris dropped on him, he probably knew he had to wrap things up and patch his circuits lol.

It’s actually really impressive that the game is telling you to stand your ground or you’ll get punished for it in the gameplay and it works narratively as well
I love how everyone looks so bored until Vader shows up lol.
For those who say that Vader shouldn't have had a hard time fighting her, you must know he wasn't. Not until the last phase at least.
For most of the fight he's just toying with her, never going serious enough to end it. And that's because Vader by that point was seeking some challenge and almost all Jedi were either dead or hiding.
The fact that he was toying for most of the time gave Cere the chance to do some good damage to Vader, who right after went serious. Sure he was hurt somewhat. A whole library fell on him.
And it's not like Vader is known for his speed and agility. Cere was faster and more agile, but she still needed to find an opening, but the only time she did it was Vader who created it to end it.
Also, that look back he did, I think that was his way to show his respect that she actually stayed and fought and didn't try to run (again).
I have to say I liked Vader's introduction in Fallen Order more. Like, you see Trilla and suddenly hear some steps... you become suspicious. Then you hear the breathing and you can see the expression on Trillas face change and you just enter panic mode.
And no, its not a patience bar. A Vader that can catch the ass beating of a lifetime and still win is by far more terrifying than an untouchable Vader.

All star wars can agree with me when I say that any game with Vader as a boss fight knows that’s when the game REALLY begins
Something that I find annoying is everybody complaining that Sierra actually stood a chance against Vader. Y’all do know that Vader isn’t invincible, right? I mean, he is incredibly powerful, but he’s not unbeatable.
She didn't tho, he could've tanked that finisher if she had landed it and continued fighting. Look at the canon comics they demonstrate how broken he is. I do get your point tho he isnt invincible, she definitely deserves credit for being this strong. But its very likely he underestimated her as he was still more arrogant at this time and wasnt at his prime.

Finished the game yesterday. I think that Cere is far more powerful than anyone thought before this fight, purely because her power hadn’t had to be demonstrated in this way. The fight gave me so much respect for Cere

The thing the i always hate about some star wars fans is treat Vader as some kind of GOD, that if someone touch him and make a good Fight with him is a offense to the character 😮💨
Cause he is unstoppable. The only people that beat him in his prime or stood a chance was the Jedis that were extremely close to him since they knew he fighting movements. Other than that, any other Jedi wouldn't stand a chance against Darth Vader. This game got it right though at least because the only way Cere was hurting him was through cheap attacks which I don't blame her cause no one can beat him one on one.

The ONLY reason I was able to get past this part is cuz my PS5 glitched and trapped Vader in the floor.
This was my same reaction with the girl. My mouth was just COMPLETELY to the floor. I was like, “WHAT?!? Darth Vader, NO FREAKING WAY!”
That wasn't a surprise. It was predictable that they would bring vader at the end again, after he showed up in fallen order. I played the scene for the first time and I thought: "I knew it."
