Curious to see another route or outcome if Peter really died in this scene. Harry would've definitely be hellbent on killing every villains that had fought Peter before.
He did die though, the symbiote literally revived him.

I've just realized that Peter DID in fact die in this scene. The Symbiote just revived him, but he would've been dead if not for the Symbiote
Yeah, I don’t think a lot of people realized that he actually died lol.
I believe he was just unconscious. Or damn nearing death. Which again I think is stupid because it was just a stab which Peter has survived before. If he actually did die then that's it. The symbiote can't bring people back to life, it can only heal and detect illnesses and heal them.

Harry didn’t give up the symbiote, it left him unwillingly. But wish insomniac made it to where Harry sacrificed his health by transferring the suit to save Peter. It would’ve made Harry even more likable and made players even more conflicted when we have to fight him later

@@Last2BrainSells yes it would, the rest of the story could’ve played out exactly the same but changing that one detail would’ve made us like Harry even more. Like if Harry would’ve said “I know if take the suit off I won’t have long to live, but I don’t care I’m going on save my best friend !

If he actually died Harry would’ve become venom or if he was still nice and kind he would’ve been a stronger hero (don’t know what to specify him) considering he almost killed kraven because he wasn’t even venom during that fight with kraven.

Every single actor was performing at their peak in this scene. From Lowenthal delivering those strained last words as Peter is leaning on MJ bleeding out and impaled. Bailey's delivery of the panicked MJ trying to comfort and reassure Pete whilst getting him to safety, knowing damn well everything ain't gonna be alright cause she just saw Kraven break the blade off a bowie knife in man's gut. Phillips and his portrayal of the rage and intent to kill Harry and his symbiote had towards kraven, to the heartbreak of watching his best friend die. And let's not forget the cold as line delivery "not as venomous as they say" from Pirri as Kraven.

What i loved about the game is while fighting kraven as the symbiote you feel that rage inside you, like your there. Beating the shit out of him,wanting nothing more, than to tear him limb by limb until there is nothing left but his head...

In all seriousness in the back of my mind I knew he wasn't going to die for good, but the way it was done made me cry so hard I was afraid someone would question my sanity! If Peter does eventually die I am going to ball my freaking eyes out! Yuri Lowenthal is an always will be my favorite Spider-Man!

Were you able to finish the game? I cried when scorpion died, when we found out Vulture is dead, And shocker! @@scottylewis8124 no, technically Miles revived him so that made me happy. I did cry but mostly because Peter was crying so hard. The part that made me sob was Peter's dialogue between his fight with Miles. It was extremely heartbreaking!

Seeing this I initially tought Insomniac trolled us with trailers, exactly how E3 Spider-Man PS4 did with Mr. Negative. At this point i really tought that Peter was actually dead and the game continued with Miles and Harry team up against Kraven and final boss Miles VS Venom. Really good scene.

As Peter dies with Harry and MJ beside him, the camera pans out slowly to a black fade and the credits slowly started to appear but instead comes Venom's voice and it says "Peter"
I would have paid money for that. The reaction would be priceless.

Imagine if there was like some QTE in this part of the game that randomly appeared and if you failed it you would go on as Harry instead of Peter.

@@nebbia2453 They don't have to show it at all. All they have to do to get the point across that the story is about symbiotes is to show venom a few times. Plenty of games have deceptive trailers meant to throw you off so everyone can't guess the plot of the game months in advance.

I know it’s really because he’s a main character in the game but realistically he’s been stabbed in the ribs would’ve died within five minutes the blood loss because he got stabbed in the ribs. He would’ve died before the symbol could’ve held him. Because if you get stabbed in and then the knife in his body but I’m pretty sure he would be in pain from that
He did die before the symbiote got to him. It revived him
I feel like what they gave us was fine. Yeah it's a pretty surefire way to die quickly but Peter is a superhuman and has been shown many times to not only survive things that would kill normal people but also heal faster. That makes it plausible that even a stab like that would take longer to kill him. Plus even being dead, there's still a few minutes for resuscitation to work 💁♂️

Crazy how Peter got stabbed in the spine by a poisonous scorpion blade, continued fighting after nearly half of his bones were broken, and got stabbed in the chest by doc ocks arms…but a dagger in the stomach kills him

Kraven is much stronger than Spider-Man, hunted down all of his most powerful villains and defeated them with ease, and caught Spider-Man off gaurd, stabbing him in a lethal area, twisting the knife, then breaking it. There's also debate on the knife being poisoned, but where he was stabbed, and by who, it wouldn't have mattered either way.
Sure but this time he got stabbed in the kidney or the ribs. On top of that, with a poisoned blade.
