Missing the biscuit of the week review, enjoy the vlogs as always. Feels like its the closed season for those of us who remember them, take care and stay safe.
My absolute go to as well Leon, I’ve tried other and caught on others, but nothing is a simple and efficient as the multi, I buy the little coloured AAAs to balance, reuse them as and when I can (life of working for the NHS, you have to reuse what you can 😂), great stuff 👍🙏🙌🏻
This is the perfect vid, alot of people just show how to tie the rigs but don't explain when and why you'd use the rig.
This is the rig I used to always use brilliant little rig, and since the Ronnie come out not used it! I’m going to go back to this rig, I like to drop of silicon on the hook eye 👌... great little video mate 👍

Started using this rig a few years back after watching one of your earlier vlogs as I didn't like the messing about with the Ronnie and like you say you can change hooks and tie it easily which is good after a 2am run.
I love the multi rig, ive got many in my armory, very effective!!!!!!!!

Was wondering now we're on lockdown would you be doing an upto date video on self take photography i.e. : what camera settings you use day and night plus how you do your amazing time lapse videos, I've. Just purchased canon 700d , rhino light and intervalomiter and I'm a total novice with a dslr lol ....
Cheers Leon for the video as the lockdown is taking its toll on my sanity🤪two things why I like your rig is one is u don’t have to keep spending on hooklengh material and two i find it a very good pop up rig as it’s got a great claw grab effect due to the doubled up loop line👌but to be honest I can think of another half a dozen rigs what are just as effective as the multi in there own way! I suppose it’s like anything else it’s all down to the personal preference of the angler! Thanks Danboy👊
It’s a great rig and yes there are many good rigs out there which is why I love fishing so much
Love your videos, such a likeable person. What mainline do you recommend/use that is 15lb breaking strain? Going to re spool my reels and had Gardner gthd but unsure if there’s better out there?

Thanks for the video. Quick question, why would you use this over the 360 rig and visa versa?
Could this be tied with hook with an in turned eye, like a curve shank, and used with a bottom bait?

I’ve seen your other vid the one about slip d multi rig. Which rig do you think is better? The multi rig or slip d multi rig? You said that the multi rig should be a stiff /semi stiff hook link to give you the distance from lead to hook link to creat a resistance but the slip d is soft hook link to give them more room to suck it in? And are they ok for bottom baits or just pops and wafters ?

Great video Leon 👏 do you ever use a bait screw on a ring instead of the ring swivel you use? A bait screw would be easier to mount baits but does it reduce presentation?
Yes you can use a bait screw
Love the multi rig 👍.I have seen a couple of videos now,showing putting a bit of silicone between the eye of the hook and the micro swivel.The videos say its to help keep the loop in place on the cast as it can't slip so easily,is this something you have ever tried

Do you use Snowman on Multi's?
Hi Leon, hope you're well mate. Just wondered about hooklink selection. If fishing it on a heli setup could I still use a stiff hooklink when over silt and light weed? Does the heli mean it'll still sit OK or would semi stiff still be better here?
Yes, just push the bead further up 🙂
I prefer the Ronnie rig over the multi , I like to use mesh bags ,, the weight of the bag would pull the loop shut , or is there a method to stop this happening ?
I use a PVA nugget inside the loop

Yes you can use bait screws 👍

Probably a size 7 or 8

Hi Leon I want one rig that I can use for bottom baits, waiters, popups and be able to chnage the hook. Is this suitable for bottom baits or wafters or am I better to have a dedicated rig for them?
Yes you can use for both popups and bottom baits

I love this rig dropping it from a bait boat but I panick that the loop will slip on the impact with the water after casting.
Some people add a bit of shrink tubing onto the loop after the micro swivel and that's pushed up against the hook to hold it in place. Once shrunk of course. That should give you some reassurance.
