True, out of all of Jigsaw's so called punishments, I never understood his stance. Like there are drug dealers, rapists, child rapists and serial killers he could target, but instead he chooses to target only the vulnerable, fools, idiots and misguided individuals.
Because it was a stupid one off B movie that was admittedly well made that shouldn't have gone on as long as it did. Unfortunately though you actually have stupid people who would just about worship jigsaw's faulty ass logic thinking it's true and or "deep".

I believe the sequels also revealed that Amanda negligently threw Adam’s key into the tub instead of placing it in a place where he could have realistically caught it - Adam was meant to be free to move around the room during this game and that’s what was causing Amanda’s nightmares. I always thought it was fucked up, Amanda should have freed Adam, not killed him.
@@Seph_vision no, that’s the right scene. when Singh and Tap use the fire alarm clue to locate Jigsaw’s workshop, they get there and remove one of the big black blankets revealing the Bathroom diorama.
Yea later on in the series Jigsaw called Amanda out and let her know that he had been watching her an that she had been making victims play games they couldn’t win by doing things like this , one trap Amanda put a lady in and Amanda made it so that the key didn’t work and the lady died even though she won the game
One thing that never makes any sense with Jigsaw is he just arbitrarily decides that about half the people he grabs don't get any chance whatsoever to live, and their survival is entirely dependent on the actions of other people.
I think it's to give them the delusion of survival. It's honestly torture. You could have done it the right way if you just KNEW. But you didn't, look how bad of a person you are, murderer. It's not as if I didn't give you a reasonable chance given that I have a good enough grasp of your personality that would enable me to screw you over.
Jigsaw insists he's not a murderer, but has a bunch of games where anyone can live, but one person/half the people/all but one person HAS to die If you create a "whoever loses this minigame dies" trap, you're definitely killing someone
Kira from Death Note 's method and motive were more justifiable than Jigsaw's. The majority of Kira's victims were criminals who commited actual serious crimes (The others were the wrongly convicted and investigators). Yes, some of John's were real criminals ,but most were ones who commited minor felonies, taboos, bad habbits and redeemable mistakes (and investigators). Most of Kira's Victims get easy ends without their bodies mutilated, and Kramer's suffers agony and mutilation whether or not they survive

I feel like I would do that but mostly because I'm too familiar with zombie media so that would be my first thought, to incapacitate. Obviously that doesn't do much for a living threat but it's just etched into my brain now
Leg shot is at least as lethal as a body shot because it could hit the major artery resulting to a death of blood loss. So shooting center mass is always best
The whole "Jigsaw isn't actually a murderer" thing made literally no sense Like, if you stab someone but leave a phone somewhere in the room for them to find and call and ambulance, you're still a murderer if they die
A better way to put it would be that Jigsaw doesn't actively kill his victims (like shoot them) but rather passively, by putting them into death traps that are supposed to kill them (unless they escape, which is supposed to be possible). It's still murder, just an indirect form of murder
How was Gordon going to beat sawing his foot off? Break it. It'll be more painful but if jigsaw is truly the mastermind then he would still have a way to help Gordon
I heard something similar about this some murderer argued that he didn't kill them the gun did He got a life sentence the gun wasn't charged with anything
@homicidal mango 2nd degree is when the murder isn't premeditated/deliberate. I guess you could say it isn't deliberate (for some of them), but it's definitely premeditated
i always found adam and lawrence's trap so unfair. adam was bound to die from the start since amanda was careless about where to put his key. also, he still won the trap which jigsaw knew. lawrence also failed his trap, but still got saved by jigsaw??? like wtf? sure adam tried to shoot jigsaw, but what did jigsaw rlly expect? how would he have reacted? honestly adam's death was the most unfair death in the saw franchise, he fr deserved to live but was bound to die from the start, but could still be saved. its also annoying cos theres a pattern of jigsaw saving ppl who survived their traps, like from the most recent saw x movie. sure gabriella died, but she was supposed to be brought to a hospital. so why was adam not saved? also, adam was a good guy. he was hired to take pictures of people, so what? thats what a private investigator is? is that rlly that bad to be put in a stupid rigged trap? adam deserves better
Haha, I'm laughing thinking about how he would construct a death trap for this degenerate who can't even spell "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"
I like imagining someone waking up, a victim of a real-life Jigsaw, trapped in one of these types of situations. "I'm fine! I just have to remember the advice of Nerd Explains!" *flashback* _"You're probably fucked!"_ "Welp."
In the flammable jelly thing scene, I think that from the viewer's perspective the room the guy was in was lit but from the victim's POV, the room was completely pitch black
Yes it was pitch black. For such a short scene with no official explanation my best guess is the same as in the videogame, that the ink for the right code a glow in dark.He not only had a candle provided but also a matchbox. Needed to blow the candle, look for the Code and then reignate the candle to enter the code. Granted that lighting the match killed him, but thats on him for not being extra careful
Why she did that had nothing to do with wanting to be the only apprentice. Her problem was that because she started to relapse and do things that showed she didn't 'cherish' her life she realised that people aren't worth saving. She was supposed to be the success story and she still ended up failing and not changing. With that conclusion in mind she just double down and thought if the success story can't change then nobody can change and no one deserves a chance hence why she made inescapable traps
Pretty much, unlike John Amanda's games are unwinnable, this was honestly one of the least fucked ways she's rigged games, especially as we see in a later Saw that he could technically break his foot and slide it out, no key required.
For me, I've always felt the best way to 'beat' a Jigsaw trap is to attempt to die as humanely and painlessly as possible because the alternatives fucking suck. But I think that's a matter of personal philosophy.
So if you're Adam: Drown yourself? If you're Gordon: Poison yourself with the cigarette? Zep: Had access to a gun, easy way out Amanda: Let the time run out Razorwire guy: I'm not sure I can think of painless way for this poor bastard. The fastest probably position himself over the wires so that both his wrists and neck can be cut deeply and swiftly, hopefully lose consciousness fast. Greased up guy: Use shards of glass and follow the previous method Something like this?
This whole Saw thing makes me sick. I don’t even know what I would do in that situation. 😬 Stupid yet somehow smart murderer makes this more of a psychological horror really. Even if some of the stuff is dumb.
@@mirandamanga9083 it’s definitely psychological horror, but not in the traditional sense. @@KawaiiFemBoi ; he would 210% be found guilty as hell for multiple counts of premeditated, cold-blooded, remorseless murder bruh. along with dozens of other charges. it literally does not matter if he put a gun to someone's head and pulled the trigger or if he rigged a gun to go off under certain circumstances, *he is the reason they died.* that is opportunity, motive and intent. and you can't argue either that "well the intent was for them to mutilate themselves to survive" because the secondary intent is still for them to die should they fail to meet your expectations. it is 100% the same thing.

Amanda was not just a drug addict. She was also a full-blown psychopath. Later movies, especially SAW III, clearly demonstrate this. I doubt she ever had any PTSD. She was getting off on killing helpless people under the pretense of helping Jigsaw.
@@schoolworkaccount3887 She could care less about Jigsaw fixing her. In the third movie, you can clearly see her ignoring Jigsaw's instructions and doing whatever she felt like. If she had followed Jigsaw's path, she would not shoot the doctor in the back, and would likely remain alive.
@@hungry_khid1007 in the fourth movie, it shows that jigsaw was a legitimate man running a rehabilitation clinic for addicts with his then pregnant wife. I 100% think if nerd explains, woke up in a bathroom with a “body” in the middle of the floor covered in “blood”; chained up with another - his first thought isn’t going to be. “Hey, maybe that body isn’t as it seems”
I have to make a correction: I don't think Zepp knew that Jigsaw was the body on the ground. This would explain why Zepp has a tape from Jigsaw with the distorted voice and everything. It suggests that he doesn't know his blackmailer's identity. My guess is the camera feed in the bathroom didn't go live until Jigsaw was already in position, so therefore Zepp didn't know about that element.
I think Amanda’s trap is easier than people who have to maim themselves. I guess it’s mentally hard to open up a guy to find the key, but she could have been in a lot worse position. She could have had to find it her own abdomen!
@satsumasaturn while I agree that does sound like one of her traps, remember John did have a key put behind someone's eye and expected them to remove said eye to retrieve it and unlock their trap. He totally could have made a trap where she had to dig around inside herself to find the key.
that would have been easier honestly youd just have to contort you core till you feel something pooking you under your skin then bite your teeth reach your hand in and grab it
Nerd Explains actually pointed out a goof in this movie. The scene with the man in the room with glass on floor covered in flammable jelly. He pointed out that he had shoes on but in other shots you can clearly see he is barefoot. Looks like the director forgot to hide the fact that his actor was wearing shoes to walk around in the scene.
Yes and no, you could refuse to play on the condition someone gets let go. Or you sabatoge a trap with your life so he has to fix it, usually if you impress saw he let's you go.
My main issue with the Saw movies is that the later movies try to paint Jigsaw as some kind of anti-hero who wants to teach people to love life. Because he wasn't. The very first movie solidifies that he's a psychopath who isn't afraid to get innocents killed to make a point. Sure, the wife in the brazen bull in Saw 7 was perhaps the most tragic example of Jigsaw hurting innocents to hurt the person being tested, but it all started with Lawrence's family almost getting shot due to Lawrence's sins. How Lawrence became Jigsaw's apprentice is beyond me. Here's a guy who just forced you to cut off your own foot and--to your knowledge at the time--had your family murdered. Sure, let's become his apprentice. There's still that other victim you left behind, but fuck him. Jigsaw had you cripple yourself for life while making you believe that your family was just brutally murdered. That's the kind of experience that makes people love life, right?
“Judge I didn’t kill him. I just smothered his body in highly flammable gasoline and made him look for a key to a safe that had the antidote for the poison I injected him with. Oh, and I put broken glass on the floor.” Judge:🙄 “Guilty!” 🔨
Please do the rest of the traps in the series. I’m interested in hearing how different people believe it should be done and your research and style definitely intrigues me.
For a dead man, his pants are very clean. That alone should have alerted someone who still realizes in a panic situation that a clock on a wall looks newer than anything else.
That's the thing, Jigsaw never mentioned Adam would be freed if he survived the ordeal. He didn't even have a winning condition in this game. Even if he sawed himself the door would still be closed and he would bleed out. He was in the most unfair trap ever
As someone who was hired to move a safe about that size at 18:50 I can tell you old iron safes like that are more heavy than sin and you’d have to be a world class power lifter to even barely carry it once by yourself much less throw it against a brick wall repeatedly but true there is no harm in trying in that guys case
My friend and I were cleaning his uncles house after he died and he had one of those kinds of safes, it really wasnt that heavy and when we opened it he had a bunch of knives and tools in it. It must have just been the one you picked up or Im ridiculously strong
When Im stuck in a building, I dont want to be with Nerd Explains. He'll probably sacrifice me in the most horrific way possible for him so survive. *shivers*
nah, as long as you are rational and don't act as horror film main characters making dumb decisions, he won't kill ya. Unless he is told to kill you to save himself, ofc.
Another note on the body suspicion: When the body dies, the intestines void everything in them as the muscles relax, same for the bladder. In essence, minutes after you die you poop and pee yourself, even if you didn't feel like you could before expiring. No dumped pants should be weird, even for a specialist surgeon as there's a chance a patient would die during any operations he worked on before being kidnapped.
The cassette breaking comment made me do that wheezy laugh through my nose. Like, I imagined Jigsaw groaning as he raised up then going into a little toddler tantrum. “You guys ruined my gaaaame!! >:(((“ like a really immature and controlling dungeon master.
There are a lot of ways to beat many of these traps. I worked with razor wire, also known as Concertina wire. You can lift entire rolls of the stuff with bare hands if you do it right. Grip tightly so it doesn't slip. Razors and knives can cut from straight pressure, but their true sharpness is from slicing. Don't drag them across your skin and you are fine. If you are covered in a flamable gel, and you have literally any flat or thin item (like a room filled with broken glass) you can scrape that shit off. Again, edges don't cut if they are not used to slice or chop, drag them sideways and the gel would come right off. For the double-throat drilling, drill bits are incredible brittle, you can easily just snap them off by striking sideways with literally anything, like your shoe or the pistol.
We need a coraline one, more of a childish movies HOWEVER, there’a lots of room for possibilities, and the main character is actually pretty smart considering she’s 11

You’re definitely my favorite “How to beat/survive” content creator. Makes my days at work go by faster and gives me stuff to think about. Otherwise my day is slow, tedious, and a lot of “How tf did you mess this up?”
I really feel like with enough patience, they could've sawed through either the chains or the pipes (which would've been even easier considering they're so rotten and rusted) that the chains were tied to. Even trying to find a means of sharpening the blunt blades using something in the bathroom would've helped. I mean, Adam's saw only breaks because of the speed and the force with which he's sawing. If he had instead had some patience and slowly sawed into the chain with longer strokes of the blade, it might've helped. I really never understood why the film was called Saw and there was so little attention paid to how these characters tried to utilize that tool... I mean, they had so much time!
That wouldn't really work. Have you ever seen a hacksaw blade?? It's not like a knife that can me sharpened, it's heaps of crisscrossing teeth so there's no chance in that, and then jigsaw would have just electricuted them for trying anyway.
@@maxbracegirdle9990 Regardless, they still could've tried being patient and using long, slow strokes on the chains to wear it down. I don't think Jigsaw would've buzzed them for trying to cut through the chains because I don't think Jigsaw would've anticipated them succeeding in doing that to begin with. On top of that, the game is still being played fairly if they manage to break out of their chains unlike how Adam pretended to be dead and got shocked.
@@martincurran4985 It doesn't matter if he anticipated it or not, he's in the room with you, he's going to notice you sawing through chain for what would be like 3-4 hours, if not more. And that's if you manage to do it without breaking the blade with a misaligned push or pull. Plus those chains are probably whats connecting them to the circuit to be electricuted in the first place, so I doubt he's gonna be happy with you cutting it up
The pipes were not real(in the sense you cant tell What theyre supposed to be). Id assume theyre meant to be gas pipes, so they would be pretty thick, and even with a fresh new blade, chances are very small you could saw all the way Through that pipe.
I want a UA-cam series of a defense lawyer desperately trying to put together a defense argument for Jigsaw and his BS motives and the 'I'm not a murderer' argument.

@@umihebi9148 he unlawfully kidnapped people and put them in dangerous situations where they will most likely die and nearly always do. Plus in the first saw movie he literally leaves Adam to die aka murder.
I like the differences in focus between this channel and HitStart; HitStart focuses purely on outside-the-box physical methods of escaping danger that the characters didn't think of, and it feels like Nerd Explains focuses more on the psychological aspect and how characters could win while still playing "by the rules". It's why HitStart couldn't possibly make a video on Circle.
True, it's nice that they have different methods and different thinking. It makes our experience as viewers much better! And also Circle was probably one of my favorite Nerd Explains breakdowns so far so nice shootout there!
I have a hypothesis about the drugged man whose stomach was disemboweled. What if he failed a previous test, but instead of a gory end, it was a chemical one, like “Solve this puzzle before your limbs go limp and paralysis takes over completely.” Idk, but it beats “he’s just unlucky.” 😂
Rewatched this movie literally last week and the acting was hilarious. Lawrence’s actor was switching between types of voices like he didn’t know which type of voice he should do for the character. He switches moods so fast it looks whacky

Alright then, I'll try not to rob anyone, try to kill myself, do drugs, sell motorcycles, have affairs, know people who have lied, kill babies, take pictures of people, rape/murder people, switch doctor stuff, arrest innocent people, be a family member of a criminal, have been in prison, take a day off work, try to break into a store but accidentally kill a murderer's unborn child, work as a janitor, etc. (Let me know which ones I've missed lmao 😂😂)

or use the same thing they used in the bathroom to take the gun out of the murdered dudes hand and shoot jigsaw, then the guy behind the mirror would see that and let everyone go and jigsaw would be dead
@Chandler Burse I mean debating people like Jigsaw, who are mentally deranged enough to do this shit, isn't exactly gonna end up well. He's so far in his own head with his philosophy it'll eventually boil down too "You just can't understand it like I do, you never will. That's why I'm right and you're wrong" and then he'd shoot you in the head. Jigsaw _seems_ rational but only because he's a genuinely intelligent sociopath with a god-complex that nicely compliments his, even if not explicitly stated, narcissism since his whole thing is "My way is the correct way, and that way is bodily harming and mentally scarring you until you realize you repent and learn to appreciate life and the people in it" with anything less being a literal death sentence.
*I like how literally the only two characters that should be dead....* are the only two characters to survive in this film. _Probably speaks to how unrealistic these movies are._
It was facing the right way. Point a gun symbol to your head then aim it straight in the air and turn your wrist. To be fair if you shoot yourself in the head the gun will probably fall out of your grip.
@@CatIsMad The arms will be flat on your side as well, when u shoot your brain there is no momentum or anything that will hold your arms above ur head when u fall. You basically shut down and fall like a doll. The only way Jigsaw's body could have been in that position is if someone shoot him from behind while he was standing. And still the arms would be flat on the side.
I know this video has been out for a long time, but I'm 99.9% sure the opening scene of the setup is a retcon (or maybe it's not even in the movie and Nerd Explains included it for context?) I remember watching this movie when it came out, and John being Jigsaw was a huge "twist". Quotes because I actually called it like 15 minutes into the movie when I realized the body looked like the patient. I don't think it was actually revealed that Amanda was working with him until the end of the second movie, as she's a "victim" in that one as well and there wouldn't be much tension if we knew she was a plant.
An even easier way to ensure the key comes out of the dude's stomach is to make him sick. Don't explain, just roll him so he doesn't aspirate the key, and ram your hand down his throat. He'll gag and hurl up the key. Quicker than trying to dig through him, especially as it's easier to find a key in a chunky puddle than it is to find it in a struggling bag of sick with blood and visceral tissue also getting in the way.
@@maxbracegirdle9990 Well, you're wrong there; they can. Especially if enough force is applied to the stomach. She could also kick him to double-check, whereupon he'd respond (which you'd do anyway if you have any reason to suspect a hidden trap or trigger, and you'd definitely suspect that given the current circumstances).
People say Jigsaw was unhinged in the new Saw X movie but this dude was literally killing people for calling in sick from work. That doesnt even scratch the surface of "Not appreciating his life" what a joke of a villain
The room was also darker than it displayed in the movie, I believe. I’m pretty sure it was actually pitch-black but was just lightened for the viewers to see. He absolutely did need the candle.
The thing that confuses me is that those saws are very clearly metal saws, and even the shittiest of metal saws will make it through a piece of pipe that big in less than an hour if you hustle and even if one breaks the other saw could be used or the fragments of blade. So the whole “can’t cut through the pipes” thing is just plain wrong.
I think its supposed to be a gas line, so actually thick, and the likelihood of them sawing that through twice even with a new blade is very slim. And by twice i mean, since its a huge metal pipe, it wont bend if you just saw through in one place. Youd need to saw off another fragment.
You just made my childhood to a better place. 😇 I had nightmares about that movie back then, but now looking at the movie from that perspective, and see the fallacies of that, its not that frightening anymore. Keep it up! ✊
Lawrence could also see that the suicide victim’s / jigsaw’s gun was empty, since it’s a revolver after shooting himself, shell would still remain inside revolver. There is no logical scenario where there is no shell inside gun. After seeing that gun was empty, he could smell jigsaws hand, if he would shoot this revolver, it would probably smell like gunpowder or oil for guns. I know he was stressed and all after sawing his foot off, but I’m just pointing out
You know we talk about how Jigsaw would never kill innocent people until Saw 3D but he was willingly to get Zepp to kill Gordon’s INNOCENT family if Gordon didn’t escape in time. Jigsaw was killing innocent people since the very beginning
16:57 bold of you to assume Jigsaw actually believes in mental health considering he kills people (sorry, lawfully puts them in dangerous situations where they kill themselves) because of what is often a sign of mental illness (drug addiction, self harm etc.)

The whole "Jigsaw isn't actually a murderer" thing made literally no sense
Like, if you stab someone but leave a phone somewhere in the room for them to find and call and ambulance, you're still a murderer if they die
A better way to put it would be that Jigsaw doesn't actively kill his victims (like shoot them) but rather passively, by putting them into death traps that are supposed to kill them (unless they escape, which is supposed to be possible).
It's still murder, just an indirect form of murder

It's implied that Amanda put the key in a shit position against John's wishes cause she wanted to be the only survivor/apprentice
Why she did that had nothing to do with wanting to be the only apprentice.
Her problem was that because she started to relapse and do things that showed she didn't
'cherish' her life she realised that people aren't worth saving.

When the body dies, the intestines void everything in them as the muscles relax, same for the bladder. In essence, minutes after you die you poop and pee yourself, even if you didn't feel like you could before expiring. You-you meani

25:13 just to note, the glass was not originally on the ground when the game started. There was only pieces of the mirror on the ground after Adam threw his broken saw at the mirror and broke part of it off.

Lmao I swear everyone is making a “how to beat” type video recently and I love it
Yes
You’re definitely my favorite “How to beat/survive” content creator. Makes my days at work go by faster and gives me stuff to think about. Otherwise my day is slow, tedious, and a lot of “How tf did you mess this up?”

As long as you all want to see them I'm happy to drop my .02 cents.. Lol.
@@NerdExplains I'm happy to watch all the Saw videos I can. Love the franchise.
Good explanation, but none of that matters. The writers wrote what they wanted to happen and what happened is that the saws are for human bones.
I've been waiting for this fight between Nerd Explains and Jigsaw.
I want a UA-cam series of a defense lawyer desperately trying to put together a defense argument for Jigsaw and his BS motives and the 'I'm not a murderer' argument.
The key in the bath tub is explained later when John tells Amanda how she made her games unwindable. If I remember correctly Adam was originally supposed to be able to get the key but I’m not sure.
He was Dead meat explained it
Amanda rigged all her games. She is quite literally a murderer. Jigsaw hates murderers.
@@umihebi9148 jigsaw is a murderer
@@Apd174 No. He's a rehabilitator. People just panic and get themselves killed.
@@umihebi9148 he unlawfully kidnapped people and put them in dangerous situations where they will most likely die and nearly always do. Plus in the first saw movie he literally leaves Adam to die aka murder.
Person: is slightly flawed.
Jigsaw: "I want to play a game."
Antón Castillo: "The grenade is simple."
What if he failed a previous test, but instead of a gory end, it was a chemical one, like “Solve this puzzle before your limbs go limp and paralysis takes over completely.”
Idk, but it beats “he’s just unlucky.” 😂

Rewatched this movie literally last week and the acting was hilarious. Lawrence’s actor was switching between types of voices like he didn’t know which type of voice he should do for the character. He switches moods so fast it looks whacky
I watched this in the theatre. The audience reaction was incredible when Jigsaw stands up to reveal he was alive.
Same!!!
The key to surviving these is to respect the value of life so that John Kramer doesn’t come after you.
WHAT VALUE???
He's so picky though, like you can't have a bad day in case he catches you on it and is like, "Welp, looks like this chick wants to play a game.." Like I'm allowed to have a month long depression spell without worrying gonna be judged by someone other than my cat!! Lol
Or commit toster bath first
Alright then, I'll try not to rob anyone, try to kill myself, do drugs, sell motorcycles, have affairs, know people who have lied, kill babies, take pictures of people, rape/murder people, switch doctor stuff, arrest innocent people, be a family member of a criminal, have been in prison, take a day off work, try to break into a store but accidentally kill a murderer's unborn child, work as a janitor, etc. (Let me know which ones I've missed lmao 😂😂)

I hope you are having a better day/night/time now!
Imagine Adam just throws a toilet lid at a sleeping John
Here's how to beat Jigsaw: Clean your room, put your life in order, always be truthful and aim to realize your potential.
Or just move to a city he isn’t in and keep being slightly less than perfect
or use the same thing they used in the bathroom to take the gun out of the murdered dudes hand and shoot jigsaw, then the guy behind the mirror would see that and let everyone go and jigsaw would be dead
And don’t work with anyone that didn’t do this, and remember to tie your shoes, also don’t eat an apple on Tuesday... I swear jigsaw is so petty
“Hello, Baktor you wasted your life fearing me, how much of your life is worth your fear.”
*I like how literally the only two characters that should be dead....*

Arent the 2 guys dead?
@@leechelle8446 Laurence dies from the ice block trap (later in the series), Adam starved I'm pretty sure.
@@alextheferret5674 Adam is suffocated by Amanda, Laurence becomes jigsaws apprentice and is never killed.
I love how he's pretending to be a suicide victim, yet the gun is facing away from him with his arm outstretched. 🤔
It was facing the right way. Point a gun symbol to your head then aim it straight in the air and turn your wrist.
To be fair if you shoot yourself in the head the gun will probably fall out of your grip.
Some darn strong recoil...
I know this video has been out for a long time, but I'm 99.9% sure the opening scene of the setup is a retcon (or maybe it's not even in the movie and Nerd Explains included it for context?)
I remember watching this movie when it came out, and John being Jigsaw was a huge "twist".
But she was told he was dead, and looked and acted like it. Dead people don't throw up...
Who stabs a guy with a scalpel? Wouldn't that damage, if not completely break the blade?

People say Jigsaw was unhinged in the new Saw X movie but this dude was literally killing people for calling in sick from work. That doesnt even scratch the surface of "Not appreciating his life" what a joke of a villain

The room was also darker than it displayed in the movie, I believe. I’m pretty sure it was actually pitch-black but was just lightened for the viewers to see. He absolutely did need the candle.
When Jigsaw talks in the mirror that the game begins, it's also one towards Amanda as their game also begins
I had nightmares about that movie back then, but now looking at the movie from that perspective, and see the fallacies of that, its not that frightening anymore.
Keep it up! ✊
I think our protagonists are at a research disadvantage. They never Saw any of this coming.
Nice one there🤩
Lawrence could also see that the suicide victim’s / jigsaw’s gun was empty, since it’s a revolver after shooting himself, shell would still remain inside revolver. There is no logical scenario where there is no shell inside gun. After seeing that gun was empty, he could smell jigsaws hand, if he would shoot this revolver, it would probably smell like gunpowder or oil for guns. I know he was stressed and all after sawing his foot off, but I’m just pointing out
I can never get over the heart-shit smeared on the wall. It's literally stupid hilarious.
You know we talk about how Jigsaw would never kill innocent people until Saw 3D but he was willingly to get Zepp to kill Gordon’s INNOCENT family if Gordon didn’t escape in time. Jigsaw was killing innocent people since the very beginning
I think the entire bear trap scene is Amanda killing the drug induced man holding the key to giving up on drugs
16:57 bold of you to assume Jigsaw actually believes in mental health considering he kills people (sorry, lawfully puts them in dangerous situations where they kill themselves) because of what is often a sign of mental illness (drug addiction, self harm etc.)
is it just me, or in the first edition of the first saw movie you don't see the montage in the beginning of saw and his assistant setting up the trap? It made the ending much better!
You definitely don't, I think that clip was from a sequel/prequel
