Funny enough the first short got a sequel movie. Clint survived the short and got a mate, and she's actually a succubus. For the third one. Every person the "Glitch" kills turns into another "Glitch," which means when the thing killed her first set of friends, it made 4 new "Glitches" and when it killed her back up friends, it made 3 more "Glitches" so even though she killed the first one, she had 7 more "Glitch" killers to deal with.
seriously!!! I watch a lot of horror often at night just on my laptop chilling in the dark. these films actuality had me finger watch a couple times! inexplicably good stuff!!
It's also probably because that's the time frame it can endure before it gets boring or washed out. I'd argue it's way easier to make a creepy short film than maintain the tension for the length of a full movie.
The succubus was probably the easiest to deal with, assuming that you didn't try to attack her. Most of the people she hurt deserved it, and she wasn't going after random civilians, so surviving her is just a matter of not presenting a threat. If she likes you, you just have a creepy and super-clingy demonic superfan (and there is no reason to assume that she hurt the main character in the end--she just carried him off). Also, check out The Axiom for a strange movie filled with stupid people who blunder into bubbles of alternate reality (it's like the final story in this video, on meth).

There's a funny alternate ending to the last one where they manage to get out of the car before the train hits them and then they all just walk off laughing about what a crazy night they had.

Lilith, the succubus, is the easiest one to beat. Leave her be and if you’re the one she likes, then you’ve basically got a supernatural dom gf. According to the movie about her, she mates for life and it’ll be the best sex you’ve ever had.

One thing I love about wearing a wedding ring is that it makes punching out a window very easy. I've had to do it before to get my baby nephew out of a locked car on a 95° day. He's with much better parents now, btw.

I don't think they forgot to lock the doors at the last VHS. I think the demon actually unlocked the door and luckily, those people went in to set it free. Like luck was on the demon's side

I watched an unmarked VHS tape when I was 5 years old in the 90s. It ended up being one of the original black and white Godzilla movies, and I thought it was real footage... Scared the hell out of me, but it could have worse.
In the last one, what was their plan anyways? If you leave, run to the neighbors, and call the police, then you can go in with back up if you plan to go back anyways but just going back is a fatal mistake. You only need one person to do so too. That said a lot of these could have been alleviated a little by calling for help before/not doing something dumb so… Great video, thanks for the efforts! I would love to see more.

He probably knew they’d be stupid enough to watch the VHS tapes, trying to figure out the “right” one that was requested, rather than stealing all of them to then figure out later or just give them all to the stranger. He probably also knew they were dumb enough not to just kill him in his sleep, assuming he was both actually sleeping and even mortal. I also like to think that the VHS recordings aren’t actually real, but are a sort of personal hell for the victim of it, and the old man is simply the Devil. In this hypothetical case, those burglars will now exist in their own hellish VHS tapes. That one doesn’t exactly have any evidence, but it’s a fun thought. My own head-canon, if you will.

I liked this one. It felt like a multipost bonus. Too many, though, and I feel like I will be spoiled for single "story" posts and want too many. My favorite part of Nerd videos is how hard he insults the characters. Second favorite is the list of basic defense tools that can be used in multiple situations. I wouldn't mind more of these types of multi-story videos, but I think they would need to be sparse with plenty of time between.

V/H/S is honestly one of the spookier horror movies in concept. There aren't just ghosts. There's also demons, succubi, sapient evil houses, witches, and weird invisible glitch killers, and that's just the stuff we see.

In reference to 41:10, if you're trying to break a car window to escape DO NOT hit it in the center. That's where it can flex the most and resist the force of impact. Instead try to hit one of the bottom corners where it's pinched and has to take the whole impact at once

I wish anthology was more popular. Although, it is kinda fun to discuss both the hits and the misses with friends after each installment. I like hearing everyone's favorite and what they loved about it, especially if I disliked that segment. It helps me to see certain film segments through different eyes and appreciate angles I hadn't considered. ...or if everyone loves/hates a segment, it's great to praise/trash the one in question as a group.

I enjoy the VHS series. Hits and misses but love anthology stuff. Should consider The Cabinet of Curiosities
I wish anthology was more popular. Although, it is kinda fun to discuss both the hits and the misses with friends after each installment. I like hearing everyone's favorite and what they loved about it, especially if I disliked that segment. It helps me to see certain film segments through different eyes and appreciate angles I hadn't considered.
...or if everyone loves/hates a segment, it's great to praise/trash the one in question as a group.

Okayy, I know it would take a while!!! But I think you should cover abcs of death, and I know it's a long shot but that's some good content. Multiple how to beat scenarios in short spurts and we all would love to see how you'd handle some of them! Also, great episode! I hope you cover the rest of these! Keep up the amazing work!!!

I think I'm in the minority who hasn't watched vhs from what I can tell. And I genuinely thought you were going to list off like 10 more scenarios and that none of them happened in this movie. Until I watched the full video 😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️💀💀
Now I feel compelled to actually watch the entire movie and see if it's as good as your "how to beat" video is (which tbh your reviews are pretty much always better than the movie they're about)

The Siren is my absolute favorite story in all of the movies. I think she's hot in both forms. And seems genuine in her likes for the nerd.
