In-game soundtracks are always better. I don’t know why Bungie is not doing anything about this.
Bungie like “4 minutes of this soundtrack is enaugh.”.
Mostly because you are hearing a dynamic mix of the song used in the gameplay. The official OST release is everything mixed together in the way it was written originally. The dynamic mixing can however make songs stand out far more, which is especially true for this one.

Most of the soundtrack has certain key elements taken out so it entices you to play the game. These elements consist of full orchestra moments or dps phases. One tram to look at would be Oneirophobia. The holy dps phase was taken out so when you heard it in game, it was a great surprise and a key element to the fight. The pay off so to speak.
my assumption is, gamerips/edits like this are the actual composition. they cut it up and mix it for gameplay, and then make an official release from that. but yeah, even at that it makes no sense. who knows man

Bungie heard this version and decided to give us the crappier version in the soundtrack
How the fuck can Bungie messed up so bad this year? First was the campaign, now the in-game OST? What has gone into them?

One of the highlights of lightfalls campaign for me was tearing through cabal as a strand titan to this absolute fatty of a tune as we defended rohan

Sérieux, la trame sonore de ce jeux est l'une des meilleures que j'ai entendu, digne du seigneur des anneaux !!!! Je joue depuis la guerre rouge!!!! Une des raisons pourquoi je joue encore depuis tous ce temps!!! Et celle-ci tombe dans mon top 5 des meilleurs musiques du jeu ❤❤❤
