I like how the entrance theme was a remixed Shadow Thief, and then the raid hits you during Nuclear Descent with the full one with Darkness motif cutting in every phase of the encounter.
I not only enjoy these because they're bangers, but if you think about the stories and lore behind each one, it genuinely is more fun and interesting than shooting hive gods with flaming pistols
BL got me back into Destiny for good after I spent time drifting in and out of it since Curse of Osiris, and for nearly all of Season of the Hunt I just did Crucible, then I decided to do Harbinger and quickly realized this is one of the first times I should actually LFG which I was nervous to do previously bc I used to be a squeaker. So I LFGd, got Hawkmoon, and the emblem, and the world of LFG suddenly opened up to me. I wanted to start raiding right away. I watched videos on the encounters and I did all the weapon prepping I could before getting the courage to join a sherpa run for Deep Stone. It was around when Splicer started that I did my first Deep Stone run, and it was amazing, although we didn't finish it bc the sherpa had to leave. The first run I actually completed no-one actually knew what they were doing except me, so I taught them when they needed it, and that put so much research to work. I couldn't believe I had missed out on raiding for so long, all bc I was afraid of being bad or a squeaker. This raid means so much to me, it opened everything up to me, I've done things I didn't think I could achieve. I started doing sherpa runs after getting comfortable with all the raids at the time, a couple I still don't want to teach but that's fine, one day I will. I apologize for dumping a story here, I just really love this raid and its music and what it's done for me
Bro this is really emotional. I love the raid so much too. Love it with all of it’s lores, musics and gameplay. I am happy to hear this story, the raid means much for me too.
Maybe we had bad ideas about the game or Bungie but it all ends same. We all love this game and this amazing community. Hearing what Bungie always does. With an incredible soundtrack. Not only a soundtrack. With the work of everybody in this.
Same here. Actually if you look to the big picture, beyond light’s soundtracks are best in my opinin. Of course at general. there are perfect ones in every expansion. Beyond light’s lores and musics were created by a different size of work from the other expansions.
personally my favorite is crypt security, it’s intensity just increases from the start. And the first few notes create massive nostalgia, especially because of how many times I’ve failed the first encounter (I’ve never got past it 😅)
I've been imagining a Destiny movie based on a Guardian that due to some crap happening to them, they turn to the darkness. Tbh the original plot I had for that was so unoriginal, plus I think it went against the lore too-
I agree, though I did love Witch Queen, it’s just something about Beyond Light that struck so hard for me. Maybe the jump to next generation, maybe location, or maybe the new darkness power that truly felt incredible at the time. Stasis was so good and I’m upset that it’s a shell of its former self now because of Strand.
Idk, I kinda felt like Beyond Light was just mediocre. It introduced a lot of really cool stuff, but idk, it just didn't reach the high of Forsaken for me. Nothing really has except Final Shape which I have really enjoyed.@@deathdealerx7505
Atraks 1 might be 2nd to riven you know.. i don't know why they didnt include that prelude when you're actually doing the raid. This raid as a whole is "beyond" a masterpiece. So glad i got to experience the best experience in a game when it was still fresh and people didn't know about 4 ball taniks 😂. Welcome home, Guardians
the deep stone crypt. the sheer amount of pain clovis made his test subject endure. breaking their minds and bodies. to me this ost is bliss in madness. cringe i know.
both fit better for the location they play listening to athanasia almost feels like you can feel the snow slowly falling in your face and deep stone lullaby fits perfect when you see the space like despite all bloodshed going on there is still a beauty worthy fighting for
That transition between Athanasia and Crypt Security is so GOOOD.
Came here to say this
Objectively right
“Eramis found it, the Deep stone crypt...” man I love this OST 🥰🥰
Yeah bro it is really good!
Nostalgia doesn't exist before beyond light.
you surely correct bro!
It does now!

I like how the entrance theme was a remixed Shadow Thief, and then the raid hits you during Nuclear Descent with the full one with Darkness motif cutting in every phase of the encounter.
This soundtrack reminds me the full story of the raid and beyond light
me too bro :)
That orchestra effort for just a game? Awesome 👏
Bungie do like they're orchestra
dude this is still my favorite raid to this day
Agree.
Best raid in D2, idc what anyone says
second to last wish😌
@@eleusinia_I hate last wish, but Rivens Theme is just 😮💨👌
I am gonna listen this all day night 😂
Doing it right now 😂
thats why we love destiny...
Yeah man those guys on Bungie is really doin great about game’s lores and musics.
yeah the big fact that we love this game cause of it's stories and ost's they are perfect
@@thewhisper4234 surely bro 👍

And yet the Hive Gods have more lore than this.

Destiny 2’s soundtracks are better than every song or ost!
Also stories of course!
I’m agree with you bro 👍
the best ost of all time!
Huh. You can hear Taniks' motif even at the start. Bit of foreshadowing.
its not my fav raid but goddamn the atmosphere and music is by far the best
Crypt security has no reason to be such a banger for just the first major encounter.
this should be on spotify or somethin like that
ıt can be awesome!
Crypt security is the best song in the raid in my opinion.
Totally agree! I wish i see more comments like this
2nd n 3rd encounter songs were better you can feel the intensity of the 3rd encounter in chaos mode
Man beyond light was when i switched from d1 to d2 so this brings back all the memories
2 year old raid and i still love this music
Deep stone is my favorite raid to teach
This brings up so much emotion, I'm sitting here tearing up. I am so proud to be a part of this game, and this community.
Maybe we had bad ideas about the game or Bungie but it all ends same. We all love this game and this amazing community. Hearing what Bungie always does. With an incredible soundtrack. Not only a soundtrack. With the work of everybody in this.
Deep Stone lullaby kinda reminds me of Nighttime Valek mountain from Xenoblade Chroniclas
F for eramis who is still chilling after almost 2 years
F 😂
F
Think again
Who would have tough...
Hmmm...
F for Clovis Bray who is still chilling on his bunker...
Lets see what hapoens now.
Lol xD
Anastasia is my favorite song from beyond light

Me too. You can feel the snow and wind while the track goes on.
personally my favorite is crypt security, it’s intensity just increases from the start. And the first few notes create massive nostalgia, especially because of how many times I’ve failed the first encounter (I’ve never got past it 😅)
The 3rd encounter with the music and in chaos mode where everyone had to pick a role is something to see n feel
Favorite raid of all time hands down.
Same here. I love the raid with all of it’s lores, soundtracks and gameplay.
Enjoying yourselves intruders
How could we not be with Deep Stone Lullaby playing?

Great all time
the only reason I came back here often is that transition 5:48
Little but amazing detail of the soundtrack.
Bungie must create movies from their stories especially beyond light and forsaken
It will be awsome!

love this ost because it's about as long as the raid should take
Imo, I think DSC is the best raid ost. Second is last wish. Third is king's fall.
I heard he was fired. I'm sorry. It's been 4 years since I quit D2, but his musics are still good.
My unpopular opinion is that beyond light was peak D2, nothing will top the fun I had during beyond light

Лучший рейд за всё время ❤
Best raid ever 😢
One of the best raids that ended up having little to no significance outside lore books.
Back here after they laid off the guy who made this music. D2 won’t be the same.

"Descent escape" isnt from dsc. Its the eramis final fight in the campaign
But you still escape the descent.

Not lightfall not witch queen… Forsaken and Beyond Light are the best ones.
Actually agreed.
Lightfall was a disaster
Descent is the best Part in this raid i always say to my Team i dont hear you music is too loud
