Quick tip: before you kill the dragon at Fort Faroth, go behind the “The First Step” grace down onto the beach below, and on the far side there will be a body where you can pick up a Gold fowl foot. Couple hits before the dragon dies pop that thang and you’ll get a bunch more runes !
Also if you want to abuse if you are fast enough you can run and sit down at the grave while the dragon is in the death animation. You will receive the rune and the dragon will respawn allowing you to kill her once again. Can be done infinitely but you need a good timing
@@fulvio3211 thank you for this! Something I didn't know, was able to reset it twice so far, 100k runes in just a few minutes is super OP. Was able to get over 10 levels with this method.
Also, if u dont mind putting a few points into faith/arcane… a minimum of 10 arcane and 15 faith can give you two incantations that when combined are amazing… flame grant me strength, and bloodflame blade… use that combo on top of all of this… i cant help but to get those two on EVERY build
You don't need to do the death root quest to access the portal btw. Also, I'd recommend getting the gold pickled fowl foot on the beach near the first step (west coast of Limgrave) and another on the overlook right after you cross the bridge to the east side agheel lake. Use the first just before finishing off Greyoll to get nearly 100,000 runes. Once you have those allocated, go into fort faroth to grab the dectus medallion and radagon's soreseal. It's an incredible talisman early game and the damage increase is offset by the increased HP as long as your base vigor is higher than 25 and below 40. Once you get to 40 vigor, it starts to become a liability, especially midgame and beyond when enemies hit like a truck. For the second pickled fowl foot, you use this when cheesing the night's cavalry on the dragonbarrow bridge. Spawn at the tower at night, run to the other end of the bridge with the cavalry chasing you, once you make it off the bridge, quickly cut left and do a u-turn, running up the root that comes up and grows over the bridge. The cavalry will get stuck under, and with a little finagling, it will eventually fall off the cliff. As you see it start to fall, quickly use the fowl foot and you get another 54,000 runes + Bloodhound's Step! Finally, I'd also recommend getting the flame of the red manes ash of war from the scarab in the southwest of Caelid. it's not the best ash ever since it was nerfed, but it gives you the fire infusion before getting the red whetblade, and fire does a good chunk more damage than heavy. definitely worth the trade off when using the greatsword. It has a good enough moveset already and you'll mostly be going for jumping heavies to stun your enemies anyway. Boost that vigor, get that strength to 21 so you can two-hand and it's GG
Solid points here! Thanks for looking out dude. I tried to keep the route as short as possible but I’ll add the golden foul foot into the faith build I’m doing ☺️
if you run back to the site of grace at greyoll right after killing her she will respawn and you get the runes. Look for the tail twitch to indicate when to run back
thanks! took me an hour to do all of it. also, if you haven't talked with D at roundtable, he will be near that village with Mariner. talk with him, kill the Mariner, talk with him again in that village and he will tell you about the portal
Hell yeah dope build brother! The gugs greatsword is def one of the best strength weapons and it’s so fun to use. Im doing a strength build on my second playthrough rn and a couple other early weapons i enjoy aswell are the executioner greataxe which you get in a graveyard close to the church after stormveil castle, throw on war cry or barbaric roar along with the roar medallion, those charged R2s are beefy! The claymore is my favorite greatsword with an amazing R2, perfect on a strength build if you need something faster then the colossal. The Lance is another early weapon I really enjoy for the range and jumping attacks, throw on the claw and spear talisman for Max counter dmg. Lastly I’d say the knightrider glaive you get from the knights cavalry later in liurnia is a must have for any str build, S scaling and a great moveset. Great video brother, keep up the good work💯
Yo rock on man! I need to try that weapon out. Out of all the weapons in Elden Ring some how I missed trying out that one even though I have it haha. Thanks for the tips this was super helpful!
@@pastorgainzgames which weapon are you talking about specifically? No problem tho bro! I’ve been having a lot of fun invading on this low lvl str build and those have been my personal favorites! It’s a lot harder in PvP but that’s what makes it so much fun. Another really fun charged attack weapon is the moon crescent axe, it has a huge sweeping radius with its R2 and i throw on flaming strike to make it even better.
Coming back to Elden Ring bcs of the DLC, your videos have helped me out a lot! Any chance you could complete this builds? Like after mid game or what you should shoot for end game/new game?
I appreciate you taking the time to put this together. Your pathing is OK but there are a number of improvements you could incorporate. You bounce around a lot and can be collecting stones, seeds, runes and so on as you go. But the fun is in figuring it out yourself! But one thing that others have mentioned is to just go use the teleport right away. It is always active. Another is that there are easy gold pickle feet you can get to make sure you earn over 90000 runes.. so many other things. Wish I was not disabled and could make a video myself! This is such a great game.
A few things here. Thank you for the comment first of all, secondly I always thought (after 2k hours) that D had to open up the portal for you? or does he just show it on you map. Third, I totally spaced on the gold pickled foul foot. gotta snag that in the Next vid when I do a faith run.
I'm stuck in a never ending loop with that damned BOSS because I was told "At this point you can head into storm vielle castle and fight Margit" 😢 I indeed could not go into that castle to fight Margit. I was not ready even after following this guide.
Assuming this is your first time playing the game. I can only offer this advice. As someone who died to Melania well over 100 times (while watching every "how to beat Melania" video in existence) before victory....do not let this game get the better of you. Stick with the progress you have, but find a beginners playthrough guide and follow that for a bit. IF you have trouble beating a boss, or an area, move on and level up, or, go back when you're ready too. I've had several build guides that completely worked for me, and others, that have not even come close to being successful for me. In the end, its just a game. Enjoy it for what it is, an incredible challenge. Just don't get frustrated, I was in that same spot you were once. Now I'm on my 3rd playthrough creating a new character for the DLC.
@neogenesis0038 great advise... adding on, an early farm spot is by the Farum great bridge. Those little guys roaming the fields do a ton of damage but get staggered instantly, so you can quickly kill them before they attack for 1k runea each. Do that for a while till you have enough vigor to go on.
My current build after following this build Weapon Powerstance: Lion Claw Summon: mimic tear Incantations: Fire, Grant me strength and blood flame :Level 130

Okay so I'm very very new to this game and wanted a strength tanky build but when mixing those crystals it's says temporarily so is it only usable once??
Honestly for strength builds, I’d say vagabond is better for min maxing in my opinion, you have more dex to start which you need at least 12 for most of the big STR weapons and you don’t have the 11 points in ARC so you can dump up to 15 into faith to use FGMS and some bestial incants. I’d say vagabond is more rounded for this build. But I love the build you put together. 👍
Hmmm this is a good point. However, I would argue that considering this build only takes an hour to put together and you have the entire rest of the game to figure out what you wanna do. It doesn’t matter in the long run, but it doesn’t mean you’re wrong at all about the vagabond😎
@@pastorgainzgames bonus tip from me to improve more timing the castle at the dragon has the trinket from radagon it gives you stats then u can use 4 points into dex to use the other bleed weapon you can get from the other weagon chest where u got the mount from with this weapon skill the dragon is dead in 2 minutes and then later on in the game if you don't rant the 4 points into dex u reskill after killing the boss in the magic castle this could save you like 30 minutes
Until after I beat godrick I duel wielded the knights great sword left hand and right hand I had lord sworn great sword main hand heavy ashes on both left hand endure right hand wild strikes used fire grease both weapons plus 5 and had about 35 strength 27 vigor 14 stamina everything else base stat to vagabond with beast armor heavy weight fat roll and jellyfish summoning ash with the crimson hp boost medallion and radagons no helmet no shoes and I destroyed margit and when godrick would hit me I’d laugh like it tickles and jump attack him for like 20%-30% of his health he was under 40% health when he entered his second phase this is my first playthrough by the way
U must remember bro, there are new people coming to the game every day. Might be old news for u, but for others it’s their first time seeing a video like this. If you know the info already it’s cool, thanks for watching
Oh my dude I don’t care lol my content is for those who want to watch. Doesn’t matter that the game has been out for 2 years I’m gonna make the best content for the game I can ☺️
What are you doing here then? Some of us are just getting going and learning the ropes! Nobody knows everything about the game unless they have been living in the game for a while.
After you defeat Godrick, make sure to bless and activate his rune, then head to the Weeping Penunsula and get Radagon Scarseal from the evergaol boss. Rune gives you +5 to all attributes, while Scarseal gives you additional +3 to Vigor, Endurance, Strength, and Dexterity You get 52 levels for free, basically. +10% damage increase from scarseal is neglible in early game. The great rune requires rune arcs, but with your low level, it will be easy to farm them by helping people defeat Godrick or other early game bosses.

It won’t let me return to the table thing to talk to d😢
Because im in 1.00 i didn't find great sword is it ok to do this build with grafted blade, great axe or lordsworn great sword?
Yeah the grafted blade or lordsworn will work fine :)
@@pastorgainzgames thank you bro
Im looking for an strength build for early lvls 60 to 70 2hand hammer
This is good to get u started
@@pastorgainzgames I know this video is super efficient but I just want the hammer u know 😂
@@pastorgainzgames bonus tip from me to improve more timing the castle at the dragon has the trinket from radagon it gives you stats then u can use 4 points into dex to use the other bleed weapon you can get from the other weagon chest where u got the mount from with this weapon skill the dragon is dead in 2 minutes and then later on in the game if you don't rant the 4 points into dex u reskill after killing the boss in the magic castle this could save you like 30 minutes
@@zuuhl3703 ah yes I actually added that into another early build video as well! Thanks bud
@@zuuhl3703 I gotcha haha
which ash of war?
is this a trolling vid ? i been hitting this dragon for 10-15 mins nothing happens , yes used mace also used golden halberd it doesnt die :/
This is not a trolling vid look at the comments. It takes about 4-8 minutes with the weapon I tell u to get, u need a bleed wep man
I'll when I did this with my samurai run it was easier 😂 I already had bloodflame and nagakiba by then😂
I ran to the dragon at fort Faroth and the dragon immediately died :(
I sold the green turtle talisman...
Why do you jump off the cliff in the beginning of the game?
Because either way u die usually. It’s pretty hard to kill the scion at lvl 1
@@pastorgainzgames I see, I just got the game so I really don’t know shit lol
I cannot find the + 10 strength I’m right on that spot
Hiw do I beat the summoner so many mobs
Try and get him to hit his own guys because he does damage to them 🤗
Uhh d died what do I do
Should still be ok
Until after I beat godrick I duel wielded the knights great sword left hand and right hand I had lord sworn great sword main hand heavy ashes on both left hand endure right hand wild strikes used fire grease both weapons plus 5 and had about 35 strength 27 vigor 14 stamina everything else base stat to vagabond with beast armor heavy weight fat roll and jellyfish summoning ash with the crimson hp boost medallion and radagons no helmet no shoes and I destroyed margit and when godrick would hit me I’d laugh like it tickles and jump attack him for like 20%-30% of his health he was under 40% health when he entered his second phase this is my first playthrough by the way
Well done dude!
Ho did you kill margit so fast, seems like your movement speed is much better than the build actually provided.
The footage u see is what I used I would never provide false footage 👍
@@pastorgainzgames i need to git gud
@@pastorgainzgamesThat's true, I got to the end game with your build buddy, we just need to switch to the Giant Crusher after Leyndell and GG
@@miguelmartinazzo9630 yeah that tracks!
Is it that hard to show map locations?
Pretty sure I showed almost all of them. which location did you need?
@@pastorgainzgames It’s all good I found the place
LETSSS GOOOOOO WWWWWW
Thanks much!
Love this old news lmao 😂
U must remember bro, there are new people coming to the game every day. Might be old news for u, but for others it’s their first time seeing a video like this. If you know the info already it’s cool, thanks for watching
the real question is why are you here? you are probably just an acne-riddled kid that thinks he's a pro. no, you're dogshi+ lol
No
Yes
@@pastorgainzgames OK.
Pfffft nah
100%@@ARSFACE
@@pastorgainzgames better build video. Real men fight with their fist. Lmao.
Dawg no offense but this build is ass now
It isn't suppose to be an end game build my guy. its just to get you started.
Gayy vid
What’s it like being garbage
You're a little over a year late to the game, bud!
Oh my dude I don’t care lol my content is for those who want to watch. Doesn’t matter that the game has been out for 2 years I’m gonna make the best content for the game I can ☺️
Maidenless
What are you doing here then? Some of us are just getting going and learning the ropes! Nobody knows everything about the game unless they have been living in the game for a while.
This is the truth!@@jonncockrell3606
hey bud, unlike you some of us just started playing ER, so your comment is fickle and pointless. ok bud?
After you defeat Godrick, make sure to bless and activate his rune, then head to the Weeping Penunsula and get Radagon Scarseal from the evergaol boss.
Rune gives you +5 to all attributes, while Scarseal gives you additional +3 to Vigor, Endurance, Strength, and Dexterity
You get 52 levels for free, basically. +10% damage increase from scarseal is neglible in early game.
The great rune requires rune arcs, but with your low level, it will be easy to farm them by helping people defeat Godrick or other early game bosses.
Good looking out bro!
@@pastorgainzgames no prob! Thanks, I followed your guide and it worked quite well.
